"But she didn’t understand, ’Why look for a new teacher, is Mr. Su not teaching well?’"

"How do you feel about it?" Jian Zhiqing asked her in return. At that mont, he was standing with his back to the wind, which ant that all the wind was blowing onto him, while Qin Xiangnuan could no longer feel the cold; all the wind was blocked by this tall and large man. For the first ti, she felt that being short and thin was not too bad, at the very least, there was soone to block the wind and rain for her, as if even if the mountains ca crashing down, he would be there to bear it.

She rubbed her hands together, her eyes misty like the current weather. The weather forecast ntioned snow in the coming days, but Qin Xiangnuan felt that it would snow today.

As for Su Baijin’s teaching quality, she could not judge too hastily. To be honest, Su Baijin possessed real professional skills, having graduated from a formal school, it was impossible for him to be lacking. At first, he took his job very seriously, but recently, he had beco imrsed in love, and naturally, his mind was no longer here.

Her mind wandered for a while before she finally nodded slightly.

"Mr. Su teaches quite well."

Jian Zhiqing put his hands in his pockets with a smile that was not quite a smile, that glance sohow stirring a strange feeling in Qin Xiangnuan.

Fortunately, in the end, he said nothing and turned to continue walking forward.

At this ti, the street lights were very bright, the warm yellow glow of the lamps matched the few people on the street, but there were already so out for their morning exercise. The noise of the day had started on the streets, but the air at this ti was still so fresh that it made Qin Xiangnuan want to cry.

No sandstorms, how wonderful, no smog, how wonderful.

With a clack, Jian Zhiqing slid the rolling door upwards, and it was open. The sll from inside needed to be aired out first; the gas from the stove was quite strong, and the wind occasionally carried a hint of sulfur in the air.

A few minutes later, Qin Xiangnuan and Jian Zhiqing stepped inside, took down the kettle on the stove—its contents still hot—perfect for washing vegetables and such.

She placed two flat pans on the stove, one for stir-frying vegetables, which she would prepare on the spot. Originally, she had thought about frying them at ho and bringing them over, but it was too cold, and by the ti they got here, who knows how cold they would beco. At least, by frying them now, so warmth could be retained.

The daily vegetables were always the sa, she could now make them with her eyes closed if needed.

After stir-frying the vegetables, she would knead the dough and make pancakes, which quickly ca off the pan.

Jian Zhiqing was waiting for the pancake to be ready. It would normally take a little longer, but Qin Xiangnuan saw Jian Zhiqing repeatedly checking his watch, apparently in a hurry, so she sped up her movents and finished the pancake ahead of ti.

She cut the pancake in half, then folded one half, filled it with vegetables, and handed it to Jian Zhiqing.

Jian Zhiqing took it, then glanced at his wristwatch again.

"I’m going to work now. I won’t be back at noon. Leave so dinner for , I’ll be back late."

"Alright," Qin Xiangnuan noted, and then pinched off another piece of dough to continue making other pancakes. At this mont, the north wind was sharp, the air very dry, but surrounded by three stoves, she almost couldn’t feel much cold. However, Jian Zhiqing tightened his collar with one hand, eating a pancake as he walked. His black windbreaker hugged his body, rging with the elegance of the night, and in a mont, he had disappeared.
