Chapter 678: Chapter 678: Too Scheming Chapter 678: Chapter 678: Too Scheming Shen Mianmian shook her head slightly, “It’s not about you, he isn’t angry because of anything to do with you. It might be that sothing has happened in his family.”

It definitely had nothing to do with Grandpa Lu, because if Grandpa Lu were unwell, Lu Siyuan would have asked for leave.

There aren’t many people in the Lu Family, so if it wasn’t Grandpa Lu, there could only be one possibility… Lu Siyuan’s parents.

It seed like Lu Siyuan’s parents had gone out of town for work and he never ntioned them. Now, the matter that related to them was either that they had returned and sothing had happened, or they had had an accident.

Of course, Shen Mianmian hoped it was the forr.

But all these were her guesses, to get to the truth, she still had to ask Lu Siyuan himself.

“What could possibly happen in his family?” Du Xiaohui asked with a puzzled face, and as he turned his head, he saw Lu Siyuan striding over. He hurriedly took his bowl of rice and sat at the table next to him, acting like a mouse that had just seen a cat.

Lu Siyuan returned to his seat, didn’t say a word, and picked up his chopsticks to start wolfing down the rice in his bowl as if soone might snatch it away from him.

Shen Mianmian watched him but didn’t say anything either.

Until the school day ended, Lu Siyuan hadn’t said anything on his own.

It was not until they left school and saw the woman standing with Gao Changchun that Shen Mianmian confird her guess.

The woman appeared to be in her thirties, with eyes very similar to Lu Siyuan’s, and her tall, slender figure exuded efficiency.

She knew the woman in front of her must be Lu Siyuan’s mom, Lu Yun.

“Mianmian, let introduce you, this is Siyuan’s mom.” When Shen Mianmian ca out, Gao Changchun led Lu Yun over and introduced them with a smile.

“Hello, Auntie Lu,” Shen Mianmian greeted politely.

Lu Yun did not respond. She looked at Shen Mianmian with slightly furrowed brows, revealing a hint of displeasure. Clearly, she had a very bad impression of Shen Mianmian.

Shen Mianmian was very beautiful, but to Lu Yun, this beauty was not at all likable.

At such a young age, she had her son spinning around her finger, so much so that he wasn’t even willing to go to Yi Zhong anymore. What would the future hold?

She stared at Shen Mianmian who, unafraid, t her gaze directly.

The atmosphere grew sowhat awkward as Gao Changchun stood between them, the forced smile on his face growing stiff.

“There are too many people here, and it’s not right to just stand around, especially with all these students watching. If you have sothing to say, better say it quickly!”

It was getting dark, and they wouldn’t be able to leave after they finished talking; they needed to find a place to stay the night, and they certainly couldn’t keep standing here.

“Let’s find a place to talk,” Lu Yun finally broke the silence.

“The place I’m staying at isn’t far from here. If you’re willing, you can co with ,” Shen Mianmian said indifferently.

“Let’s go,” Lu Yun gestured to Shen Mianmian to lead the way.

Shen Mianmian nodded and started walking ahead, while Lu Yun, watching Shen Mianmian’s retreating figure, disliked her even more.

At such a young age, she didn’t show the slightest fear upon eting her—too calculating. How could she resemble a child at all?

If it wasn’t for Shen Mianmian’s youthful face, she would not even compare to this young girl’s presence.

No wonder her son had been completely taken in.

She had to have a serious talk with Shen Mianmian; she couldn’t let her son be ruined.

No matter what, she had to take Siyuan away, even if it ant using forceful thods. Perhaps her son wouldn’t understand now, but she was convinced that in a few years, he would appreciate her intentions.
