As the end of March approached, the March monthly exam was upon them.

Zhang Minmin had really put in a lot of effort to be able to shoot the advertisent, spending days and nights studying, except for eating, drinking, and sleeping.

After finding out, Zhang Minmin’s parents even specially brought over three bags of milk powder for her and her peers to nourish their bodies.

After the exam, when the results ca out, Zhang Minmin was completely dumbfounded when she saw her own scores.

Were these scores really hers?

Not only she couldn’t believe it, even the teachers were shocked. Usually, she couldn’t even pass, but this ti, not only did she pass, she improved by thirty to forty points in every subject. Although she couldn’t compare with the top students, for Zhang Minmin, this progress was imnsely significant.

Zhang Minmin, afraid that her parents wouldn’t believe it, waited until the papers were handed out before going ho to share the good news.

Mr. and Mrs. Zhang, looking at the scores, specially invited Zhang Tingyu and Tang Yue out to eat, attributing this success to their guidance, without which Minmin might not have achieved such scores.

At the dinner, Tang Yue assured that the advertisent was legitimate and that the clothes were not revealing.

Only then were Mr. and Mrs. Zhang at ease about letting Zhang Minmin go shoot the advertisent.

Over the weekend, Tang Yue planned to discuss the salary for shooting the advertisent and also set the shooting date during the Tomb-Sweeping Festival holidays, taking a couple more days off should suffice to complete the shoot.

Tang Yue and Zhou Zhiming had t many tis to ensure what the advertisent would look like, and Tang Yue had truly devoted a lot of effort to this advertisent.

For Zhang Minmin, the money wasn’t an issue as long as she was involved in the shooting, but Tang Yue still prudently had Zhang Minmin sign a contract. The fee for one advertisent shoot was US$ 500, which would take about three days.

To earn US$ 500 in three days was sothing Zhang Minmin hadn’t expected; not only did it fulfill her dream, but it also earned her money.

Apart from Zhang Minmin, the others were also contracted under the sa terms, including the three n hired in Jiang City.

Jiang Shan promptly agreed.

However, Luo Juan never showed up.

"Li Dabao, tell , I’ve tried it already, they’ve decided on for the shoot, wouldn’t it be wrong not to go?" Luo Juan worriedly said.

"What’s there to worry about? They haven’t paid us, so why can’t we change our minds?" Li Dabao said irritably: "Do you really want to shoot an advertisent with n?"

"But it’s good money, and even if there are n, it’s just for clothes, what’s the big deal?" Luo Juan argued, loving that red dress she wore that ti.

She had never worn such beautiful clothes in her life.

"How much could they possibly pay?" Li Dabao spoke dismissively, thinking the shooting was short-term and definitely couldn’t offer much money. He said, "Look, the barbershop I’m running now is doing quite well, earning tens every day."

Li Dabao really didn’t want Luo Juan to take part in that advertisent, which would be visible nationwide!

He was anxious; Luo Juan was not easy for him to win over, and if sothing were to happen...

"Listen to , Juanzi, isn’t it better to just stay at ho and be a cash-receiving shopowner?" Li Dabao threw his trump card.

Luo Juan thought about it, realizing it indeed wouldn’t earn much, so she stayed ho with Li Dabao as he suggested, collecting money and acting as the shopowner, which seed not too bad after all.

Li Dabao happily kissed Luo Juan.

"Uncle, did you really notify Luo Juan? Why is no one here yet?" Tang Yue, holding the contracts for five people, had been waiting all day and Luo Juan still hadn’t co. She couldn’t help asking Tang Mingli, could it be that he had been too busy and forgot?

"It can’t be, I did notify her. Her partner runs a barbershop in the county, and I was even thinking of going there for haircuts in the future," Tang Mingli answered confidently and with certainty.

Tang Yue pondered for a mont before saying, "Then I’ll go there once more."

The Tomb-Sweeping Festival is only two days away. What if we can’t confirm this?

Accompanied by Tang Jun, Tang Yue headed for the barbershop, where Li Dabao and Juanzi were affectionately together. Tang Yue gestured for Tang Jun to knock on the door.

Li Dabao and Luo Juan instantly separated.

Luo Juan, blushing, felt embarrassed as soon as she saw that it was Tang Yue.

"Hello Luo Juan, I am Tang Yue from Mingyue Clothing Factory," Tang Yue introduced herself.

"Hello," Luo Juan moved aside to give Tang Yue a seat.

It was the first ti Li Dabao was seeing Tang Yue. He thought his own partner was beautiful enough, but standing next to Tang Yue imdiately highlighted the difference.

"Cough."

Tang Jun intentionally cleared his throat loudly, protecting Tang Yue as he walked her to a nearby sofa to sit, but the sofa was sowhat shabby so he found a stool instead, wiped it, and then said: "Sister, sit."

"Okay." Tang Yue smiled gently, Tang Jun was becoming more sensible, she could barely recall what the yellow-haired Tang Jun from her past life looked like.

"Luo Juan, did sothing keep you busy today? We have set the date for the shoot, so we wanted to sign the contract with you and discuss the salary," Tang Yue got straight to the point without beating around the bush.

"That..." Luo Juan subconsciously looked towards Li Dabao.

Li Dabao said, "Sorry, our Juanzi will not be shooting."

"Why?" Tang Yue asked, her gaze landing on Luo Juan. "Luo Juan, do you not want to shoot?"

"My Juanzi, how can she pose with other n?" Li Dabao said indignantly. "She can only take photos with , not with other n."

Tang Yue’s eyes flickered as she said, "Luo Juan, this advertisent shoot, there’s no physical contact, and you’ve seen the clothes, they are decent."

Luo Juan’s image was good, and moreover, the sample clothes were made according to their sizes. Now Luo Juan says she won’t shoot, what about the clothes?

"Exactly, my sister even took her asurents, and the clothes are all made. Saying she won’t shoot just like that, won’t the clothes be wasted?" Tang Jun muttered beside them. Over the weekend, he had been with Tang Yue in the sample design room; he did his howork while Tang Yue personally cut the clothes.

Those few sets of clothes, the sizes, especially around the waist, were tailored to each person’s body. Juanzi saying she won’t shoot now, wouldn’t it an my sister’s efforts were all in vain?

Tang Jun felt it was unfair on behalf of his sister.

"We didn’t ask you to make them, we won’t compensate for the clothes," Li Dabao hurriedly said, as if fearing they would ask him for compensation.

"Luo Juan, the salary we are offering is not low," Tang Yue was about to ntion it was US$ 500 and only needed three days, but Li Dabao didn’t give her any chance, saying, "It’s not about the money."
