Tiffany's heart was not quite ready, even though she desperately wanted to believe what she had just said. She could not have imagined that soone would play a practical joke on her like that, and then the hope she had was gone in an instant.

She leaned against the chair in front of the study table, frowning as she looked at the note.

"I will find you soon," she said, scowling at the note before being cut off by a noise outside her room.

Tiffany's eyes darkened, and she quickly put everything aside, ready to chastise the person she thought was Jacob, and ran out of her room.

"After all this ti, how dare you show up?" Her words died when she realized it wasn't her father but Susan, who returned ho after work.

Susan attempted to clean up the ss she thought Jacob had made; she knew how easily he could lose his temper, and the way he would destroy everything in the house told her he was really angry with her.

"Where is your father?" Ignoring her words, Susan asked as she carried on gathering the items.

With a blink, Tiffany erged from her reverie and cleared her throat. "I don't know. He has not been seen in a while," she retorted.

With a nod, Susan tidied up the house, throwing everything in the trash.

"Did you eat anything?" Susan asked as she moved in the direction of the kitchen.

Tiffany shook her head.

Susan looked so relaxed, which surprised Tiffany, but was she not always like this?

"I assu you know why Dad created this ss." Tiffany asked, taking in Susan's calm deanor.

Before she left, everything was okay, but when she ca back, the whole living room was in disarray. She knew very well that it had to do with her.

Susan paused for a mont and sighed.

"I don't know anything," she lied, hiding the truth from Tiffany.

Susan realized that she could not rely on Tiffany for information about Eveline or the Millers.

She had already seen the depth of her hatred for Eveline, and things would only get worse if she found out why her father lost it all the last ti, destroying everything in his path.

Tiffany narrowed her eyes and studied her mother as she went back to work.

"If you say so," she shrugged and started to walk away, but Susan stopped her.

"How long have you been fond of Gabriel?"

Tiffany paused, her mother's words making her eyes gloomy.

"Quite so ti," she replied bluntly.

"Then you must know that Eveline also likes him?" she asked, now fully turning to look at her.

Tiffany clenched her jaw and said, "Yes," with a hint of rage coursing through her.

"Will you drop the idea of pursuing Gabriel if I tell you that we have been in debt to her family for a long ti?" Susan asked, looking intently at her daughter and taking in the eerie atmosphere around her.

"No!" she exclaid, turning to face her mother with an irate eyes.

"Why? Why don't you understand that her family has done a lot for us? This house, this job everything is given by them. Then why don't you be grateful of them and stop this madness. Tiffany I told you there won't be any outco for your obsession. You won't get anything" Susan warned stating the fact.

Susan felt guilty every ti she looked at Eveline. She was nothing but a pure soul who cared for everyone and no matter what Tiffany felt, she wouldn't make sure to stop her from going any further.

Susan, who continues to be more concerned about Eveline than her daughter, gave Tiffany a stern look. However it didn't waver her determination.

She stepped dangerously nearer to her and said, "I will never give up on Gabriel, no matter what you say, and if you keep annoying , I will forget you are my mother."

Susan experienced a shiver down her spine as Tiffany's nacing gaze continued to pierce her.

"I have been lenient of her all these while, but if you try to cause trouble, Mom, I will make sure to harm Eveline, and you will be the one accountable," Tiffany firmly threatened, giving Susan no opportunity to defend herself.

Susan stood still, her mind freezing with her chilling words and she stuttered," You won't do anything"

Tiffany smirked and crossed her hand, staring Susan with mockery," You don't know Mom. I can do everything that you won't even imagine. So just do as I say and stay out of my life"

Tiffany was tired of being nice and didn't care if people ca across her real face. She had been good to her mother because she wanted to, but if she happens to create hurdles in her life then she would turn against her too.

Giving a final warning, Tiffany turned and returned to her room leaving Susan utterly shocked.

anwhile inside her room Eveline looked through her computer screen going through the CCTV footage of the Mansion.

She saw how that man tried to force Susan, however her father reached the right ti and shoved the man out of the gates throwing money at him.

Jonathan had always been a calm person but watching him getting furious was new to Eveline. But then she recalled how furious he was when he found that Gabriel had taken away her virginity and he refused to take the bla.

Jonathan was so furious that he didn't mind going against his best friend.

Eveline sighed recalling her past and closed the laptop.

She wondered why Jacob was being forceful towards Eveline when he had been friends with her father since a long ti.

"No wonder why Tiffany is like this," she muttered, and then an idea dawned on her.

She made her way swiftly over to her study table and took out a note. She then wrote sothing on it with a pen and folded it into a square.

"By now, Tiffany must be experiencing anxiety at the prospect of soone threatening to reveal the truth. But don't worry, she won't find the person so soon"

Eveline's eyes sparkle sinisterly as she rembers hiding the note in her desk to frighten her. Her plan was successful, as Tiffany quickly left the college to seek out Gracey, whom she believed to be the person of interest.
