Rebirth of the Movie Queen: Mrs. Sinclair, Please Hug Me! Chapter 342: Check His Phone
Quinn Lockwood felt deeply amused after hearing Wade Lynch’s description and analysis of the two people involved.
That Ariana Lynch truly remained as foolish and laughable as ever.
At the sa ti, Quinn also felt a bit sorry for Jonah Hansen, who had been obliviously cuckolded and still had to swallow his anger and keep a low profile around Ariana.
"I understand. Please continue to keep an eye on things for , President Lynch." Quinn lightly tapped her finger against the receiver, a triumphant smile forming on her lips.
After hanging up the phone, Quinn noticed that Elias Sinclair was nowhere to be seen, a flash of panic crossing her heart. She looked around and found him leaning against the elevator door waiting for her.
Even though Elias’s handso face showed no expression at the mont, Quinn could sense the patience and gentleness interwoven beneath his stern exterior.
The two of them returned to the office together.
The office was empty, with the door tightly shut, and everything on the desk remained untouched, in its original place.
However, Elias Sinclair’s phone had indeed been moved, slightly tilted and lying flat on the desk.
"Check for any ssages or clues left behind. I’ll head to the surveillance control room." Elias picked up his phone and handed it to Quinn, then strode out the door with his long legs.
"No need for a password; your fingerprint can unlock it." Elias paused slightly at the doorway to add this before leaving.
Quinn was startled to hear that her fingerprint could unlock his phone, her eyes widening as she stared at the man in front of her.
"What do you an? How can my fingerprint unlock your phone? I never recorded it!" Quinn thought Elias might have misspoken or rembered incorrectly.
She couldn’t recall ever recording her fingerprint on Elias’s phone, nor did she have the right to do so.
If it was Savannah Lowell, it was even more impossible!
Thinking of the original owner Savannah Lowell, a vague thought crossed Quinn’s mind: could Savannah have secretly recorded it before?
As various speculations ran through her mind, Elias’s deep and clear voice reached her ears: "I recorded it when you were drunk."
"In case anything happens, you can directly use my phone." A slight smile curved Elias’s lips, but before Quinn could clearly see it, he turned and left.
An unusual emotion passed through Quinn’s heart. Although she didn’t understand what special situation Elias was referring to, she inexplicably felt a warmth inside.
It was like... a couple willing to share all their secrets with each other.
Stop it, stop it, what are you thinking!
Quinn shook her head, quickly dismissing those ssy thoughts.
She picked up the phone and gently placed her finger on the screen, and with a click, the screen unlocked.
Quinn’s heartbeat quickened slightly. Quickly, check the ssages, don’t think about nonsense.
She opened the ssage interface and searched carefully, only to find junk ssages and business information with no extra conversation boxes.
That’s right, he almost never texts her.
Quinn flipped through the drafts and suddenly realized sothing.
Randomly scrolling through the interface, Quinn particularly wanted to tap into Elias’s WeChat and take a quick look.
However, as her finger was just about to touch the WeChat icon, Quinn quickly withdrew her hand.
No, no, Quinn, you can’t do such an indecent thing, definitely not!
Just as Quinn was hesitating and putting down the phone, Elias entered the room with a cold expression.
"Wh-what’s wrong?" Even though Quinn hadn’t done anything wrong, she felt guilty the mont she saw Elias, speaking with a lack of confidence.
"The office surveillance was cut off. From an hour ago to just now, it was in a blackout state." Elias walked to the desk, his back to Quinn.
After a pause of about three or four seconds, Elias didn’t speak.
Quinn looked at his back, seeing his hands resting on the desk, his shoulders slightly rising and falling as if suppressing sothing, but she swallowed the words on her lips.
"Soone really dared to go this far!" Suddenly, Elias slapped the table with his large hand, his eyes dark as night with what seed like small flas igniting within.
"Um, I checked your phone, and there’s no trace left." Quinn quickly spoke up but suddenly thought of a crucial point, a shock running through her heart.
"She knows your phone password!" Quinn took two steps forward, almost pitifully looking at Elias.
Elias heard this and suddenly turned around, his eyes dark like ink.
"I haven’t told anyone."
"Besides recording your fingerprint, no one else would know the password."
Quinn and Elias locked eyes, neither speaking, the office all quiet.
As both of them pondered who could be the obvious suspect, there ca a soft knock at the office door.
Knock, knock, knock!
"Co in." Elias said coldly, obviously displeased with soone disturbing them at such a crucial mont.
"Mr. Sinclair, Mrs. Sinclair, sorry to disturb you, I... forgot my stamp." Connor Shaw bowed to the two, clearly very apologetic.
Elias glanced at the desk, not seeing Connor’s stamp, and his expression grew darker.
Noticing Elias’s slight displeasure, Connor quickly pointed to the sofa.
"Sorry, sir, the stamp was left here!" Connor smiled apologetically, walking to the sofa to pick up the stamp lying there.
Quinn’s gaze remained fixed on Connor, which made Elias’s expression increasingly stern.
Perhaps sensing the strange atmosphere around them, Connor gave the two of them a light smile and was about to turn and leave.
"Wait." Elias’s icy voice suddenly echoed behind him, carrying a hint of coldness.
"Mr. Sinclair, what’s up?" Connor felt a strange uneasiness.
From Mr. Sinclair’s current deanor, it didn’t seem like he wanted to discuss business, so why had he suddenly been stopped?
Could it be that chatting a bit too long with his wife downstairs had made the man displeased?
Connor wondered this as he raised his clear eyes to observe Elias.
He could see that this aloof and cold Mr. Sinclair cared deeply about his wife.
"Did you see anyone enter my office?" Elias leaned against the edge of the table, looking down slightly as he examined Connor.
