“Li GuoQiang, Qin Jianyuan…… and Jiang WenYu. Congratulations.” She read out all ten nas one by one.
A round of warm applause ca from the audiences and the cara swept past all the winners and their emotions – sadness, happiness, anxiety, anger – were all displayed on the big screen. Among everyone with their unconcealed happiness, Jiang WenYu’s calmness seed very out of place.
The 10 award winners walked onto the stage, all of them looking high-spirited. This award in and of itself was a recognition of them.
Regardless of how these individuals were like in private, they had contributed a lot to the society as far as everyone could see. They would not otherwise have been selected. Fang JunRong smiled at them.
She presented the trophies to these winners one by one and, along with that, so of her praises and encouragent. A few of them were so excited that they would not stop talking when the host interviewed them.
Fang JunRong shoved the final trophy into the hands of Jiang WenYu. There was a lot that she wanted to say but they all boiled down two one simple word, “Congratulations.”
When she saved Jiang WenYu, she was thinking that he could be of use, as he too was an enemy of Jiang YaGe. After spending all the ti together in the last few years, they had beco real friends with each other. Jiang WenYu was much more outstanding than Fang JunRong had expected. In her previous life, he had wasted all of his talent on fighting Jiang YaGe.
During this lifeti, he was like a raw gem that had been polished and was able to shine in front of everyone else.
Jiang WenYu’s lips curved upward. “Thank you.”
He talked a little more in private and still seed very reserved in front of others. Staying in the laboratory day in and day out, he was not good with socializing with others.
Fang JunRong contemplated whether she should help him out during his interview.
Suddenly, she felt sothing cold being shoved into her hand.
Fang JunRong, who had spaced out for a few seconds, saw that Jiang WenYu had casually given her his trophy.
Fang JunRong suddenly felt that many pairs of eyes were looking at her. She asked softly, “Do you need to carry this for you?”
Jiang WenYu shook his head, “It’s for you.”
He added, “It’s what you deserved.”
Shrieking could be heard through the venue at this mont.
Jiang WenYu really didn’t give it that much thought when he did that. As far as he was concerned, with the exception of his grandmother who had raised him, Fang JunRong was the most important person to him.
Not only because she had provided him with opportunities, but also because much of his research stemd from the strange plants that he had no idea where she got from.
She was also the one who quelled his dark thoughts when he learned of the truth behind his mother’s death and finally opted for a more legal way to avenge.
She had contributed to half of his dal of rit. Because of her, he did not need to worry about all the hassles in the real world and could focus all of his energy on research.
He had no idea how to repay her so he tried his best to make sure that his research was fruitful and to give his award to her.
Unfortunately, this award was not an international research award and he still had a long path ahead of him.
The others had no idea that Jiang WenYu thought that this award was not grand enough but gasped from witnessing the scene and so even let out loud shrieks.
The handso young scientist of little words had just given the trophy that he had just received to the award presenter – she was the one who discovered him and his confidante. In the eyes of the others, his action was doubtless a wordless professing of his love.
Fang JunRong took the trophy from him after being dazed for a few seconds and thanked him.
Jiang WenYu was smiling gently and he looked tender.
This scene was so beautiful that it made many won at the venue envious. They only wished they were Fang JunRong at that mont in ti.
