In the face of Wang Jingwen’s arrogant attitude, Zhang Xiaohua wasn’t irritated as he slowly put away his hand which was stretched out. His face was pleasant, but in his heart, he wasn’t sure of what to think.

Zhang Xiaohua was trying to stay calm while Yuan Datong, on the other hand, was already in full blown frustration mode because he knew that Zhang Xiaohua had sincerely invited Wang Jingwen to talk about cooperation.

Yuan Datong admitted that he and his brothers weren’t famous musicians. The company was only just getting started, and they had no position or influence at all. However, even if the size of the company was small, did she not know her current identity? She was acting as if she was a famous person with such a haughty attitude.

Calling her a celebrity was being far too generous. She was nothing but a washed up singer.

Humph!

Her arrogant attitude was simply too different from her pure image in the music video.

It was no wonder that "New Century Entertainnt" wasn’t willing to renew her contract, she really deserved it!

At this thought, Yuan Datong looked at Wang Jingwen with an unpleasant face, but he did not say anything. After all, Zhang Xiaohua was the boss here, and everything should be decided by him.

After looking around at the simple environnt, Wang Jingwen’s mouth slightly hooked and brought a touch of disdain in her smile. Obviously, she was not very optimistic about this company.

In addition, before she even entered the door, she did not see a signboard with the words "HuaXiang Entertainnt" on the outside. She had thought that it was a private house or a dangerous and dilapidated building that was in disrepair.

Before actually coming, Wang Jingwen knew that this was a small company, but she never expected this company to be even smaller than she had imagined. Especially the so-called musicians in front of her, the average age was no more than 25 years old. It was simply a group of young, rough-haired babies. Did they think they could create good music?

Originally, Wang Jingwen also had so hopes for this company. She thought that with this company, she could make a coback. However, Wang Jingwen could not help but be disappointed.

She tried to leave as soon as possible.

Wang Jingwen turned her eyes and didn’t intend to look at Zhang Xiaohua. She couldn’t help but slightly glimpse as she felt that she was a bit familiar with this person and could not help but ask, "You look very familiar. Have we t before?"

"I’ll tell you. The person in front of you is not only the owner of our HuaXiang Entertainnt, he is also the Prince of New Century Entertainnt." Not waiting for Zhang Xiaohua to speak up, Yuan Datong proudly introduced him to Wang Jingwen.

After she had listened to Yuan Datong’s remarks, Wang Jingwen imdiately disliked them. Although Zhang Xiaohua didn’t do anything to her, she was slightly irritated with Zhang Xiaohua. Her lips imdiately gave a hint of laughter and she glared at Yuan Datong while she spoke, "Oh, I see! He was the second-generation ancestor who only partied all day long? Oh, I heard that his father had just passed away. Without a backing, he dared to open up a new company? What a joke!"

"You..."

Yuan Datong grudged from his heart and was about to make a big noise, but Wang Jingwen didn’t give him the opportunity as she continued to cynically say, "Everyone now knows that New Century Entertainnt changed its na. The company is basically surnad ’Cao’... Do you still think that you Zhangs still run it?"

Yuan Datong was angry and desperate, but he could not find any reason to refute because this Wang Jingwen was right. The New Century Entertainnt was indeed run by the Cao family. Although Zhang Xiaohua still held his share of New Century Entertainnt, this fact couldn’t be changed.

"Forget it, you shouldn’t bother with her, or you’ll end up dying from anger." Emma patted his back gently.

Yuan Datong had already turned his gaze to Zhang Xiaohua. He seed to be watching Zhang Xiaohua’s emotions. At the sa ti, he also felt a bit of sympathy for Zhang Xiaohua.

Yuan Datong couldn’t deny that the forr Zhang Xiaohua was a prodigal son who did nothing. Wang Jingwen didn’t laugh at him for no reason. However, he and his father had deep feelings.

According to Yuan Datong’s understanding of Zhang Xiaohua, he knew that Zhang Xiaohua could tolerate anything, except soone talking about his father in a negative way.

His father had only just passed away, and the wound in his heart hadn’t yet healed. This Wang Jingwen actually sprinkled salt on his wounds, so he was afraid that Zhang Xiaohua couldn’t stand it!

In order to prevent Zhang Xiaohua from being humiliated again, Yuan Datong suddenly raised his voice: "I tell you, we are not afraid to find soone else to sing the song we made. Today you didn’t sing, and it’s your loss. Now we don’t welco you here. Please leave!"

"Humph!" Wang Jingwen coldly replied, "Even if you ask to stay, I won’t. I haven’t fallen so far that I need a job from a small company that could close down at any ti."

After her speech was finished, Wang Jingwen turned to leave and twisting her hips, she walked straight out the door.

In her opinion, a small company like this inviting her to cooperate was no different from simply humiliating her.

After all, she used to be the shining star of New Century Entertainnt. What was New Century Entertainnt? It was the industry’s leading player, and every day many people dreamt of becoming a contracted artist of New Century Entertainnt, but they couldn’t really step into that company anymore as there were too many thresholds.

Being a forr mber of New Century Entertainnt was enough to make Wang Jingwen proud. What’s more, she didn’t think this humble little company could even create a good song. She was still very young and would have lots of opportunities in the future; moreover, if she signed up with this small company, she would undoubtedly miss many opportunities. After all, contracts are limiting and binding.

Instead of wasting any more ti, it was better to take a break.

Not waiting for Wang Jingwen to leave the company, Zhang Xiaohua said, "Miss Wang, since you ca all this way, why don’t you first listen to our company’s work before leaving? Maybe we could really have the opportunity to cooperate."

"Xiaohua, aren’t you angry? How can you tolerate this?" Wang Jingwen hadn’t yet taken a stand, but Yuan Datong suddenly beca impatient. However, before he could finish his words, Zhang Xiaohua waved his hand at him, indicating for him to stop.

He didn’t know where to begin, Yuan Datong had been accustod to listening to Zhang Xiaohua’s instructions, so he closed his mouth. He too wanted to see how exactly Zhang Xiaohua would deal with this matter.

Wang Jingwen stopped listening and didn’t return back inside. "I don’t think that’s necessary."

Zhang Xiaohua raised his hand to his nose and smiled. "Oh, since you ca, it shows how much hope you have for our company. Anyway, since you’re already here, why not just listen to it? You can still leave after that. Again, even if you used to be an entertainer of New Century Entertainnt, don’t you still have to go to the bar and sing all day now?"

Wang Jingwen’s body shook slightly.

Obviously, Zhang Xiaohua’s words had reached her heart...
