Tyranitar let out another earth-shattering roar, its massive arms glowing once again with raw Aura. Then, It slamd its fists into the ground.
BAM!!!
The entire Tower of Tricks shuddered under the force. Then— Another punch. And another. And another.
BAM!!!BAM!!!BAM!!!
The very foundations of the prison began to crack. The walls split apart. The ceiling trembled, sending chunks of stone tumbling down into the lower levels. The remaining prisoners, still attempting to flee, scread as the ground beneath them collapsed.
Throughout the entire facility, candidates felt the tremors. A bald ninja, gripping onto a stone pillar, shouted— "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!"
Other candidates were scrambling for balance, so stumbling to the ground as the earth beneath them shook violently. "IS THIS A DAMN EARTHQUAKE?!"
No. It was worse than an earthquake. Because this destruction wasn’t natural. It was coming from a single man— And his monstrous beast. Inside the surveillance room, Lippo was hyperventilating. He had lost control. This wasn't part of the plan. Larry was never supposed to go this far. "This is bad," Lippo whispered, his voice cracking. He reached for the ergency override panel, his hands shaking uncontrollably. "I need to stop this. If I don’t—"
BOOM.
A final, devastating punch sent a massive shockwave through the entire tower, And in that mont The monitor screens inside Lippo’s control room all went black. Complete shutdown.
As the dust settled, Larry exhaled slowly. He turned back toward the others, and casually cracked his neck. "Well," he said, hands in his pockets. "That should teach him not to ss with the exam." He shot a glance at the remaining prisoners, who were too scared to even breathe. "Let’s move on." He smirked.

"Click, click, click." Illumi ’s footsteps echoed through the dimly lit corridor. The oppressive atmosphere made him pause, shaking his head slightly. Sothing had clearly happened during the Hunter Exam—sothing he wasn’t aware of. following the Zoldyck family’s principles, the best option now was to leave imdiately.
anwhile Lippo felt like his throat had been clamped shut as he stared at the monitor, eyes locked on Tyranitar’s rampage. He couldn’t utter a single word. Ti passed in an agonizing blur until, at last, Tyranitar's relentless destruction ca to a halt. The thunderous crashes that had been shaking the entire tower suddenly ceased.
An eerie silence fell over the venue. Everyone knew what that ant. The monstrous beast had torn through nearly the entire Tower of Trickery from top to bottom. Then, a deafening roar shattered the silence. "ROOOAAARRR!!"
This was no re tremor. If the previous destruction had made so candidates believe it was just an earthquake, the primal, guttural roar that followed left no doubt.
A chill ran down their spines. Countless examinees froze in terror. Standing at what remained of the challenge platform, Larry lowered his gaze, staring down at the aftermath. There, at the bottom of the wreckage, Tyranitar stood proudly, its massive form towering over the ruins. For soone like Lippo—who relied on sches and elaborate traps—this was the ultimate insult. His carefully designed chanisms had been completely ignored.
Instead of playing along, Larry had simply smashed through everything with brute force. Lippo’s traps, which had taken him years to refine, had been obliterated in monts. The realization made his stomach churn. Regret flooded his mind. Why had he provoked Larry? If he had escalated things even further—if he had done sothing truly reckless—Tyranitar’s fists wouldn’t have been slamming into the tower. They would have crushed his skull instead.
At this mont, Lippo felt sothing far worse than fear. He felt utter helplessness. When Kurapika and the others arrived at the bottom, the broadcast announced their rankings right after Larry. They had reached this stage twenty minutes earlier than in the original tiline.
Previously, they had wasted ti waiting for Tonpa to gather five people. Because of that, they had barely made it in ti. But with Larry present, there was no wasted ti. Not only that, Tyranitar’s destruction had cleared out countless traps, making their path much easier.
By now, Larry had already recalled Tyranitar. He leaned against the wall, his expression calm and composed. Leorio stood frozen in place, his legs trembling uncontrollably. Cold sweat dripped down his face. He had always heard that Larry was strong. But this? This was beyond comprehension.
Leorio had no knowledge of Nen yet, so to him, Larry was a monster. Summoning a giant beast out of thin air and punching a hole through an entire tower? If soone had told him this was possible before today, he would have laughed in their face. But now… Now he had witnessed it with his own eyes. And he still couldn’t believe it.
Gon, being the curious and fearless type, instinctively wanted to approach Larry. He was dying to ask how he had done it. Before he could move, Killua grabbed his arm. “Don’t.” Killua had seen through it. Larry’s hidden strength was too overwhelming. It was best not to approach him carelessly.
Among the group, only Kurapika walked toward Larry. His gaze was sharp, filled with countless questions. ‘What was that massive dog? That terrifying beast? Where did Larry disappear to just now?’ More importantly… ‘How did he do it?’
Kurapika’s instincts scread at him. ‘This man had the answers he needed.’ If there was a way to bring justice to his people, it was standing right in front of him.
Larry t his gaze and narrowed his eyes slightly before smiling. ‘The boy couldn’t hold back after all.’ The Scarlet Eyes of the Kurta Clan were sothing many people would kill for. He had seen two of the “Seven Beauties of the World” already. If he counted Pyorn’s photo, that made three. They were indeed beautiful. But unlike Water Jade or White Fire, these weren’t gemstones. They were body parts.
Larry found it sickening to even think about those collectors who stored the Scarlet Eyes in jars just to admire them. He would never understand that kind of obsession. Not that it mattered. For now, there was sothing far more important. “I know what you want to ask,” Larry said calmly. “You’ll find the answers soon enough—after you pass the Hunter Exam.” Kurapika frowned, but before he could ask anything else, Larry continued. “But more importantly…” He leaned in slightly. “I know what you really want.” Kurapika stiffened. A chilling sensation crept up his spine. Larry’s voice was low, deliberate, almost hypnotic. “Let’s make a deal.” Kurapika’s breath hitched. “A deal… about spiders.”
For a mont, there was nothing. No sound. No movent. Then— Kurapika’s eyes turned red instantly. His Scarlet Eyes, known as one of the seven greatest beauties in the world, burned like fire. Larry’s words had shaken him to his core.
‘A deal about the Phantom Troupe?
The very monsters who had slaughtered his people?’
It was as if the devil himself was whispering into his ear. His heart pounded violently. ‘Could this be real?’ He clenched his fists, trying to control the storm inside him. This could change everything.
When Kurapika returned to the group, Gon and the others imdiately noticed sothing was off. His expression was… different. Like he had just made a life-altering decision. Like sothing had snapped into place. Leorio, sensing the tension, asked, “What did you guys talk about?”
