A dark line appeared on the horizon of the Demon Beast Continent, stretching from east to west, rapidly approaching the location of the Boundary Bridge. The faces of the Demon Race soldiers changed, as the dark line turned out to be composed of hordes of Demonic Beasts!

“Quick, prepare for battle! Activate the barrier with all your might, we must hold them back, we can’t let the Beast Tide get through!”

After a brief mont of shock, the Demon Race soldiers all jumped up like rabbits with their tails on fire, those activating the barrier did so, those reporting did so, and those forming up did so. Their faces were all written with tension; they had never seen such a situation before. What on earth did these Demonic Beasts from the Demon Beast Continent want by launching such a massive Beast Tide without any warning?
Could they possibly want to go to full-scale war with the Demon Race? Had these Demonic Beasts gone mad?
The Beast Tide approached rapidly, and the dark line pushed forward from the horizon. Soon, it arrived right at the forefront. Looking across, the eyes t a teeming mass of ferocious Demonic Beasts, each filled with madness, and with overwhelming montum, they crashed into the barrier at the Boundary Bridge.
Boom boom boom boom!
Intense collision sounds, like firecrackers, continuously erupted at the Boundary Bridge. Those at the forefront were Low Rank Demonic Beasts, their Cultivation at most at the Demon General Level. With low intelligence and practically devoid of Divine Powers Spell, they relied entirely on their strong physical bodies for combat, continuously ramming into the barrier. They were repelled by the barrier’s massive rebound force, their limbs splintered, howling and rolling as they fell into the abyss beside. But they were imdiately replaced by other Demonic Beasts that continued to launch attacks on the barrier.
“Take action! Hold them back! Don’t let them attack the barrier anymore!”
“Group one prepare, Demon Energy Cannons, fire!”

The faces of the Demon Race’s Boundary Bridge guards were sowhat pale. For the many years they had been stationed here, they had never witnessed such a scene. In the past, it was their Demon Race who would cross the Boundary Bridge to attack the Demon Beast Continent; the Demonic Beasts would only launch a counterattack and halt at the bridge’s edge. Such an event as today was unprecedented!
Fighting back the fear in their hearts, the Demon Race guards, under the command of their leaders, took action, unleashing their attacks on the Demonic Beasts assaulting the barrier. Rows of Demon Energy Cannons were rolled out—weapons of war that could concentrate Demon Energy. Developed through years of the Demon Race’s dedication, they were made specifically to contend with Demonic Beasts, able to store the Demon Primordial Force from Low Rank mbers of the Demon Race, condensing it into Demon Energy Light Spheres and then launching them from the cannon’s muzzle to bombard the enemy, with trendous force.
However, these Demon Energy Cannons had never been used since their developnt; they were only tested occasionally for their power, so a true combat situation like this was indeed their first ti.
Teams of the Demon Race guards took turns channeling their Demon Primordial Force into the Energy Gathering Crystal Stones of the Demon Energy Cannons. The barrels of the cannons began to light up, charging rapidly until reaching their peak. Following the commands of each team’s captain, they fired simultaneously, shooting out giant Demon Energy Light Spheres from the barrels towards the Demonic Beasts on the other side of the bridge, blasting ruthlessly into their midst.
The barrier between the Demonic Realm and the Demon Beast Continent did not hinder the Demon Energy Light Spheres fired by these cannons, allowing them to pass through and hit the beast swarm hard. Bright light accompanied by a terrifying shockwave spread out in all directions, every Demonic Beast caught in the bright light scread as their bodies shattered and they vanished piece by piece. However, they were imdiately replaced by other Demonic Beasts that filled the gaps, and sphere after sphere of Demon Energy hamred into the beast swarm. While the carnage seed enormous, against a countlessly vast and imasurable swarm of Demonic Beasts, it was like trying to extinguish a cartload of burning wood with a cup of water—only serving to slightly slow down the swarm’s assault on the barrier and proving mostly ineffective!
