When the soldiers were assisting Su Wenyue out, Han Yu had already arrived in person, barely catching his breath, indicating he had hurried over. “Madam was just kidnapped, and due to the overexcitent, she had an attack of heart disease. We were bringing her to the dical clinic to see a doctor.” The two soldiers hurriedly explained, indicating their innocence. However, Han Yu was not soone who would believe them so easily. Besides, what heart disease? Han Yu knew his daughter-in-law’s health better than anyone, and while she might be sowhat frail, she certainly was not suffering from any heart disease. There must be so trickery at play here. Seeing his daughter-in-law’s complexion suddenly improve a lot and feeling her pinch at his waist, he understood even more.
Performing a play required going all out—despite Han Yu’s arrival signifying her safety, Su Wenyue continued to act, not revealing any flaws. This was because Su Wenyue still had other concerns and did not want to expose herself just yet.
