Shortly after, the station’s broadcast began to sound, featuring a lodious female voice, similar in quality to that of a broadcaster
"Could soone please report if there’s a lost child, about five years old, a boy who is nicknad Tangtang and currently at Hua’s Restaurant outside the station? Please pass the ssage around." The announcent was repeated several tis, drawing many people who ca to check if the child was theirs; however, it turned out not to be.
Of course, this incident unexpectedly brought a lot of business to Hua’s Restaurant, which beca famous because of this broadcast.
Soon after, a young teenager walked in, looking quite admirable but his eyes, they really resembled the little guy’s.
"Excuse , do you have a five-year-old child here, about this tall?" He gestured to indicate the height, wearing a gray cotton jacket, black trousers, and a pair of black leather shoes.
Before Aunt Hua could answer, the little guy dashed out from inside.
"Brother..."
As soon as the little guy saw the visitor, his eyes brightened, he ran over and hugged the teenager’s legs, rubbing his little head against his legs a few tis, clearly a child who loved to be coddled and held.
The teenager picked up the child, pinched his little face hard, "Why did you wander off? Let’s go back and see how mom is going to punish you?"
The little guy seed to think of sothing, quickly covering his little butt; his large eyes also blinking rapidly, which made the teenager sowhat laugh and cry. Apparently, he was still scared. This little fellow had been spoiled by everyone at ho; apart from his father, he listened to no one. Now, he had ended up wandering off. What would have happened if soone had abducted him? Who would care for him then, pamper him? If he beca soone else’s child, having proper als would have been an issue.
Just then, Qin Xiangnuan ca out from inside, glancing up and unexpectedly recognizing the person.
"Oh, it’s you?"
Indeed, the teenager recognized Qin Xiangnuan too. Actually, their appearances hadn’t changed much, the only difference being they had grown taller, but their facial features were largely the sa.
"You’ve grown up," the teenager holding his brother in one arm, rubbed Qin Xiangnuan’s hair with the other hand. "Just like Tangtang when you were little, a few years have passed and you’ve grown so much."
"Brother has grown up too," Qin Xiangnuan smiled, yet let out an involuntary sigh inside.
Growing up is not that great at all.
But, we all are born, grow up, and of course, there will co a day when we die.
"By the way..." Qin Xiangnuan’s gaze intermittently scanned the faces of the teenager and the child in his arms, ticulously searching for their similarities. The eyes—yes, the nose—yes, but not the mouth.
"Brother Jian, is this the child from Aunt Li’s belly?"
"That it is," Jian Zhiqing pinched the round cheek of his little brother.
"Brother Jian thought it would be a little sister?" Qin Xiangnuan also clearly rembered, initially, Li Qiuhua’s family of three thought it would be a daughter; Jian Ming kept calling it his darling daughter, and Jian Zhiqing kept referring to it as his little sister. How co it turned out to be a boy, not a little sister...
"No choice there," Jian Zhiqing laughed, "Everyone thought it would be a little sister because it was so well-behaved. My mom said it had to be a little girl, but it turned out to be a little bald boy, but luckily, he’s still quite well-behaved, of course, his little face also looks like his mom’s."
