"I know." Nina Sinclair replied sullenly, ignoring Ariana Lynch’s attempt to shake her hand.

Really never seen the world, as if it’s necessary to flaunt one’s identity at every turn.

Acting like nobody knows.

Ariana Lynch looked at Nina Sinclair’s disdainful expression, her smile froze montarily, and her hand remained suspended in the air, still poised for a handshake.

Though The Lockwood Family cannot match The Sinclair Family, it’s still one of the top three leading companies. For Nina Sinclair, an inept lady, what right does she have to look down on the vice president of The Lockwood Group?

Even though such thoughts raced through her mind, Ariana Lynch couldn’t afford any unpleasantness with Nina Sinclair, after all, her brother Elias Sinclair held the reins of the entire economic lifeline.

"Little sis, how co you guys bought so much stuff? I’ve never seen Savannah carrying an LV bag before; going out with Miss Sinclair must have cost quite a bit." Retracting her hand, Ariana Lynch glanced at the items in Quinn Lockwood’s hand and remarked with a hint of surprise.

Nina Sinclair realized that Ariana Lynch was intentionally mocking Quinn Lockwood and was about to retort when she felt Quinn tugging at her sleeve.

The two exchanged glances, and Nina blinked, indicating she understood Quinn’s aning.

"Yeah, I haven’t seen Savannah Lowell with an LV bag either." Nina glanced at Quinn, then condescendingly scanned the bags in her hand.

Ariana Lynch’s face lit up with pride at those words, but it was quickly replaced by sympathy: "Savannah, your career is just starting. Don’t force yourself into things that don’t match you."

Quinn Lockwood slightly curled her lips, then frowned, looking troubled between Ariana Lynch and Nina Sinclair.

"Indeed, it’s unmatched. Savannah’s bags and clothes are always custom-made, not found outside."

"By rights, with this high-end crocodile leather and exclusive VIP logo, anyone knowledgeable should recognize it, right?" Nina caressed Quinn’s bag with admiration shining on her face.

"Too bad I only have a few, unlike Savannah, who has a whole cabinet full." Nina pouted as she spoke, wearing a grievously wronged expression.

Ariana Lynch’s eyes widened in disbelief, staring at the bag in Nina’s hand as if trying to see it thoroughly.

How could that wretch Savannah Lowell have a cabinet full of custom bags?

She, the grand miss of The Lockwood Group, didn’t even possess a single custom-made item, yet Savannah boasts an entire cabinet.

"Ariana, feel this texture, this grain, and this stitching, every single thread exudes premium quality." Nina presented the bag to Ariana Lynch, raising an eyebrow, gesturing for her to touch it.

"Alright, Nina, there’s nothing to show off here, let’s go." Quinn Lockwood bit her lip in embarrassnt, tugging Nina’s arm.

"Sorry, Ariana, I didn’t an it." Quinn nodded slightly to express her apology before pulling Nina away rapidly.

"Don’t rush off, Ariana hasn’t had a look yet, hey hey." Nina was dragged away by Quinn, swaying on her heels, still waving the bag at Ariana Lynch.

Ariana Lynch’s face alternated between green and white, her veins nearly popping in anger.

Her gentle and calm face twisted frighteningly, full of resentnt and fury, could only clench her fists tightly.

Damn wretch, let’s see how long you can stay smug.

Glaring coldly in the direction Quinn Lockwood left for a long ti, Ariana Lynch finally turned on her heels, her high heels clacking forcefully against the ground.

Once on the car, Nina Sinclair couldn’t stop laughing, clutching her belly.

"Haha, little sister-in-law, did you see her expression? Her eyes were about to pop out, wasn’t that hilarious?"

Nina tossed the bag onto the rear seat, then mocked Ariana Lynch even more boldly: "And she calls herself a grand lady of a noble family, but she’s rely a sparrow that’s perched on a branch, thinking she’s a phoenix."

Quinn Lockwood couldn’t help but snicker, agreeing that Nina was spot on. Ariana Lynch is just that sparrow perched on the branch.

One day, she would aim her hunting rifle and ruthlessly bring her down.

Quinn Lockwood and Nina Sinclair returned ho carrying bags and parcels.

Grandpa Sinclair smiled contentedly when he saw how well they got along.

It seed the only concern left was when he would be able to hold a grandchild.

Later that night, Quinn Lockwood received an urgent call from Anna.

"A trendous piece of good news, Savannah."

"Internationally renowned director Quentin Woods is planning to shoot a movie in the country. The company has tirelessly secured an audition opportunity for you as the lead. Be at the film set by 8 a.m. tomorrow. I’ll send you the address shortly."

Anna’s voice was exuberantly loud, almost bursting Quinn Lockwood’s eardrum.

Quinn’s heart leaped at the ntion of director Quentin Woods’ na.

This is a famous director with forty years of shooting experience, even invited by Hollywood.

Working on a movie guided by him, Quinn not only stands to gain substantial experience and acting techniques but also significantly increases her market value.

Though she was thrilled, the mory of how the company handled the recent controversy still left a bitter taste.

"Anna, perhaps you’ve dialed the wrong number? Didn’t the company suspend all my activities? How could they possibly offer such an opportunity?" Quinn kicked off her shoes, laying her legs across the bed, sarcastically spoke.

Slight hesitation was audible from the other end, then a flattering laugh: "How could you say that? You’re an artist cultivated by the company, both beautiful and talented. The company wouldn’t dream of stopping your activities—rely a temporary asure."

Anna gripped the phone with both hands, awkwardly smiling. The docunt halting Quinn Lockwood’s activities was starkly evident on her desk.

"Oh, so that’s how it is? I thought I’d already lost my job, planning to pack my things tomorrow." Quinn retorted lazily.

Anna broke into a cold sweat, fully aware of how sharp-tongued Quinn could be.

If once she hadn’t known Quinn’s identity, she might’ve responded rudely as her agent, but now she could never dare.

Should this ancestor really drop everything or outright kick them out, it wasn’t out of the question.

"There’s no chance, Savannah. The company has been selecting the best engagents for you; it’s only been a few days since we’ve called, don’t take it to heart."
