anwhile, on the balcony, Eveline congratulated Ella on formally joining the family.
"I was astonished to find that they were already aware of what was going on between and Stefan. Yet they never addressed in person," Ella replied, her tone filled with gratitude to Stefan's parents.
"Have not I previously warned you? The day Aunt Nancy asked about brother Stefan's girlfriend, I knew she had discovered sothing crucial about you; otherwise, she wouldn't have co and asked about it."
Ella humd and showed her gratitude to Eveline. Without her warning, she would not have had the courage to confront Stefan's parents. She knew it the day Nancy stopped her to talk in Marcus' cabin.
Sothing about her look made her feel safe near Stefan, and she had been attentive to her words when praising him.
"How about we catch up tonight?" Ella inquired, "There is so much I want to talk about," and Eveline nodded quickly.
She wanted a break from everything going on in her life, and it had been a long ti since she had seen her pals. So she gave in without hesitation, and after a few minutes of conversation, they concluded the call and Eveline returned to her office.
"We shall go to Miss Ella's residence this evening. She invited us to dinner," Eveline added.
"Okay," Gabriel humd, his gaze firmly fixed on the laptop screen.
"What are you reading so seriously?" Eveline said, approaching his side.
Circling her arm around the chair's headrest, she lowered her gaze to the screen.
"Heaven hopes. Isn't this the property Dad intended to sell? However, he appears to have changed his mind. He's not going to sell it anymore," Eveline stated casually.
"Why? What caused him to change his mind? Gabriel asked. Stefan just inquired about the property, and she inford him that it had never been sold.
"I'm not sure why he changed his mind. I rely heard him tell Uncle Richard that he does not feel the need to sell Heaven's hopes. Instead, he is focusing on turning the space into a family restaurant."
Gabriel nodded, soaking in all the information she offered him.
"But why are you suddenly fascinated by Heaven's hopes?" She inquired, giving him a puzzled look.
Gabriel swung his chair slightly and grabbed Eveline by the arm, urging her to sit on his lap.Eveline was stunned, but she didn't yell; understanding the serious expression on his face, she rested softly on his lap. She could tell he had sothing important to tell her; otherwise, why would he go into an old tavern that had been closed for years?
"Jedrick owned Heaven Hopes. It was one of your grandfather's properties that your father intended to sell," he explained, surprising Eveline by surprise.
"But what crucial details do we acquire from that location? Jedrick just owns it, that's all," she responded, unable to recall any important specifics regarding the location.
"We may not find any useful information about that location, but there is one person who can help us understand the kind of man Jedrick can be," Gabriel said, prompting Eveline to twist her head in surprise.
"Who?" she inquired as he tightened his grip on her waist and took a deep breath. "It's Mrs. Stewart, Ella's mother," he continued, leaving her confused.
"Mrs. Stewart, how co she knows-"
"She worked there back then and I am sure through her we can get so information regarding the Miller's or say, Jedrick."
Ella creased her brow and asked, "Does Miss Ella know about this?"
"No, but Stefan will tell her," he responded, and she gave him a puzzled look.
Gabriel told her everything, but the most essential information had yet to be revealed.
"And how does Brother Stefan know about this?" she inquired, and Gabriel took another long breath, telling her everything that had transpired with Ella and how it had co to light.
"So much happened, but he never told anything. That is not fair. Brother Stefan was always there for and Miss Ella, no matter how much she suffered, and she never showed it on her face. She is admirable." Eveline couldn't contain her feelings.
She had never imagined Ella going through so much since she was a child, but she had to admit that she was a brave lady who dared to combat her demons and refused to let them defeat her innocence.
"She's just like you. And I'm delighted we have such strong ladies in our life," Gabriel replied, keeping his mother in mind as well.

Back at the hotel, Kaden entered the staff changing room, his thoughts drifting to his ti inside the room and the elderly lady he encountered.
For a brief while, he thought he had seen her before but couldn't recall where; however, one thing he did feel was disappointnt because he had not t his own expectations. But then he beca inquisitive about who was in that room and why he wasn't permitted to enter.
Kaden was told to clean the entire room, but the old lady stopped him. He was perplexed as to why she seed so irritated and even reprimanded him, but he couldn't contradict her words. But then he noticed a nurse go out of the sa room, which sparked his curiosity about who she had been treating inside.
Jonathan wasn't there, but Kaden was certain he was going to remain for a long ti, and Eveline had no idea.
Kaden leaned against the sink counter and switched on the tap, cupping a handful of water in his hand before washing his face. He had been hiding his appearance with a mustache, and a few more modifications in appearance had kept everyone from recognizing him.
After he had freshened up, he reappeared wearing his disguise before departing the area. His shift had ended, but he was allowed to remain in the staff quarters.
After arriving inside, the first thing he did was reach out to Eveline and tell her what his father was up to. He had previously abandoned his prior contact and was now using a new one.
He took out his phone, entered the ssage box, and typed a ssage to Eveline, this ti making sure she knew who he was.
"I hope we et soon, Eveline."
