Guanyin Bodhisattva continued with a cold laugh, “Samantabhadra, do you really think the Buddha just wanted us to deliver a ssage? This is clearly a test. Can’t you see it?”

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva wasn’t a fool. Guanyin Bodhisattva said gravely, “Didn’t the Buddha ask us to deliver the ssage? We’ll just calmly deliver it. We won’t look at anything else, won’t listen to anything else, and imdiately return to the Spiritual Mountain after delivering it, then retreat into our Cave Heaven to cultivate without interfering in anything!”

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva nodded repeatedly, looking at Guanyin Bodhisattva with newfound respect. Guanyin was indeed ticulous in thought—it was no wonder she had early on spotted the extraordinariness of Sun Wukong and had established a relationship with Flower-Fruit Mountain. If only he had Guanyin’s foresight, he wouldn’t be so passive now!
Without further ado, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva continued to travel with Guanyin Bodhisattva through the clouds towards the Heavenly Court.
At Flower-Fruit Mountain, within the Water Curtain Cave Heaven.
“Teacher, was the figure just now above the firmant the Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor?”
When the figure of the Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor appeared in the firmant to issue orders, Sun Wukong had just returned to Flower-Fruit Mountain. Over the years, he had cooperated closely with the arrangents of Leng Xuan and others to spread the teachings of the Demon Cult, significantly expanding the influence of Flower-Fruit Mountain. “So you’re saying that by opening heaven, one can control a part of the world?”

Puti Patriarch nodded, “Being able to open heaven and connect the existing world to the main world of the Three Thousand Great Daos allows one to control the Heavenly Dao of the existing world and stabilize it. However, from the Ancient Prival till now, only the Great God Pangu and the teacher have had this ability. Great God Pangu was too impatient when opening heaven; he forced the process and ultimately could not withstand the trendous backlash of opening heaven and perished. Therefore, Wukong, do not attempt to open heaven until you have sufficient strength!”
“Master, rest assured, I was just asking! My main task now is to sever the Third Corpse, quickly prove the Tao and beco a saint. Thinking too much about other things won’t help!”
Sun Wukong nodded, paused for a mont, and then asked, “Master, I always feel that the decree from Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor is in favor of and extrely beneficial for the whole Flower-Fruit Mountain. Is this just my illusion?”
“This decree indeed benefits Flower-Fruit Mountain!”
Puti Patriarch affird, “The third cosmic catastrophe will last six hundred years, and within the first five hundred years, no power greater than that of a saint level is allowed to erge in the Three Realms. It is clearly biased towards Flower-Fruit Mountain! With this decree, Flower-Fruit Mountain will have five hundred years of peace and ti for developnt.”
“That’s weird. I don’t even know Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor, so why would he suddenly appear and issue such an order?”
Sun Wukong’s brow furrowed slightly. There is no unprovoked love in this world. It was clear that the decree from Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor was partial, aiding Flower-Fruit Mountain. More precisely, it was favoring him. Yet, Sun Wukong and Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor had never t face to face. Why would Hong Jun Daoist Ancestor help his Flower-Fruit Mountain instead of the orthodox Taoist Sect’s Heavenly Court? It was truly puzzling!
“Well, I don’t know either. The teacher’s thoughts have always been profound and unpredictable, not sothing we can fathom!”
Puti Patriarch was stumped by the question and after a long thought, he could only smile wryly and shake his head, “Regardless, Flower-Fruit Mountain is the beneficiary now. We should take advantage of these five hundred years to enhance our cultivation strength, expand our power, and gather more power of faith, striving to rebuild the Demon Clan’s Heavenly Court within these five hundred years. Then, even if a holy war arrives, we can face it without fear!”
“Master makes a good point!”
Sun Wukong nodded, then suddenly scratched his head looking sowhat troubled, “Master, you want to quietly continue my closed-door cultivation, but I feel it’s not much help! My realm is already stable, and I’ve been trying to sever the Third Corpse – Corpse of Desire, but without much success. I guess staying in the Heaven-Piercing Tower any longer will be the sa. Isn’t there any way to quickly enhance my cultivation?”
“Cultivation is like rowing upstream; there’s no shortcut. It’s all about persistence!”
Puti Patriarch shook his head, then his tone shifted slightly, “However, it’s not entirely impossible! There is one place that should be able to help accelerate your cultivation, allow you to quickly sever the Third Corpse – Corpse of Desire, and maybe even aid in uniting with the Dao!”
“Where is that?”
“It’s the Borderlands, a place you have visited before!”
