As they were about to leave, Mr. ng earnestly said, "I’ve prepared a room for you upstairs. Do you want to stay at ho tonight?"

Mr. ng looked hopeful.

Standing beside him, ng Jin and Mo Xiaolin didn’t speak, but the subtle anticipation in their eyes showed their thoughts.

Sotis ng Jin and Mo Xiaolin would co back and stay for a while, fulfilling their duties as the younger generation to spend ti with Mr. ng.

Tang Yue stood there, not speaking. In the past, there wouldn’t have been any problem, but since she beca pregnant, she often needs to get up at night. At ho, there’s a bathroom next to their room, making it very convenient.

But at the ng family ho, getting up at night is not as convenient. Since becoming pregnant, she also beca particular about beds, and staying here would definitely disrupt her rest.

"No need." Si Yu, supporting Tang Yue, gently refused, saying, "Xiao Yue is pregnant, and it’s inconvenient upstairs."

"Right, right, I didn’t consider that," Mr. ng nodded repeatedly, with a hint of disappointnt in his eyes, though he didn’t show it.

"Dad, no need to see us off. I’m driving ho today and will drive to pick you up to go to the company tomorrow morning," Si Yu said, already helping Tang Yue out the door.

"Drive slowly, don’t jolt Xiao Yue," ng Jin reminded.

"Understood." Si Yu nodded. Even without ng Jin’s reminder, he wouldn’t drive fast.

"Co back often if you can." Mr. ng, sowhat reluctant, escorted them all the way to the car. Leaning on his cane, his steps were a bit unsteady, but he insisted on walking them to the car. Under the dim light, Mr. ng’s eyes were slightly red.

Despite what he said, Mr. ng knew well that until the child was born, they probably wouldn’t visit the ng ho again.

"We will." Tang Yue, looking back at Mr. ng through the car door, felt a pang in her heart.

An elderly man, with such deep affection and concerns for his grandchildren, had feelings that were undeniably correct in theory.

"This is your ho. Co whenever you want," Mr. ng implored, holding onto even the slightest hope.

His voice, filled with age, and his reddened eyes, were full of reluctance.

Tang Yue’s heart ached to the point of bursting; she couldn’t help but say, "Grandpa ng, once the children are born, you’re welco to co see them. I think the kids would love to et their great-grandfather."

"Really?" Mr. ng’s eyes imdiately brightened.

After Tang Yue and Si Yu left, Mr. ng excitedly said, "We should install a bathroom upstairs, and once the kids are born, they can’t share a room. We might as well renovate the upstairs now."

Previously, Mr. ng had prepared their room without considering adding a bathroom or leaving space for the children’s room.

Now, seeing Tang Yue’s prominently pregnant belly, it dawned on him that the two children were indeed about to be born.

"Dad." Mo Xiaolin wanted to say sothing, but Mr. ng didn’t give her the chance to refuse.

Watching Mr. ng’s retreating figure, Mo Xiaolin couldn’t help but sigh, saying, "Si Yu has been stubborn since he was young."

"Xiaolin, it’s okay. Si Yu and Dad are family no matter what. Although things were unpleasant due to so issues before, they will eventually pass. Isn’t it progress that Si Yu cos to the ng house for als?" ng Jin consoled her, "Let Dad do what he wants. The doctor said he should stay happy, and there’s nothing wrong with that. He must feel a bit lonely in his heart too."

"Brother Jin, let’s move back to the main estate," Mo Xiaolin suddenly suggested.

ng Jin shook his head, saying, "Now is not the right ti. The main estate is quite a distance from Jianan Prefecture, and Xiao Yue is seven months pregnant with twins, which has a higher risk of preterm birth. Although the mother-in-law is caring for her, we, as parents-in-law, should visit them often."

"Xiaolin, once the twins are born, Xiao Yue and her mother certainly can’t manage alone. As a grandmother, you can’t shirk your duties," ng Jin said, his heart softening at the thought of the impending birth of the twins, "I couldn’t see Si Yu grow up little by little, but now, with two grandsons, I, as their grandfather, must visit often."

"Also, since you handle the family finances, make sure they have everything they need," ng Jin continued, seemingly with endless things to say.

Mo Xiaolin gave him a glance and said, "Brother Jin, you’re making it sound like I’m a stingy mother-in-law."

"No, you’re the most generous and the best mother-in-law," ng Jin praised. Though he’s not one for sweet talk, he always keeps his word.

"Sis, your birthday is coming up soon. Our store is opening, and it just so happens that I can co back early to celebrate your birthday," Tang Jun excitedly called Tang Yue.

The electronics store in Sea City was opening, and they expended a lot of brainpower deciding on a na.

Initially, they wanted to take one character from each of their four nas, like ’Junqiang Jiedong’ or ’Jiejun Qiangdong,’ but these combinations didn’t sound quite right, so they ultimately rejected them.

It was Mo Xiaoyu who suggested they think from a different angle.

So they thought it over and finally decided on ’Zhongyi Store.’ Zhongyi implies unity and symbolizes that the shop belongs to more than just one person.

"Great, even if you can’t make it, it’s just a small birthday," Tang Yue said over the phone, her tone light and cheerful, so much so that you could sense her good mood through the call. She asked, "Xiao Jun, how’s the business at Zhongyi Store?"

"Not bad," Tang Jun cleared his throat and said, "Even though the university hasn’t started yet, there are many local residents and university students renting nearby, and many have already visited. As you suggested, we put effort into the renovation, so now lots of people love visiting the store."

The store plays soothing music, has many music CDs, and features various electronics. The display cabinets, purchased from Shenzhen, are well-lit, looking very bright, and the items inside appear quite upscale.

"That’s good." After asking for details, Tang Yue felt genuinely pleased. Though the store was small, with gradual cultivation, it would only grow more prosperous.

As Tang Yue’s birthday drew nearer, Si Yu shifted from his usual pattern of coming ho early, often returning late, citing work at the company.

Feeling sorry for him, Tang Yue said, "Si Yu, if it’s too late, don’t co back, just rest at the company to avoid the hassle of early departures and late returns."
