A trace of strangeness flashed across Joyce Krar’s eyes, and her expression gradually beca cold and sinister.

"What are you all doing? Don’t you know you can’t gather and chat during work hours?" Joyce Krar returned to the office area and saw several employees gathered around a computer. The fire in her heart was instantly ignited.

The employees quickly dispersed, lowering their heads slightly, cautiously explaining: "We... weren’t chatting. I don’t understand the database problem, so I was just asking them about it."

"Don’t understand? If there’s sothing you don’t know, you should learn it at ho before coming to work. The company is a place for work, not a school." Joyce Krar’s face was full of anger, her slender eyebrows tightly knit into a curve, her eyes flickering with almost uncontrollable rage.

The employees, seeing her like this, didn’t dare to explain further and just nodded repeatedly in agreent.

Seeing the employees’ shrinking and fearful appearance, Joyce Krar felt a surge of resentnt with nowhere to vent, so after issuing a few warnings, she turned and left.

Savannah Lowell, even if Mr. Sinclair has feelings for you, the position of Mrs. Sinclair is ant for , Joyce Krar, and no one else can have it.

After the cleaning staff tidied up the office desk, Elias Sinclair sat down again to process so docunts.

But the more he looked at those densely packed numbers, the more irritated Elias Sinclair felt, with the bright and elegant face of Quinn Lockwood occupying his mind.

With a snap, he closed the docunts, and the man suddenly stood up and walked out of the office.

Elias Sinclair drove the car swiftly and returned ho in just over ten minutes.

"Where’s Savannah Lowell?" Seeing Quinn Lockwood hadn’t returned, the man frowned and asked Nina Sinclair.

"Huh? Our sister-in-law hasn’t co back? I thought you two were together." Nina Sinclair removed the book from her face, sat up, and said with so surprise.

Elias Sinclair’s brows furrowed even deeper, feeling increasingly irritable and empty-hearted.

After fetching so docunts from the study to review and rectify, Elias Sinclair found himself unable to read a single word.

As the clock ticked continuously, ti slowly slipped away.

Leaning against the back of the chair and pinching his tightly knitted brows, Elias Sinclair looked up at the ti, his face instantly darkened.

This woman, Savannah Lowell, has beco bolder. She went ho without even saying a word.

With a grim face, he picked up the phone next to him, pulled up Quinn Lockwood’s contact, and his fingers hovered over the interface but didn’t dial out.

He then pulled up the Lowell Family’s landline number, and the man pressed the call button with his fingertip.

"Mom, it’s Elias Sinclair. Has Savannah co ho?" Elias Sinclair’s voice was as low as ever, yet it carried a hint of cautious expectation.

"No, what’s wrong, Elias? Did you two have a fight?" Mrs. Lowell’s heart imdiately tightened upon hearing Elias ask this, thinking her daughter might have run out in a fit of temper again.

"No, she just ntioned wanting to go back for a visit these past few days. I didn’t see her at the office, so I thought she went straight ho after finishing her work."

"I’ll give her a call, don’t worry." Upon hearing Mrs. Lowell say that Quinn Lockwood hadn’t returned ho, Elias Sinclair’s expression instantly turned cold, but his tone remained calm, showing no sign of anything unusual.

However, this was Boss Sinclair’s first ti lying, coolly like an experienced pro, without a hint of change in expression or any flaws.

When Mrs. Lowell heard Elias say this, her worries eased a bit. She then reminded Elias to take good care of her daughter before hanging up.

As he lightly tapped his fingers on the desk, the man lowered his eyes in thought, pondering where Quinn Lockwood could possibly be.

A fleeting sense of panic crossed his heart, and Elias Sinclair couldn’t help but worry if Quinn Lockwood was in any danger.

As soon as this thought crossed his mind, Elias Sinclair suddenly stood up and quickly headed downstairs.

"Brother, where are you going? Is there a problem at the company?" Nina Sinclair put down her comic book and looked at Elias Sinclair with confusion.

It was already so late; generally, without any major issues, her brother rarely went out.

"No problem. Savannah hasn’t co back yet, I’m going to the set to check." The man’s tone carried a slight urgency, as he took the suit jacket hanging on the rack and was about to leave.

"Hey hey, brother, our sister-in-law just told she won’t be coming back tonight. Didn’t she tell you?" Nina Sinclair quickly stood up, took a couple of steps to stop her brother.

Upon hearing this, Elias Sinclair’s handso face turned as dark as ink, with his voice suppressing anger to the extre: "What did you say?"

Nina Sinclair felt as if the temperature in the entire first-floor hall dropped, and she couldn’t help but shiver, taking two steps back as she saw Elias Sinclair’s increasingly gloomy expression.

"Our sister-in-law said... she’s out playing with friends tonight and won’t... be coming back." She nervously swallowed, speaking as she picked up the comic book from the sofa.

"That’s all, that’s all she told . If there’s nothing else, I’ll... go to bed now." Nina Sinclair moved backward step by step, and once she distanced herself enough from Elias Sinclair, she quickly turned and ran upstairs.

It was too scary; she didn’t want to stay within ten ters of her brother. The pressure was so oppressive that even breathing felt extrely difficult.

Nina Sinclair clasped her hands together in a prayer gesture.

Although her sister-in-law had always been bold, Nina Sinclair truly admired Quinn Lockwood for having the guts to leave her brother behind and go out to have fun, especially not returning for the night.

She could only hope that by the ti Quinn Lockwood returned, her brother would have already cald down.

After searching through all of Quinn Lockwood’s social connections, Elias Sinclair finally locked onto the most suspicious target: Xenia Monroe.

With slender fingers hooking up his coat, the man drove with a cold face straight to Xenia Monroe’s place.

As Elias Sinclair’s car stopped, the two security guards stationed outside Xenia Monroe’s apartnt couldn’t help but sigh.

This must be a gentleman with status and position. The security guards didn’t dare ask much and, after a deep bow, opened the door.

Following the apartnt location found by his subordinates, Elias Sinclair easily found the small villa where Xenia Monroe resided.

anwhile, Quinn Lockwood and Xenia Monroe were both drunk.

"Hic, Sierra, your alcohol tolerance is really poor now, really poor." Quinn Lockwood was seated on the floor, holding a wine glass, resting her head on the edge of the sofa.

"Yeah, you’re aweso, look at your rosy cheeks, like a monkey’s butt." Xenia Monroe picked up the wine bottle to pour more into the glass, her shaky hand almost spilling it on the floor.

"Hmph, you’re an educated high achiever, yet you speak so rudely!" Quinn Lockwood raised her hand to slap Xenia Monroe, then tilted her head back to down a glass of wine.

Placing the glass on the floor, Quinn Lockwood patted Xenia Monroe on the shoulder and slurred: "Pour, pour the wine, it’s gone."
