Chapter 986: Chapter 986 I Wasn’t In The Zone Just Now Chapter 986: Chapter 986 I Wasn’t In The Zone Just Now Xiao Qi glanced at him and didn’t say much.
He had already warned Yu Fei earlier, but Yu Fei didn’t listen, so there wasn’t much he could do.
The two of them didn’t have a particularly good relationship, and he wasn’t interested in playing the nice guy.
After dinner, everyone rested for a while before resuming filming. The next scene involved Yang Xiaoxi and Yu Fei. Yang Xiaoxi burst out of the room and pounced on Yu Fei, who then kicked her away.
For the safety of the actors, Yang Xiaoxi’s clothes were padded with foam. However, her back might still receive minor friction injuries, so it was best to get the scene right in one shot, so Yang Xiaoxi would suffer less.
Honestly, for actors like them with no real groundwork, filming such a segnt was quite dangerous. Before filming started, Shen Mianmian explained the key points to Yang Xiaoxi multiple tis, urging her to nail the scene in one go.
Yang Xiaoxi was nervous inside but still managed a smile on her face, saying, “Mianmian, don’t worry! I’ll be fine.”
Cheng Feiyang saw her smiling and couldn’t help saying, “Don’t joke around, take this seriously.”
Yang Xiaoxi huffed and then began filming. She perford well and everything went smoothly, but unexpectedly, Yu Fei ssed up.
As the director finished speaking, Shen Mianmian and Cheng Feiyang rushed over to help Yang Xiaoxi up, seeing her face crumpled in pain, Shen Mianmian asked concernedly, “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine,” Yang Xiaoxi shook her head, managing a weak smile.
Cheng Feiyang, however, grew cold, casting a stern look at Yu Fei.
“Sorry, I wasn’t fully in the zone just now,” Yu Fei, ignoring Cheng Feiyang’s gaze, apologised half-heartedly to Yang Xiaoxi.
“It’s okay.”
Yang Xiaoxi, enduring the pain in her back and stomach, shook her head again.
Shen Mianmian pursed her lips, her eyes filled with worry.
Since the start of the film, Yu Fei had never ssed up, so the director couldn’t really bla him and could only say, “Yu Fei, take so ti to prepare, try to get into the feel.”
“No need,” Yu Fei shook his head, saying, “Director, I’m ready, we can continue filming.”
Upon hearing this, the director glanced at Yang Xiaoxi and asked, “Can you continue? Do you want to rest for a bit?”
“Director, I can do it.”
Although Yang Xiaoxi seed carefree, she knew to cent her place in the entertainnt industry, acting was essential. Being a newcor amid seasoned actors, if she didn’t perform well, others would look down on her and Mianmian, so she had to endure.
“Alright, let’s all prepare and shoot it once more.”
The director, still concerned, specifically reminded Yu Fei again, “Try not to ss up.”
Yu Fei nodded.
As he walked away, he brushed past Shen Mianmian. Their eyes t briefly, Shen Mianmian’s gaze was cold, even slightly warning.
Yu Fei had always looked down on Shen Mianmian and Yang Xiaoxi, sothing she had always noticed, but since Yu Fei hadn’t done anything overtly offensive, she had chosen to ignore it.
The recent mistake was clearly intentional from Yu Fei, a man deliberately making things difficult for a female actress, which she utterly despised, especially when the target was Yang Xiaoxi.
Yu Fei hadn’t expected Shen Mianmian, who usually seed cheerful, to have an aura of authority when her expression cooled. He snorted, dismissing her as he walked past.
Cheng Feiyang watched his retreating figure with a chill.
