"Sister Xiao Yue, later when you see an opportunity, just run." Lian Qingyang was holding a backpack and searching through it for useful items. At the sa ti, he made sure to protect the cara, especially the film inside. He deliberately wrapped everything up nicely so that even if it fell, the film inside the backpack would be unhard.

"Sister Xiao Yue." Lian Qingyang took out an old-fashioned mobile phone and handed it to Tang Yue, saying, "When the ti cos, find a place that might have a signal and call for help or the police."

Now Lian Qingyang understood why Bai Qing was so worried about Sister Xiao Yue’s safety.

With ng Yanzhi, a big threat around, if Sister Xiao Yue didn’t have anyone to protect her, she’d be like a lamb to the slaughter.

"In these mountains, where can there be any signal?" Although Tang Yue muttered this, she took the mobile phone anyway and tried to make a call. However, the phone couldn’t get through; there was no signal at all.

This wasn’t like the future; areas in scenic spots would have signals, and strictly speaking, this wasn’t even considered a scenic spot anymore.

While they were running earlier, they couldn’t head towards the mountaintop of the scenic area and could only run into the surrounding woods.

Tang Yue, being in the mountains, was lost without a clue about directions, and Yu Zhaodi, in her panic, had no idea where the mountain road actually led.

Lian Qingyang cautioned, "Sister Xiao Yue, you never know when you might get a signal."

Lian Qingyang usually just liked to play gas. In the past, he had been trained by his aunt, and survival in the wilderness was essential. After figuring out the directions, he couldn’t help but smile bitterly, "Sister Xiao Yue, it seems we ran deeper into the mountains."

"Should we run in the opposite direction now?" asked Tang Yue.

"People are on all three sides, where can you run to?" Lian Qingyang muttered, having already cursed ng Yanzhi and his ancestors in his heart.

Lian Qingyang said, "Sister Xiao Yue, if a fight breaks out later, you must run deeper into the mountains."

In these deep mountains, there probably wouldn’t be any dangerous animals at this ti; it should be relatively safe.

Lian Qingyang then gave all the food in his backpack to Tang Yue.

Tang Yue tried to refuse.

Lian Qingyang insisted, "Sister Xiao Yue, I have water and biscuits here, enough for two days. You and Yu Zhaodi are two girls, don’t go hungry."

Actually, what Lian Qingyang wanted to say was for Sister Xiao Yue not to starve.

"Lian Qingyang, let’s run deeper into the mountains together. Sister An Yu will definitely co looking for us if she realizes we haven’t arrived," Tang Yue said, quickly scanning her surroundings. She had thought that ng Yanzhi might bring people, but she never imagined that he would bring such a large force.

"Alright." Lian Qingyang urged them to be careful as they moved, agreeing outwardly but thinking inwardly that even if he, a big man, was caught by ng Yanzhi’s n, he might just get beaten up. But it would be different for Sister Xiao Yue.

Lian Qingyang was determined that once he got out of this dreadful place, he definitely wouldn’t let ng Yanzhi go.

Yu Zhaodi felt very guilty but also knew that escaping was the most important thing right now.

They had only walked for about ten minutes when Lian Qingyang suddenly stopped.

All around them were ng Yanzhi’s n.

Tang Yue adjusted her backpack, which was originally designed for mountaineering, making it fit close despite being loaded.

"Xiao Yue, what do we do now?" Yu Zhaodi’s voice trembled as she spoke, "It’s all my fault, if I hadn’t attacked ng Yanzhi, none of this would have happened."

If only she hadn’t gone to find ng Yanzhi alone, purposely avoiding him, Xiao Yue wouldn’t have gotten into trouble looking for her.

"No, even without you, he would have found a way to lure here," Tang Yue responded calmly, now thinking of the girl who had fallen into the water and Bai Qing’s departure; wondering if that was also orchestrated by ng Yanzhi. If so, ng Yanzhi really would stop at nothing to achieve his goals.

The girl obviously couldn’t swim, struggling in the water just like a drowning person would.

Tang Yue felt a heavy heart but kept her composure on the surface.

Lian Qingyang, seeing that they hadn’t taken any action and not spotting ng Yanzhi around, shouted loudly, "ng Yanzhi, hiding and not daring to show yourself, are you even a man?"

As Lian Qingyang kept shouting without catching sight of ng Yanzhi, an idea suddenly struck him. Thinking of ng Yanzhi’s recent abdominal injury, Lian Qingyang’s eyes lit up, he exchanged a glance with Tang Yue, and ng Yanzhi imdiately started sprinting in their direction.

The people guarding the area saw Lian Qingyang’s movent and naturally wouldn’t let him succeed so easily. Almost instantly, three people lunged at Lian Qingyang.

Tang Yue stepped forward and said, "Zhaodi, move ahead."

Tang Yue, though not as skilled as Lian Qingyang and the others, was capable enough to lend a hand.

"Sister Xiao Yue, hurry!" Lian Qingyang yelled to Tang Yue, seizing what seed like the best opportunity. If they waited any longer and ng Yanzhi arrived, escaping would not be so easy.

"How could I leave you alone?" Tang Yue smiled gracefully, picking up a trekking pole that soone had probably discarded.

Tang Yue took action decisively. Though she wasn’t as adept as Lian Qingyang, she could still provide so minor assistance.

Since the attackers were many and cautious of ng Yanzhi, none dared to strike at Tang Yue; they all moved on Lian Qingyang, who was also trying to protect Tang Yue. Amidst this back and forth, Lian Qingyang got injured multiple tis.

Tang Yue noticed the opponents’ hesitation and always stepped forward to protect Lian Qingyang.

Yu Zhaodi stood by anxiously, unsure of what to do.

Tang Yue’s eyes flickered, and as she dodged and retreated, she realized that the three of them couldn’t handle so many people before ng Yanzhi arrived.

Lian Qingyang also realized this and felt even more frustrated inside, recalling that when Bai Qing left, he had promised to protect Sister Xiao Yue, but it hadn’t been long before Sister Xiao Yue got into trouble.

Lian Qingyang felt helpless as he fought; the attackers were nurous and powerful, and there were no suitable weapons at hand.

"ng Yanzhi." Yu Zhaodi suddenly noticed ng Yanzhi, who had changed his clothes and was in black attire. If it weren’t for the blood on her hands from him, she might have thought the earlier events were just an illusion.

Tang Yue turned and saw ng Yanzhi, saying, "ng Yanzhi, tell your n to stop."

"Sure," ng Yanzhi replied briskly, his lips curling up as he said, "As long as Xiao Yue agrees to co and be with , I’ll tell them to stop."

"In your dreams." Even though he was getting beaten, Lian Qingyang would rather die than have Tang Yue compromise because of him.
