As soon as this news was released, it received universal acclaim; such a generous and grateful actress is extrely rare.

For a while, Quinn Lockwood’s fan count surged significantly.

Quinn Lockwood curled her lips in satisfaction, then locked her phone screen and grabbed a nearby pillow to hug.

This Wade Lynch really lives up to being a reporter; his writing is indeed much better than mine.

After seeing what Quinn Lockwood had posted, the agency imdiately notified the studio to repost it with the official account, while promoting an upcoming new drama.

Several executives were relieved that they had not directly decided to bench Quinn Lockwood, or else they would have lost significant amounts of money!

In no ti, she beca a major headline figure, and nearly every brand wanted to seize the opportunity to have Quinn Lockwood as their product endorser.

anwhile, as Elias Sinclair finished reviewing the last docunt, his expression still didn’t relax.

He frowned as he stared at his phone for a long ti, and the more he looked, the darker his expression beca.

He picked up his phone to call Quinn Lockwood, hesitated for a mont, then turned off his phone and got up to check on the progress of a project’s closing work.

Just as he stepped out of the elevator, he overheard so people discussing, faintly hearing Quinn Lockwood and Sylvia Lawson’s nas. Before he drew closer, the group scattered in fright.

"Stop," Elias Sinclair’s low, cold voice rang in their ears, startling them into standing rooted to the spot, not daring to move.

The man’s face remained cold as he slowly paced to the front, scrutinizing them with furrowed brows.

"Repeat what you were just saying."

Several employees swallowed nervously, not daring to look up at Elias Sinclair or speak.

They never expected the sir himself would co over, and seeing Elias Sinclair’s stern deanor, they were deeply nervous, fearing it was because they were gossiping during work hours.

Elias Sinclair’s gaze grew deeper and colder; he squinted slightly, then pointed to an employee in a purple top: "You, speak."

The employee shivered suddenly, lowered their head, closed their eyes, and dared not look at Elias Sinclair, recounting the recent events between Quinn Lockwood and Sylvia Lawson in a trembling, fragnted manner, nearly choking from nervousness.

Gossiping during work hours is absolutely unforgivable in this leading enterprise, and right now they were praying that Mr. Sinclair wouldn’t fire them.

As long as they could remain at The Sinclair Group, they were willing to accept any punishnt.

After learning about Quinn Lockwood’s recent experiences, Elias Sinclair’s expression turned ice-cold, as if plumting into the depths of a harsh winter: "When did this happen and why didn’t anyone tell ?"

The employees were taken aback by his question.

Is he concerned about Savannah Lowell?

Seeing them still hang their heads, looking timid, Elias Sinclair couldn’t help but feel annoyed.

"Pack up your things and report to the training departnt imdiately." With his entire brow tightly knit, Elias Sinclair instructed his assistant to cancel the evening eting and then quickly left the company.

The employees stood dazed for a mont before realizing, relieved that they were simply sent to the training departnt and not fired.

The training departnt is ant for onboarding new employees, and being sent back there as long-term veterans ant starting from the basics like newcors.

But they were still quite happy, because for a company like The Sinclair Group that holds sway over the national economy, staying was a blessing from above.

While overjoyed, they thought again about their boss’s worried reaction upon hearing about Savannah Lowell’s situation, and started gossiping absent-mindedly once more.

"Do you think our boss went to find Savannah Lowell?"

"I always feel like the boss seems quite concerned about Miss Lowell... We better be careful around Miss Lowell next ti."

Joyce Krar happened to co over to carry out the demotion orders and overheard them saying President Sinclair was concerned about Quinn Lockwood, her beautiful eyes suddenly filled with resentnt.

"What? Still think the demotion isn’t severe enough? The entry post at the company is still open, do you want to try it?" Joyce Krar held a stack of docunts and transfer cards at the doorway, her angry deanor indeed seeming like she had caught employees breaking the rules.

After sending the group to the training departnt, Joyce Krar wanted to ask Elias Sinclair why the eting was canceled. She knocked on the office door but got no response, tried the handle, and found it locked.

It appeared President Sinclair wasn’t in the company; where could he be?

Recalling the words several employees had said, her eyes instantly filled with burning jealousy.

...

anwhile, Quinn Lockwood had fallen asleep on the sofa, her phone falling from her hand to the floor.

Since Mr. Lowell and Mrs. Lowell were invited to a party by friends in Valtara, and Caron Grant was busy with the quarterly summary work at The Lowell Group, Quinn Lockwood was alone at ho.

By now the sun had set, and the Lowell Villa remained dark, but the beautiful and fair figure on the sofa slept soundly, smacking her lips lightly. Quinn Lockwood giggled foolishly, as if dreaming sothing amusing.

Just then, a black Maybach pulled into the courtyard of the Lowell Villa.

Seeing the whole villa enveloped in darkness, seeming unoccupied, Elias Sinclair frowned slightly.

He dialed Quinn Lockwood’s number, but no one answered, so he instead called Caron Grant.

"Why’s no one ho?" Elias Sinclair’s voice was sowhat cold and distant; hearing Caron Grant’s hesitation, he added: "The Lowell Villa."

On the other end ca a soft "Oh," answering: "Mom and Dad went to Valtara for a banquet, and I’m at the office handling quarterly reports. As for Savannah... she should be busy."

"Understood." Elias Sinclair lowered his eyes, then hung up, and retrieved a key to the Lowell Villa from the car, unlocked the door, and entered.

With a click, he turned on the light, illuminating the room instantly. Elias Sinclair then heard the sound of even breathing. Looking in the direction of the sound, he saw Quinn Lockwood sprawled on the sofa, one leg hooked over the backrest, sleeping in a disorganized sprawl with hair scattered over her shoulder and lipstick slightly smudged.

Walking softly to her, Elias Sinclair gently pulled the pillow from beneath her head, replacing it with his own leg.

Gazing at the woman who was quietly asleep, her petite, ravishing face tinged with a soft blush from slumber, her small red lips seed as enticing as a droplet of water, tempting him to kiss her.
