He Nan pulled back the blanket on the bed and wiped the droplets off Shen Mianmian’s hair. Slling his scent, Shen Mianmian felt a sense of serene bliss.
She looked up at He Nan with a smile, “Starting from tomorrow, we will officially be husband and wife, Mr. He. I’m looking forward to learning from you for the rest of our lives.”
He Nan lowered his eyes to look at her, Shen Mianmian’s face flushed and cute from the shower, looking especially adorable like a ripe, red apple, irresistibly tempting one to take a bite, but he didn’t, instead he only raised his hand to ruffle her hair.

He Nan chuckled softly, “If you like to hear them, I’ll say them every night.”
Shen Mianmian quickly shook her head, “No, no, no, you better stay cool! If you really sweet-talk to death every day, I wouldn’t be able to handle it.” The difference would be too great.
He Nan pinched her cheek, “So you like it when I play it cool.”
“Not really,” Shen Mianmian wrapped her arms around his waist, rubbing her face against his stomach, “I like you whatever you are, as long as it’s you, it’s fine.”

To be honest, Shen Mianmian hadn’t planned on having a second child so soon, but neither she nor He Nan had taken any precautions, sharing the sa idea of wanting another child, just leaving it to fate. If it happened, they would have the child, but neither thought it would co so soon.
“If you’re pregnant, then we’ll have the child,” He Nan gently stroked Shen Mianmian’s cheek, speaking lowly, “I’ve asked a doctor, and he said it’s better to have children earlier as the risks increase with age.”
Both were contemplating a second child, so if she was pregnant, then they intended to keep the baby. He wouldn’t allow Shen Mianmian to do anything that might harm her.

“The day I learned you might be pregnant, I called to ask,” He Nan said.
Shen Mianmian felt her heart warm; he had thought of everything. She knew that if she was pregnant, she would definitely have the baby, but maybe because during the first pregnancy He Nan wasn’t aware and wasn’t by her side, she now felt more emotional about it.
