Chapter 881: 219: Cunning Yangyang_3 Chapter 881: 219: Cunning Yangyang_3 “`

“If, just if…”

“There are no ifs!” Doctor Jiang impatiently interrupted Zheng Lingling’s words, “Lingling! Do you think you’ll be safe if you don’t do this? Have you forgotten what you’ve done before? If Ni Yang finds out about those things, wouldn’t even one of them be enough to put you behind bars?”

Zheng Lingling was stunned again.

Doctor Jiang sighed deeply, speaking earnestly, “Lingling, it hasn’t been easy for us to get to this point. I don’t want you to give up the glory and wealth before your eyes so easily, letting it fall into soone else’s hands.”

The hardships of over thirty years of wind and rain, only those who’ve experienced it could truly understand.

Sun Wu quickly said, “Even for Xianjing’s sake, we have to fight. Xianjing is used to living as a wealthy lady, going from luxury to frugality is hard. If she loses the Zheng Family, how will she live in the future?”

“Are you willing to let Ni Yang take away everything that belongs to Xianjing?”

Unwilling!

How could Zheng Lingling be willing to let Ni Yang take away what belonged to Zheng Xianjing?

“Aunt Jiang.” Zheng Lingling looked up at Doctor Jiang, “I’ll listen to you.”

Doctor Jiang nodded in satisfaction, “I’m old, wealth and power are fleeting to . I’m doing all this for your family of three, Lingling. While we still have a hold over Zheng Suyu’s Achilles heel, you must seize this opportunity.”

“Understood, I appreciate all your hard work.” Zheng Lingling nodded.

anwhile.

Ni Yang had been asleep for over two hours, and by the ti she woke up, it had already grown dark outside the window.

After sleeping, Ni Yang felt much better.

She washed her face in the restroom and changed into clean clothes. As Ni Yang was about to head downstairs, there was a knock at the door.

“Yangyang.” It was Ni Cuihua’s voice.

Ni Yang went to open the door, “Mom, when did you co back?”

Ni Cuihua was holding a tray with slices of bread and milk, “I’ve been ho for a while. Dinner won’t be for a bit, have so bread to tide you over.”

Ni Yang picked up the bread and milk, then asked, “Did you visit Grandma?”

“I did,” Ni Cuihua nodded, “Grandma doesn’t seem to be doing very well.”

Ni Yang frowned subtly, “Is Zheng Lingling ho?”

“You child, how can you call her by na like that?” Ni Cuihua continued, “It would sound so bad if others heard it.”

While Zheng Lingling was indeed acting duplicitously, she hadn’t openly made things difficult for Ni Yang.

In the eyes of others, she was still a good aunt.

If soone overheard Ni Yang calling Zheng Lingling by na, they might misjudge her as an ingrate.

Ni Yang knew Ni Cuihua’s concerns and said with a smile, “Don’t worry, I was just saying it behind her back, no one will hear.”

“When I got back, I didn’t see her. Not just her, Sun Wu wasn’t ho either.”

Zheng Suyu had just woken up the second before, and this couple had disappeared right afterward.

It was almost impossible not to suspect sothing!

“Where did they go?” Ni Yang took a sip of milk.

“I don’t know,” Ni Cuihua shook her head.

“Mom, have you noticed anything strange about Zheng Lingling and Doctor Jiang?” Ni Yang continued.

“What do you an?” Ni Cuihua asked.

“Just very strange.” Ni Yang finished her last sip of milk, then said, “Mom, let’s go visit Grandma.”

“Okay,” Ni Cuihua nodded.

The mother and daughter left the room and headed toward Zheng Suyu’s room.

Ni Cuihua reached out to knock on the door, “Aunt Suyu, it’s Tingting, may I co in?”

“I’m very tired, let’s talk about it tomorrow,” Zheng Suyu’s voice ca from inside.

Ni Cuihua looked up at Ni Yang.

Ni Yang shook her head, “Let’s leave it for now.”

It was too soon to rush things with Zheng Suyu just waking up.

The mother and daughter headed downstairs.

As they descended, they saw Zheng Lingling and Sun Wu returning ho with Zheng Xianjing.

Seeing Zheng Xianjing, Old Lady Zheng exclaid in surprise, “Xianjing, weren’t you supposed to have classes today? Why have you co back now?”

“I was fetched by my mom and dad,” said Zheng Xianjing. “I heard Grandma woke up, is it true?”

This explained why Zheng Lingling and Sun Wu had vanished as soon as Zheng Suyu woke up.

Ni Yang’s lips curled subtly. This couple still had so brains.

No wonder there’s a saying in detective studies: Those who seem the most normal are often the most abnormal.
