Sun Wukong had a Chaos Battle Body, and he looked no different from the Human Race, with his fur hidden under his clothes and his tail tied around his waist beneath his robe. He appeared just like a human, with no trace of monster qi, so the people in the tavern assud he was a human.
“Only the Demon Beast Race can enter? So, Heavenly Demon City is one of the three cities and four sects belonging to the demon clan?”
Sun Wukong was a bit surprised. The information he had gathered earlier about Heavenly Demon City did not include this detail.

Sun Wukong found it strange. How could the flow of information on the Eastern Continent be so poor that only those from Tiandou Prefecture City knew about Heavenly Demon City’s demon clan affiliation? Were the intelligence capabilities of other sects and forces that weak?
“It’s simple. Anyone who enters Tiandou Prefecture City passes through a barrier that plants a rune in them, preventing them from revealing any information about Heavenly Demon City. If they try, their ridians will reverse, and their body will explode and die the mont they open their mouth!”

In other words, the silencing rune of Tiandou Prefecture City was ineffective on him!

Getting a map was easy. Sun Wukong bought one with so primordial crystal coins. However, when he checked it, his brows furrowed. To enter Heavenly Demon City, he had to pass straight through the Tiandu Great Forest, traverse the Gloomy Canyon and Sorrow Swamp, both marked as places of near-certain death.
“If Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor and Nüwa Mother could enter, so can I, Sun Wukong. There’s nothing to fear!”
The unease was fleeting; Sun Wukong quickly regained his confidence. Although Heavenly Demon City was mysterious, it still maintained so contact with the outside world as one of the seven major forces of the Eastern Continent. The demon clan of Heavenly Demon City also had to pass through the Tiandu Great Forest. If others could do it, so could he!
As for the near-certain death zones, Sun Wukong dismissed these as scare tactics for the timid. Even if real danger lurked, he would overco it. Hadn’t he faced countless perils on his journey thus far?

Upon entering the Tiandu Great Forest, the sky darkened abruptly, as if day had turned to night in an instant.
Of course, it wasn’t actual night. The dense trees of the forest blocked out most of the sunlight, making it appear dim. If it were night, the forest would be even brighter due to the various luminescent plants on the ground.
Besides the light, the Heaven and Earth Primordial Qi within the Tiandu Great Forest was much richer than outside. Sun Wukong noticed this imdiately upon entering, no wonder the demon clan chose to establish Heavenly Demon City deep within the forest. This place had natural advantages!
