My air hose, which was no longer in my mouth, was blowing bubbles all around , increasing my panic since I could no longer see anything that was going on in front of my face. My mouth was open in a silent scream, but instead of noise coming out, salty water rushed in instead, causing my stomach and lungs to fill up.
I wanted to puke; I wanted I scream; I needed to breathe.
Realizing that I was fucked no matter what I did, I quickly blinked out of the ocean and back into my space. Once again, I was sprawled out in a field, puking up all the water in my stomach. I went on all fours, trying to make it easier to expel everything inside of .
I was exhausted, and more than a little worried about secondary drowning. However, my n were still in that water, and as much as they might be frozen in ti, I didn't want to leave them there a second longer than needed. I stumbled to my feet, replaced my air tank just like Wang Chao had shown , and reinserted my hose into my mouth. I frantically searched for the underwater lights that I accidentally took simply because it was in the scuba shop.
I attached two of the circular lights to my vest and turned one on. I was not expecting the water to be so dark where I was, and I think that was part of my problem. Taking a few deep breaths of the compressed air and ignoring the burning feeling in my chest, I blinked myself back into the real world.
I could see things much better thanks to the lack of bubbles and the bright light coming from my vest. I was still in the sa position with my ankle being held in a death grip by the zombie as Chen Zi Han had a hand on the back of the zombie's neck, trying to suck out the vitality from it.
Liu Yu Zeng was gripping my hand but had narrowed his eyes on the zombie in front of us. I saw his other hand stretched out, and I knew that he was trying to poison the thing, but it wasn't working the sa way that it did on land.
He turned to look at briefly, his eyes widened as he took note of the lack of bubbles and the light. Nodding his head in understanding, he flashed a smile before turning his attention back to the fight in front of us.
Well, maybe fight wasn't the right word as it was not like any 'fight' I had ever seen. The four of us were moving in slow motion, the boys trying to use their superpowers, but the zombie continued its unhurried walk forward.
Before I panicked for a third ti, I quickly blurred my eyes to the outside world and focused on the zombie, trying to find the flickering fla.
Just like before, I quickly saw it, but this ti I noticed … differences that I had never noticed before. Like even though there was a flicking fla burning, it was surrounded by water, almost as if the water was protecting it.
Then again, there was no almost about it. I watched as the dark mist of Liu Yu Zeng's powers and the brown bubble of Chen Zi Han's power affected the water surrounding the fla, destroying it, but not even going near the fla itself.I think you should take a look at
In fact, the amount of water inside the zombie continued to refill itself every ti. The zombies on land didn't have this added layer of protection and I wonder if it was because they weren't surrounded by water like these ones were.
Taking another breath, I steadied myself. Ignoring the darting sharks that were swimming in and out of the light, I completely focused on the undead in front of . It was an abomination, sothing that needed to be sent straight into the depths of Hell, to never return.
Renewed with that conviction, I focused on the fla that I knew represented its soul. I knew I didn't need my fire, but I wanted to see if the purple fla would do anything. Sending out my strongest fla, I watched as it caused the protective water shield around the fla to evaporate, but before it could reach the zombie fla, more water rushed back in and my fla was forced to turn its attention back to the water that was trying to suppress it.
The light blue fla of the zombie continued to burn strongly, protected by the water around it.
I called back my purple fla, understanding that there was no way it would be able to kill the aquatic zombie on its own. I went to plan D.
I stared at the fla, refusing to break my concentration for a single mont, even as sothing large and heavy bumped into my physical body. I filled my lungs and watched the flas being pulled to . "Co to !" I commanded the fla in my mind. I bit down harder onto the hose, refusing to let it fall out of my mouth again.
The fla was pulled even more in my direction, but the water was still insulating it enough that the base of the fla was still rooted firmly in place.
Fine, it wanted to be like that? I called on all three of my flas and sent them into the zombie in front of and watched as they burned a line from the edge of the water all the way to the fla itself.
Instead of then going to try and evaporate all of the water in the area, it only concentrated on a single line, the water rushing against the side of my fires, trying desperately to put them out, only to be sent up in smoke as a result of its efforts.
A brown bubble appeared next to my fire on the right side, pulling the water into it before causing the water to disappear. On the other side, the black mist was trying its best to give a bit of breathing room, too, but it was less successful.
