"Yes," Li Yongi chid in, "when she has makeup on and wears the beautiful bridal gown, that’s when she’ll be the most stunning."

"Let’s wait and see when she gets married, maybe we won’t even be able to take our eyes off her."

Lu Jingjing added.

Tang Yue smiled gently. Actually, she was fine with whenever Jin Yan tried it on, as the asurents were all tailored specifically for Jin Yan. It should fit perfectly when Jin Yan wears it.

This bridal gown was Tang Yue’s hard work over a long ti, finalizing the design only after Lian Qingyang’s nitpicking review seven or eight tis.

When the gown was completed, even Tang Yue was taken aback; it truly was the most beautiful dress she had ever made.

She believed Jin Yan would look stunning in it.

When Jin Yan got ho and carefully took out the gown, both she and her mother were stunned. They examined the rhinestones by the neckline and chest ticulously. Mrs. Jin asked, "Aren’t these real diamonds?"

Mrs. Jin hardly dared to touch the gown, fearing her rough hands might tear it. She gazed at the sparkling, dazzling stones on the dress for a long ti.

"They probably aren’t, right?" Jin Yan said uncertainly.

After a careful inspection, Jin Yan said, "Mom, these seem to be real diamonds."

"I used to think the wedding was too rushed, but now it doesn’t seem rushed at all."

Mrs. Jin remarked, realizing that with such a ticulously designed gown, both Lian Qingyang and the Lian Family valued this wedding greatly.

When this matter was ntioned to Mr. Jin and Grandpa Jin, they exchanged glances, thinking about how to prepare the dowry for Jin Yan.

Compared to the Lian’s betrothal gifts, the Jin Family’s dowry seed shabby.

While the Jin Family was worried about the dowry being too humble, on the other side, Lian Qingyang received a call from the wedding company, asking for their wedding photos for the reception. Lian Qingyang was imdiately taken aback.

They hadn’t taken their wedding photos yet.

Besides work, Lian Qingyang had been planning a surprise for Jin Yan. He was so busy he hardly had ti to see her, let alone a quick call to alleviate longing was difficult.

"Hello?"

Jin Yan was about to call about the gown when Lian Qingyang on the other end said, "Dear, we haven’t done our wedding photos yet. Are you free tomorrow?"

"Yes," Jin Yan was about to say they could skip the photos, but Lian Qingyang had already decided.

"Dear, I’ll pick you up at eight in the morning," Lian Qingyang smiled as he listened to her voice, saying, "Have you missed these days? I’ve missed you, missed you a lot."

Lian Qingyang’s soft voice was filled with longing, almost enchanting.

Jin Yan grinned over the phone, teasing, "Not missing you at all."

"Really?" Lian Qingyang didn’t buy it, saying, "I dream of you every night, how could you not miss ?"

"What do you dream about ?"

Curious, Jin Yan asked, feeling warm inside.

The call went silent, she only heard Lian Qingyang’s breathing.

"Lian Xiaoyang, are you dreaming about bullying ?" Jin Yan couldn’t help but imagine.

Lian Qingyang paused, his lips curving as he said, "Yes, dreaming about bullying you, but..." his words trailed off, emphasizing the word ’bullying,’ leaving no room for doubt about the implications.

Jin Yan instantly caught on, muttering, "Rascal."

With that, Jin Yan hung up, her face flushing red.

"Dear, I really want to bully you,"

Lian Qingyang said with feeling. The closer to the wedding, the more Lian Qingyang felt an eager anticipation in his heart, wishing for the wedding day to co sooner.

That night.

In the Siheyuan, Tang Jun and the others gathered unusually, so Tang Yue specially prepared a barbecue and brought out plenty of beer for them to enjoy.

Tang Yue, Wei Jiajia, and the returning Zhang Hualian busied themselves with the grilling.

Zaozao and Chenchen stood by, eagerly watching the food cooking. Chenchen occasionally asked, "Mom, when will it be done?"

"Just a little longer; we want both sides golden and glistening with oil before it’s done," Tang Yue gently reminded, "If the at is still red inside, it’s not cooked and shouldn’t be eaten."

"Okay."

Chenchen nodded in response but kept asking Tang Yue, her adorable eagerness making everyone laugh.

It was the weekend, so not only was Tuantuan there, but Tang You’an was too. Being four years older than Zaozao and Chenchen, he was like a young gentleman, diligently grilling. Yet, after finishing, he would give one piece to his sister Tuantuan and one to Chenchen, not tasting any himself.

"Your Anan is becoming more and more sensible," Tang Yue couldn’t help but exclaim. Ti flies; when Anan was born, he was so tiny, and now her own son was already eight.

"So is Zaozao,"

Wei Jiajia was happy that life was getting better, with no rifts arising. She was grateful for choosing to marry Tang Mingli, who was once a poor boy. She had not made a wrong choice.

ng Siyu, Tang Mingli, and Tang Zhengde were chatting, while Tang Yue and the others handled the grilling.

Tang Jun and his friends sat around a small table, drinking and chatting, their laughter carried far by the wind.

The kids filled their stomachs with barbecue and played around the yard after drinking and eating their fill.

As night wore on, the kids went to rest, while Tang Yue and the others tidied the ssy table until it was spotless. Only the n, still drinking, were left in the yard.

"Let them drink; it’s rare they all gather like this," Zhang Hualian said, watching them drink beer. She shook her head, letting them be.

"Exactly, they won’t be leaving without getting drunk tonight."

Tang Yue had grilled plenty of food so they wouldn’t just drink without anything to munch on.

"Jiajie, you’re not going to get drunk and hug the table leg to sleep today, right?" Mo Weidong laughed heartily.

"Get lost."

Wei Jiajie kicked at Mo Dong, saying, "Are you planning to sleep under the big tree?"

"Sleeping under the tree would be nice and cool."

"You sleep there then, not ."

"No way, I’m bunking with Xiao Jun tonight."

"Who wants to share a bed with you? You snore too loudly." Tang Jun playfully complained while smiling.

Wei Jiajie looped his arm around Tang Jun’s shoulders; the more he disliked it, the more determined he was to sleep with Tang Jun.

The four of them chatted and joked in the courtyard, making ti seem to stretch.
