Chapter 666: Chapter 666 Ruan Yiqian 1 Chapter 666: Chapter 666 Ruan Yiqian 1 Shen Mianmian was a bit puzzled. How could He Nan change his expression so suddenly?

Her steps were much shorter than He Nan’s, and she trudged up the stairs behind him. When they reached the upstairs, He Nan was about to open the door, but it was pulled open from inside by a man in his late twenties. The man, handso and with a composed air, was wearing a gray coat and a plaid scarf. He was about the sa height as He Nan, but his aura was not as cold as He Nan’s.

Upon seeing He Nan, he spoke with a detached expression, “Back pretty quickly. I was planning to go out and buy so stuff, but since you’re back, never mind.”

After he said that, he swept his gaze over Shen Mianmian and then turned to walk back into the room.

He Nan followed him inside and asked, “When did you arrive?”

“You’d just left for a short while when I got here,” Ruan Yiqian sat down on the sofa and seeing sothing in He Nan’s hand, he asked, “What’s that you’re holding?”

“Her stuff.” He Nan handed the things to Shen Mianmian, signaling her to take them back to her room.

After Shen Mianmian took her belongings and put them away in her room, she ca out to make tea and pour water. Ruan Yiqian glanced at her and then, turning to He Nan who had just sat down, he said, “When did such a young girl start living here?”

“Not long ago.” He Nan obviously didn’t want to dwell too much on the topic of Shen Mianmian and responded indifferently.

“Brother Nan, why did you guys only get back now? Brother Yiqian and I went out for a walk, and we couldn’t even find a restaurant. We haven’t even had dinner yet,” Cheng Xining, who ca out of the restroom, complained.

She had never gone hungry in her life.

Hearing that they hadn’t eaten, Shen Mianmian, who had just placed the tea in front of the three, said, “I can make so food for you!”

“No need, we’ve eaten,” Ruan Yiqian glanced at Cheng Xining, seemingly sowhat displeased with her words.

Cheng Xining humd softly and said, “The noodles you cooked were not tasty at all, I didn’t even eat my fill.”

“If you’re not full, you can eat more later,” Ruan Yiqian clearly didn’t want to spoil her, yet his tone bore no bla. In the family, there were only males, with just two females in total, his younger sister and Cheng Xining. It was a pity, though, that his sister had been lost since she was little and they hadn’t been able to find her, so naturally, everyone doted on the only girl they had.

“Brother Yiqian, you don’t care about anymore,” Cheng Xining said coquettishly, feigning grievance.

“You ran off here without a word, do you have any idea how worried everyone at ho has been?”

“I didn’t run around aimlessly; I just ca to see Brother Nan. He’s here all by himself for the New Year, it must be so lonely!” Cheng Xining argued righteously.

Ruan Yiqian glared at her, and Cheng Xining pouted, “Okay, I know I was wrong.”

Hearing this, Ruan Yiqian then turned to He Nan, “These past few days, I’ve caused you trouble.”

“Keep an eye on your sister in the future. If there’s a next ti, I will only be able to send her to a hotel,” He Nan warned.

Ruan Yiqian: “…”

Knowing He Nan’s temperant, Ruan Yiqian cleared his throat and changed the subject, “The business here is almost arranged, right? Li Yue should be able to handle it alone, when do you plan to return to Beijing?”

Shen Mianmian, who had just taken a seat next to Cheng Xining, perked up at these words. Was Brother He planning to return to Beijing?

In a previous life, Brother He seed to have returned to Beijing at around this ti too, right?
