After Tang Yue got clear information, she said, "I’ll contact you later."

Tang Yue hung up the phone and looked at ng Siyu nonchalantly, her bright eyes seemingly able to see through people’s hearts.

ng Siyu cleared his throat and said, "Xiao Yue, well, actually, there’s sothing I need to tell you."

"Speak." Tang Yue’s voice was cold, obviously angry.

"Mom."

Both Zaozao and Chenchen belatedly realized that Tang Yue was angry, and Chenchen, sowhat frightened, shrunk into ng Siyu’s embrace.

Zaozao got up, walked forward, and said, "Mom, do you know Uncle can’t see anymore?"

"Who are you talking about?"

Even though Jin Yan’s words already made Tang Yue suspect Tang Jun, truly hearing Zaozao say it, Tang Yue still felt dizzy.

"Xiao Yue." ng Siyu quickly got up, reached out intending to hold Tang Yue, but she dodged. Leaning against the sofa, she trembled as she asked, "ng Siyu, this is such a big thing, and you actually hid it from ?"

Tang Yue’s voice rose several pitches, her eyes slightly blurred, her mind a chaotic ss. She suddenly stood up.

ng Siyu, without hesitation, first hugged Tang Yue and comforted her, "It’s not hiding from you, it’s that I haven’t found the opportunity to tell you."

"Xiao Yue, Tang Jun’s eyes have a little problem, but it’s not untreatable."

ng Siyu quickly said, "Xiao Yang took Xiao Jun to Changshui Village to treat his eyes. That Old Chinese dicine Doctor Miao’s acupuncture skills are very impressive; surely Xiao Jun’s eyes can be cured."

ng Siyu quietly signaled to Zaozao and Chenchen.

Zaozao and Chenchen both rushed forward, hugging Tang Yue, "Mom, Uncle’s eyes will get better."

"Chenchen said he’d be Uncle’s eyes."

Chenchen’s soft voice sounded beside her ear, and Tang Yue’s agitated heart gradually cald under the comforting of ng Siyu and the two children. She asked, "So what’s actually wrong with Xiao Jun’s eyes? Why did he suddenly go blind?"

All sorts of thoughts flooded Tang Yue’s mind.

ng Siyu chose the simplest words to explain, "He bumped his head against a stone, and now there’s blood clotting in his brain. The doctor says that it’s precisely these clots that are pressing on the optic nerve, causing Xiao Jun to be unable to see."

"How did he bump into a stone?"

Tang Yue anxiously asked, listening to ng Siyu’s words, she recalled Feng Mi’s novels where a single head knock led to amnesia and blindness, countless tis.

With good luck, maybe it won’t be long before his vision is restored; with bad luck, could it an he’s blind for life?

Ugh, with Xiao Jun’s good luck, surely he’ll recover after so days.

"What’s going on with visiting the old doctor?" Tang Yue couldn’t wait for his answer and asked.

ng Siyu patiently explained, "The old doctor’s acupuncture can naturally help dissipate the blood clots, perhaps effectively. The hospital said surgery risks are too high, not recomnded, so we thought of finding the old doctor."

"Despite how remarkable the acupuncture of Chinese dicine is, I can’t just sit still. I have to find Tang Jun now."

Tang Yue couldn’t stay another mont.

"Xiao Yue, Changshui Village is more than three hours away; after reaching the town, you’ll still have to walk three more hours to get there. If we leave now, are you planning on trekking mountain roads at midnight?"

ng Siyu reminded her; it wasn’t that he was unwilling to go now, but the mountain roads were treacherous, difficult to navigate even during the day, let alone at night.

"Besides, if we’re going there, we need to prepare and bring so things over, right?"

ng Siyu added, while signaling to the two children.

Zaozao looked eagerly at Tang Yue and said, "Mom, you just got back."

"I want to sleep with you, Mom." Chenchen released her grip and tightly hugged Tang Yue, refusing to let go.

Tang Yue helplessly said, "With you three holding onto like this, how can I go anywhere?"

Chenchen, with big round eyes like Tang Yue, looked at her and said, "Mom doesn’t leave."

Zaozao looked at her pleadingly, "Don’t go."

ng Siyu: "Don’t go."

Chenchen’s eyes were like Tang Yue’s, big and round.

Zaozao and ng Siyu, one big and one small, looked like they were cut from the sa mold.

With three pairs of eyes staring at her, she burst into laughter, her eyes still sparkling with tears. She cleared her throat and said, "I won’t leave. Today, I’ll stay with our precious ones, alright?"

"Alright!" Chenchen jumped up happily.

Zaozao and ng Siyu exchanged a glance, their eyes shining brightly.

At night, the four squeezed onto one bed.

Luckily, when Tang Yue chose the 1.8-ter big bed, even though the room felt a bit cramped with it in, Tang Yue still loved the big bed.

This mont, its usefulness was evident.

Otherwise, the four couldn’t fit onto a big bed at all.

Zaozao and Chenchen hadn’t slept with their parents for a long ti. As a result, the two went wild, jumping and bouncing on the bed like little kids.

After returning from F Country, landing, and heading straight to the Siheyuan, then running errands at the market, and cooking upon returning, Tang Yue was exhausted. Though the two children were noisy, Tang Yue soon fell into a dazed sleep.

ng Siyu noticed and imdiately made a silent gesture with Zaozao and Chenchen.

"Shh."

Zaozao and Chenchen both put their fingers in front of their mouths and instinctively quieted down.

"Don’t talk, don’t disturb Mom." Chenchen whispered.

Zaozao nodded and obediently lay down beside her.

ng Siyu directly picked Chenchen up and said, "Be good, go back to your room and sleep."

"No." Chenchen clung to the blanket, steadfast against ng Siyu’s attempts to move her.

Zaozao, perceptive as ever, directly lay next to Tang Yue, leaning against her, eyes closed.

ng Siyu helplessly looked at the two children and could only lay back down.

"Go to sleep early." ng Siyu said, turning off the light.

Not long after, Zaozao and Chenchen fell asleep. Listening to their even breathing, in the dark, ng Siyu discreetly carried them back to their room one by one.

"Sleep peacefully."

ng Siyu’s lips curled into a smile; he happily returned to his room to sleep with Tang Yue.

With the children occupying Tang Yue, he hadn’t had the chance to properly hold his wife.

Holding his soft wife, even if nothing else happened, he still felt utterly content.

ng Siyu took a deep breath, inhaling the faint scent of her bath on his wife. For soone usually struggling to sleep, he quickly drifted off.

The next day, early in the morning, ng Siyu called ng Jin. He needed to take a few days off, so ng Jin would have to work a bit harder.

Tang Yue was going to Changshui Village; it was too far. If he didn’t accompany her, he wouldn’t feel at ease.

"You’re calling so early just to request a few days off?" ng Jin couldn’t help but twitch his lips. What ti is it?

Five o’clock!

Not five in the afternoon, but five in the morning.
