In the workshop, although it was busy, life was fulfilling. Every day, Tang Yue worked with the drafts, fabrics, and sewing machines, other than the ti for eating and sleeping, she spent her days in the pattern studio.

When Tang Yue looked at one piece of clothing after another being completed, the sense of accomplishnt in her heart was irreplaceable by anything else.

"Xiao Yue, the cutting of this piece of clothing is fine, all three sizes are done." Deng Lanhua had made three sets of clothes, and after gaining experience, it beca quite easy to know what size to make, sotis, just a simple trim would suffice for success.

"Good." Tang Yue took a glance at the clothes and gave Deng Lanhua a thumbs up. She really hadn’t misjudged her; Sister Deng was very good at making clothes. Despite her young age, she was ticulous and careful, and also quick to understand.

Working with Sister Deng also saved Tang Yue a lot of worries.

The master tailor took these fabrics and started cutting them out one by one neatly.

That day, early in the morning, Tang Yue hadn’t left the house yet when she faintly heard the voices of Tang Zhengyuan and Wang Aihua from the shop. Tang Yue’s brows furrowed and she asked, "Xiao Jun, is it uncle and aunt who are there?"

"Who else but them." Tang Jun said with a grimacing mouth, in a bad mood, "Tang Xian and Tang Min are here too. I really don’t know how they can be so shaless."

It’s one thing to eat breakfast for free, but to be picky and choosy is just irritating.

"Have you eaten?" Tang Yue asked.

"I’m full of anger." Tang Jun said huffily.

Tang Yue couldn’t help but laugh.

Tang Jun gave her a look and said, "Sis, you still find this funny?"

"Why not laugh, why should we be unhappy because of other people’s actions?" Tang Yue retorted, "Xiao Jun, being angry is like punishing ourselves with other people’s mistakes. Think about it, while you fu here, they might be secretly happy."

"Really?" It was the first ti Tang Jun had heard such a viewpoint.

Tang Yue nodded affirmatively, "Think about it; you’re angry, but they’re outside, eating breakfast happily. Do you think they care if you’re angry or not?"

"No." Tang Jun shook his head and added, "They wouldn’t care whether I’m angry or not."

"That’s right. The only ones who care about you are the people you care about. Why should we cause worry to those who care about us because of them?" Tang Yue advised earnestly, "Everyone must be responsible for their own life. We can’t control what others do, we can only take care of ourselves."

Tang Jun seed to understand but not quite, his spirits lifting as he looked into Tang Yue’s caring eyes, the anger from earlier vanishing. "Sis, don’t worry, I’m going to go to university. I will study hard and won’t end up like Tang Xian."

"Hmm?" Tang Yue asked subconsciously, "What happened to Tang Xian?"

"Nothing much." Tang Jun spoke hurriedly.

"Xiao Yue, why are you hiding here?" Wang Aihua looked at Tang Yue, her eyes landing on the clothes she was wearing and asked, "Xiao Yue, the clothes you’re wearing are really nice, your uncle must have given them to you, right?"

"Auntie, my uncle sells clothes, he doesn’t give them away." Tang Yue replied, not wanting to even spare a glance at Wang Aihua’s face.

Tang Yue took so stead buns and went to find Tang Mingli.

"Uncle, uncle and aunt, Xiao Xian and Xiao Min are here." Tang Yue said and handed over the stead buns, biting into a at bun, thinking of how just now Wang Aihua and her family of four had breakfast, adding poached eggs was one thing, but also wanting to add at, wishing to pile up all the dishes.

Without saying, they were determined not to pay, really treating these things as if they cost nothing.

"Your uncle must have co because of the job." After Tang Mingli finished washing, he sat opposite Tang Yue eating the buns. The matter that had been discussed before was already known to Tang Mingli, so he did not say much, just spoke with Tang Yue about hiring. They still needed a few more workers and were planning to recruit from Qianjin Village.

"Uncle, I think it’s better not to say the factory is yours. Just say you’re helping to manage it." Tang Yue had a sudden inspiration, "Uncle, think about it. If people in the village knew it was your factory, everyone would want to get people into the factory in the future. Wouldn’t that be bad?"

"There are only so many people in the village." Tang Mingli wasn’t concerned about Tang Yue’s words. Qianjin Village itself did not have many people, and there were even fewer who could use sewing machines.

Moreover, if they really ca to work at the factory, they would have to live inside the factory, which ant even fewer people would co to work.

"Uncle, there may not be many people in the village, but think about it, everyone in the village has relatives." Tang Yue reminded.

Tang Mingli understood instantly, "Xiao Yue, you’re right. We’ll just say we’re managing the factory for a friend."

"Mm." Tang Yue nodded, vaguely hearing uncle’s voice, she simply fell silent and even moved to a different spot.

"Xiao Yue, if we had known you were coming here, we would have co together," said Wang Aihua, her mouth greasy from eating, having just had two bowls of noodles, two poached eggs, and so pork, filling her belly.

Tang Yue called out and then stayed quiet.

"Mingli, what exactly is the job you found for your elder brother? How much does it pay a month?" Once Wang Aihua heard there was a job, she imdiately urged Tang Zhengyuan to co.

In the first half of the year, Tang Zhengyuan had been nursing a leg injury, doing nothing at ho. Even the few acres of land at ho were tended to by her maternal brothers. Now, the skies have cleared, and seeing that Tang Zhengyuan could walk normally, Wang Aihua had pestered Tang Mingli and others quite a few tis already. However, finding a job in the county town wasn’t that easy. The matter got delayed, dragging on until now.

"Yeah, it’s at the garnt factory where I’m working now, helping to guard the gate, fifty yuan a month." Tang Mingli said, thinking his elder brother would be pleased with this news.

However, Tang Zhengyuan looked hesitant.

Wang Aihua did not hesitate to show her disdain, "Mingli, isn’t it inappropriate, this gatekeeper job? Isn’t guarding the gate sothing only dogs do?"

"Big sister-in-law, who says only dogs can guard gates? Without gatekeepers, the factory’s goods could be stolen without anyone knowing, it’s an important job." Tang Mingli had not anticipated such a reaction from them.

"Moreover, the job is easy going, elder brother’s leg can’t do strenuous work, this fits perfectly." Tang Mingli’s gaze turned to Tang Zhengyuan.

Wang Aihua’s temperant was well understood by Tang Mingli. He couldn’t be bothered to listen to her opinion and simply ignored it.
