A few bodyguards dragged Leo Hansen out and threw him to a place so distance away from the Sinclair Group.

Leo indeed should be thankful that he had just ntioned Xenia Monroe’s na.

And because of Xenia Monroe’s friendship with Quinn Lockwood, Elias Sinclair spared Leo Hansen.

Otherwise, given how our Boss Sinclair is, Leo Hansen wouldn’t even know how he died.

Nina Sinclair routinely ca to the company to learn about finance and investnt, and happened to overhear people in the office whispering about this matter.

If it were according to Nina’s previous way of handling things, she would definitely rush over and scold them fiercely, then tell her brother to punish them.

But now, after spending days closely with Quinn Lockwood, Nina had learned to be patient and forgiving.

Moreover, these people were discussing things about her brother and Xenia Monroe, so she had to investigate thoroughly and inform Quinn Lockwood.

Nina stood at the office door and listened to the ins and outs of the situation, and upon confirming that there was nothing unspeakable happening between her brother and Xenia Monroe, she felt reassured and called Quinn Lockwood.

"Sis-in-law, I just heard in the company that soone claiming to be Xenia Monroe’s boyfriend ca to curse my brother, and my brother was so angry his face turned black, but he just chased the man out."

"It’s really surprising, I thought my brother would have soone break his legs."

"Also, so employees in the company even said that this matter is probably true, so I got angry and scolded them all, venting for you!"

Nina squatted outside the corridor, chattering endlessly to Quinn Lockwood. While surprised at her brother’s tolerance toward Leo Hansen, she was quite proud of venting out on those gossiping employees for Quinn Lockwood.

On the other end of the phone, Quinn Lockwood remained silent, a surge of inexplicable emotion welling up inside her.

"Such a thing happened, really, thank you, Nina." With a simple reply to Nina, Quinn Lockwood quickly hung up the phone.

Upon carefully recalling what Nina had described, Quinn Lockwood felt she should apologize to Elias Sinclair first and also express her gratitude.

After all, it was she who brought Xenia Monroe ho, and did not notice that soone had been following them along the way, resulting in Leo Hansen misunderstanding the relationship between Elias Sinclair and Xenia Monroe.

Even though Leo Hansen was indeed too bold, ultimately it was her fault that led to Leo Hansen causing a commotion at Elias Sinclair’s company.

As the chairman of the group, and such a noble and aloof person, being witnessed by so many employees during such an event, Quinn Lockwood could imagine how high Elias Sinclair’s anger level would be.

Yet, he spared Leo Hansen because of her and Xenia Monroe’s relationship...

Quinn Lockwood picked up the phone once again, hesitating on how to apologize to Elias Sinclair, and after a while, pressed the dial button.

After ringing for about several dozen seconds, the call finally connected.

"Hello, are you busy?" Quinn Lockwood glanced at the clock; it was the busiest ti at the company in the morning, she couldn’t help but worry if she was disturbing Elias Sinclair’s work.

"Hmm, in a eting." The man’s deep and llow voice ca from the other end without a hint of impatient tone.

Quinn Lockwood’s heart skipped a beat and started to panic: "Uh, I’m sorry, I just wanted to say about Xenia Monroe’s ex-boyfriend causing trouble at the company, I’m very sorry."

"Sorry for interrupting your eting, I should hang up now."

Quinn Lockwood hurriedly finished these two sentences, just about to hang up the phone, when a cold yet slightly amused voice from the other end stopped her.

"Looks like you called just to apologize."

"The eting just was a phone eting, it’s over now."

Elias Sinclair’s tone was unlike the previous cold and angry interruption of his work; rather, it carried a gentle lightness.

Quinn Lockwood blinked, her heart rate speeding up.

Nervous, particularly nervous.

"Uh... still... very sorry." Quinn Lockwood bit her lip, unable to think of any words other than sorry.

"If it’s about Xenia Monroe’s matter, you don’t need to apologize anymore."

"If it’s because of interrupting my phone eting, just saying sorry isn’t enough." The man lightly rubbed the desk with his fingertips, his gaze falling on the black interface of the computer screen, reflecting a faintly smiling face.

"The xican birria soup last night tasted good." Elias Sinclair swivelled his executive chair, the smile on his lips deepening.

"Alright, I’ll have it ready for you when you co back." Quinn Lockwood paused for two seconds, understanding Elias Sinclair’s implication.

However, after Quinn Lockwood hung up the phone, the man’s smile quickly faded, becoming serious.

"Kevin, invite Miss Monroe over, saying I have matters to discuss with her on this side."

Have to admire the efficiency of Elias Sinclair’s staff.

In about half an hour, Xenia Monroe arrived at Elias Sinclair’s office.

"Uh... brother-in-law, what happened?" Xenia Monroe cautiously poked her head a bit, standing at Elias Sinclair’s office door.

Upon hearing Xenia Monroe’s address, the man’s brows slightly furrowed, his expression about to turn cold, but soon returned to normal.

"Sit." His fingertips pointed to the chair opposite the desk, the man said casually.

Xenia Monroe swallowed and moved to sit down.

"Bro... no, Mr. Sinclair, did you call in to talk about Savannah?" Xenia Monroe nervously gripped her thigh, genuinely unable to figure out why Elias Sinclair formally summoned her.

The man lifted his head to scrutinize Xenia Monroe, speaking seriously: "I never like ddling in others’ affairs."

"So I hope you can handle those ssy things yourself without letting Savannah get hurt in any way."

Elias Sinclair’s handso face carried a hint of sternness, his long eyes slightly narrowed, exuding a hint of danger.

Xenia Monroe dared not lift her head, rely sneaking glances at Elias Sinclair.

Although she couldn’t see Elias Sinclair’s expression, the sudden drop in temperature in the large office made Xenia Monroe feel a hint of fear deep down.

"I will handle it well, I don’t want Savannah to be hurt either."

"She is my best friend." Xenia Monroe clenched her knee harder.

Thinking of Leo Hansen’s rude and overbearing deanor made Xenia Monroe hate him to her core.

Besides hating Leo Hansen, the scumbag, she regretted her blindness back then even more.

After walking out of the Sinclair Group building, Xenia Monroe arranged to et Leo Hansen, expressing her intention to have a good talk with him.
