"In the incubator, Brother Mo, quickly take Sister Jiaojiao and Brother Du over to take a look."

"Okay." Mo Qishen nodded and led the two people to the next room.

It was Du Jiaojiao’s first ti seeing triplets, and she was utterly amazed, "Oh my God! The three of them look exactly the sa! Their eyes resemble Yangyang’s, so bright! I really want to hold them."

Du Jiaojiao only noticed that the children’s eyes were very similar to Ni Yang’s.

But Master Du’s gaze fell on the hand of the second child, Mo Zi’an.

There was a tiny red mole on the web between Mo Zi’an’s thumb and index finger of his left hand.

No wonder it’s her child.

So much like her!

Looking at these three little ones, Master Du’s expression softened considerably.

"Have the nas been chosen?" Master Du looked up at Mo Qishen.

"Yes," Mo Qishen continued, "The eldest is called Mo Ziyao, the second is Mo Zi’an, and the third is Mo Ziyin."

Master Du nodded slightly, "Smoke gives birth to distant shores hidden, the moon falls on a half cliff dimly; good nas."

Du Jiaojiao also thought the nas were well-chosen.

Ni Yang, who was sitting out her postpartum period, needed rest, so Master Du and Du Jiaojiao did not stay long at the hospital.

After a while, they left.

The two walked out of the hospital.

Master Du said, "You go back to Deming House first, I want to take a walk alone."

"Okay." Du Jiaojiao nodded, "Then I’ll go back first."

Master Du walked alone down the streets of Beijing.

Unwittingly, he found himself in a quiet alley.

He paused.

He felt that the scene before him was sowhat familiar.

Suddenly, an image from many years ago flashed in his mind, and a faint smile appeared at the corner of his lips.

This was where he first t Ni Yang.

According to Ni Yang.

At that ti, she had only casually saved him.

In his life, he had encountered many won.

Beautiful, gentle, lovable, pure... and scheming ones like Chu Xiangyi.

But soone like her, it was the first ti he’d seen.

Even the bird she raised was so different.

And now Zhao Yu.

Zhao Yu’s ability to maintain her original innocence had a lot to do with her.

He wasn’t attracted to her at first sight.

He didn’t know when it started, but he slowly began to like her... she began to fill his heart and mind...

Love knows no reason, but grows deeper and deeper.

He knew his feelings were disgraceful.

How could he fall for his good brother’s woman!

A brother’s wife must not be coveted!

He’s just a scoundrel!

Having committed nurous wrongs in the first half of his life, he then developed inappropriate feelings for his brother’s woman in the latter half.

Yet he just couldn’t control it.

But he had no choice but to bury those feelings deep in his heart.

He didn’t even dare to glance at her more than necessary.

He was afraid soone might see through his thoughts.

A woman as good as her shouldn’t be sullied by his corrupt heart.

He feared that once discovered, he wouldn’t even have the privilege to quietly admire her.

After Chu Xiangyi found out about this, he beca even more cautious.

Next life.

Next life he must be a good person.

Definitely.

Master Du twirled the Buddha beads, looking at the alley before him, as if the scene from that night was replaying all over again.

After a long ti, Master Du finally walked out of the alley.

The bustling streets were filled with people.

Master Du dressed in an old-fashioned buttoned long gown, exuding a solemn coldness, seed out of place among the people of the new age.

At that mont, a child aged about five or six quickly ran over from across the road.

Several older children were chasing behind him.

"Bang!"

Master Du, already sowhat distracted, was accidentally bumped into by the child running from the opposite direction.

"Are you alright?" In his reflex, he imdiately pulled the child up from the ground.

"I’m sorry, they were chasing ... sob...sob..." The child rubbed his eyes with both hands, crying in fear.

Master Du glanced back.

His gaze was so piercing that the group of children fled in panic, "Run!"

Master Du originally intended to leave, but when his gaze swept over the child’s hand, he crouched down, reaching out to pat the dust off the child, "What’s your na?"

"I—I am Er Gouzi."

"Er Gouzi?" Master Du raised an eyebrow slightly, "And where do you live? I’ll take you ho."

"I—I live at Lezhiju, 138 Nanwu Road."

Master Du stood up, holding Er Gouzi’s hand, "Let’s go, I’ll take you ho."

When he reached the address that Er Gouzi ntioned, Master Du discovered that Lezhiju was an orphanage.

Er Gouzi was an orphan.

Master Du unexpectedly glanced at Er Gouzi.

Er Gouzi had suddenly disappeared earlier, and the headmaster was frantic; seeing Master Du bring Er Gouzi back, the headmaster breathed a sigh of relief, "Thank you, sir, for bringing Er Gouzi back. This child just arrived at our Lezhiju and isn’t used to this place yet; he always thinks about running away!"

Two months ago, a car accident took away Er Gouzi’s parents.

Because his parents had fled to Beijing and he had no relatives in their forr ho, the orphanage had to take care of him.

After escorting Er Gouzi back to Lezhiju, Master Du left.

Er Gouzi followed behind Master Du’s departing figure.

"Little guy, why are you following ?"

"Uncle, you’re a good man, could you adopt , please?"

Master Du chuckled, "Who told you I was a good man?"

"Uncle." Er Gouzi reached out and tugged on Master Du’s clothes.

"Go back." Master Du patted Er Gouzi’s head, his gaze inadvertently sweeping across Er Gouzi’s hand.

Er Gouzi stood at his original spot watching Master Du’s departing figure.

He only turned back once he could no longer see him at all.

Returning to Deming House.

Master Du summoned his assistant, "I need you to handle sothing for ."

"Please tell ."

"I want to adopt a child nad Er Gouzi from Lezhiju."

Du Jiaojiao was astounded to hear that Master Du wanted to adopt a child.

Her third brother had always been soone devoid of excess sympathy; why did he suddenly want to adopt a child?
