"Is that true? I thought it had been ages since I heard your voice."
Sherlyn squird at his crafty words and growled in response. "Don't go there Kaden, seriously I am not used to you being so cheeky after you asked out"
Holding the phone close to her ear, she made her way to the closet.
"I thought girls liked it," Kaden said, perplexed as to why Sherlyn had a different opinion.
"Not , so please stop doing that and just be yourself. I prefer you that way," she said, imdiately sliding into one of her bodycon dresses.
"Okay..."
Sherlyn smiled as they continued their conversation.
"By the way, I wanted to take you to your clinic. But only if you agree."
Sherlyn paused as soon as she heard him. "But I won't be going to the clinic today" she asserted.
"Why, what happened?" Kaden anticipated them to spend so ti together before going to their various jobs. But now she said she wasn't going to work which only piqued his worries.
Since she accepted to date him, Kaden has wanted to spend the majority of his ti with Sherlyn. It was new to him, but knowing how much he missed denial after all these years, he couldn't say no.
"I have a patient visiting at ho. She requested the arrangent because she could not visit the clinic too often, so I accepted and invited her to my ho. "I have an office here, by the way," Sherlyn reasoned.
While she waited for his reaction, the doorbell rang.
"I believe she is here," she said quietly, making her approach to the door.
"Okay, call when you're free." "Let's go sowhere," he added before hanging up.
Sherlyn drew back the phone and peered at the digital screen, her professional deanor settling in as she answered the door.
"Good morning, Mrs. Erna. Please co inside. Sherlyn cordially invited Erna.
Since Eveline beca doubtful of her, Erna had been attempting to contact Sherlyn in order to persuade her to make a minor modification in her schedule, but after Jonathan revealed the na of the doctor he consulted last night, she insisted on visiting her ho office instead.
"I'm sorry for the bother, doctor. But I had no other choice," Erna apologized as they got halfway inside the living room.
"No, that is completely alright. At the very least, this will allow us to stick to our tiline. Sherlyn brushed over her apology, relieving Erna's anxiety, and shortly invited her to proceed to her office.
Erna was just being cautious since she didn't want Jonathan to hear about her from Sherlyn. So she decided to have her session at ho rather than in the clinic.
Soon the session began, with Sherlyn taking care to make Erna feel at ease in the surroundings.
Erna showed no signs of discomfort during their prior session, which was a benefit given that she had previously suffered from stage one depression as a result of her dical condition.
Fortunately, she repaired it over ti, but she still wanted to be certain before delving deeper down her mory lane.
Erna closed her eyes, yielding to the calm, her thoughts drifting back to when she was eighteen.
A grin appeared on her lips as she recalled the ti she first discovered she had feelings for Jonathan.
Sherlyn felt sothing familiar when she clicked on, but she ignored her doubts and focused on the session.

"Here, please have so water," Sherlyn said, passing the glass to Erna and returning to her seat.
"I'm sorry, I didn't an to interrupt the session in this way." Erna was emotionally exhausted, so Sherlyn had to end the session unexpectedly.
Erna was experiencing the sa ntal agony she had while disguising her affections for Jonathan, and it was becoming unbearable to pretend in front of everyone.
No one knew how much Erna sobbed every night because she couldn't bring herself to express her affections to Jonathan, and when she did, he refused, causing her pain. She believed it was an unrequited love and proceeded to bla her fate by expressing her anguish.
"Are you feeling better now?" Sherlyn inquired as she closely observed Erna nod in response.
"That's OK, but for the ti being, we have to end here. We can't continue if the patient isn't ntally prepared." Sherlyn stated, attentively looking at Erna.
She could sense that Erna was emotionally exhausted from the session, and that extending it was pointless. So she decided to reschedule the continuation until the next session.
Erna departed Sherlyn's apartnt after discussing a few more topics.
Sherlyn had never inquired into her patients' personal life, but this session with Erna aroused a lot of questions in her mind. They felt familiar, but she wasn't sure.
"Why does her story sound similar to Mr. Jonathan Miller's?" she said, but her thoughts were quickly interrupted by a phone call.
Her assistant recomnded that she visit the clinic when a patient arrived.
Sherlyn rejected all of her thoughts and got her suitcase and keys, quickly left the house and driving to the clinic.

Kaden scanned the text ssage he received from Sherlyn notifying him of the change in her schedule. He was in the middle of typing a response when Luke sighed, frustrated.
"How is this even possible?" he yelled, slamming his hand on the table and staring angrily at the screen.
Kaden finished his conversation and glanced at Luke curiously."What happened?" he inquired.
Luke glared angrily at Kaden and said, "Look it for yourself."
Kaden gave Luke a doubtful look before slowly darting his gaze to the television. The second he read the information, his eyes widened with awareness.
He grabbed his phone and called Gabriel right away.
"I want to et you and Eveline," he stated after Gabriel answered the phone.
They were all mistaken about Leonard, and whatever they heard, he felt compelled to tell them first.

Inside the restaurant, Kaden sat in the chair, with Gabriel and Eveline taking seats across from him. Their curious eyes were fixed on Kaden, expecting him to speak and break the silence.
"We were tricked," Kaden stated, prompting Eveline and Gabriel to frown.
"We thought Lenoard had changed his identity, but that was not the case. He does have a brother nad Bernard, and an identical twin," he revealed, leaving the two completely stunned.
