[Chapter 668: The Courage for A Private Duel]

After the failed attack on Beverly Hills, the gang didn't seem inclined to continue their luckless endeavor. It had been an attempt, after all. Besides, wasn't it clear that a mob of misfits wasn't that easy to command? Driven by their self-interest, the small-ti thugs imdiately shifted to beco robbers.

While things were calm in the wealthy neighborhoods for the ti being, the rest of Los Angeles fell into severe turmoil and chaos.

Strictly speaking, many in the gang were quite savvy. They understood very well that so boundaries couldn't be crossed -- like ssing with the police.

If there were ever a serious incident with an officer involved, you could bet there wouldn't be any warning shots fired. They would definitely empty their magazines.

As for the gang's fighting prowess, it could only be described as laughable. Most of the police had been pulled away to protect the wealthy, and as for the gang's community? Well, they were on their own.

"What the hell, what are these Koreans doing?" William White exclaid, astonished while watching the live broadcast on NBC.

"Master, those are the residents of Koreatown; they have so military training."

"C'mon, what are they firing at? It's just random shooting. They better not hit a cop."

"Uh, Master, there are no police left in Koreatown. I just checked; other than this area they're concentrated in, everything else has been cleaned out."

"See, I told you, Rodney King wasn't the focus. They were more concerned with fighting it out. Tsk, why aren't these guys running?"

The folks from Koreatown couldn't run. Their entire livelihoods were here. If everything got stolen, they might as well jump into the ocean.

"Master, when do we start moving? There's intel that they plan to raid the Bentley dealership."

William White was quite surprised; these guys really were creative. What good would that even do?

"Alright, let's take advantage of the chaos. We'll move when they do. By the way, have the pickup boats ready. Heh, hope they enjoy the pleasant journey."

Tanner left, and now that things had already beco chaotic, there was nothing left to fear. By the ti the dust settled, losing a few small-ti thugs wouldn't matter much.

...

Tanner left, and William White continued to watch the fight enthusiastically. The firepower from the Koreans was still strong; the gang could only watch from a distance.

Following this incident, there was a complete rift between Koreans and the black gangs. They ca to vent their frustrations and got t with a harsh counterattack.

Damn it, we're here to rob; can't you guys cooperate a little? Infuriated, the gang began to set fire to shops. Their simple thought was, since you love money so much, let's make you suffer a bit more.

Koreans had attracted the most hatred. The entire Greater Los Angeles area, despite being a warzone everywhere, saw the most significant losses in Koreatown.

Well, this was also sothing driven by so scheming individuals. However, unable to chew through this tough nut, the gang imdiately shifted their focus. Robbing anyone else was just fine; places where one could lose their life weren't worth approaching.

...

"Sir, here's your coffee."

"Yeah, Lisa, don't go back tonight. This chaos might last a few days."

"Okay, sir, thank you." After saying that, she started giving him a head massage.

It took quite a bit of effort for the assistant to serve him well.

"Sir, the Koreans are fighting so well."

"Ha ha. There are so who wouldn't mind risking it for money, but not many. You can rebuild a shop if it's gone, but if a life is lost, no amount of money can change that."

The assistant felt puzzled; in fact, William White didn't know what he was trying to say either. His thoughts were all fixed elsewhere.

Tsk tsk, the guy who invented T-shaped underwear was truly a genius. How did he co up with that? Hmm, this assistant was indeed quite avant-garde. If he rembered correctly, it only beca popular in the late 90s.

Cough, they even made a version specifically for n in the end. Damn it, aside from making you more prone to hemorrhoids, what good could it possibly do?

"What about it, Lisa? Isn't it going to feel awkward?"

"Nope, you get used to it."

The gunfire in Los Angeles didn't dampen his good mood. Those damn people would soon find themselves in trouble; why should he be angry over deaths? Instead of wasting ti being angry, he might as well work out!

...

"Tanner, it seems the target is trying to slip away."

"Heh, hold your ground; that one needs to live."

"Don't worry, Tanner; this ti we brought tranquilizer guns."

"Yeah, keep following him. If you don't find him connecting with anyone, just take him out directly."

...

So people were very sensitive to danger. Andy sensed sothing off in the surrounding atmosphere. The group heading to rob the Bentley dealership had just left, and he decisively chose to bail.

He had lost all patience with this gang of misfits. Damn, don't even think about testing William White. They couldn't even get into Beverly Hills.

Well, he was actually scared. The scene when his two companions got shot in the head was simply beyond description.

What unfolded next was more a joke than anything else. A bunch of foolish idiots randomly fired bullets in all directions. While the show of force was very intimidating, it wasn't worth a di.

Damn, the targets five hundred ters away were just coldly watching them. When a guy who tried to charge out got an arm blown off, the farce effectively ended.

Damn, this was too bullying. If you had guts, just co over and duel. What did it an to carry two bazookas?

He finally understood that the police in front didn't pose much of a threat. Those hiding in the shadows, however, were definitely not to be trifled with. This was rely a show of strength; if they didn't know when to stop, they might very well et their end here.

Heh, still trying to rob Bentley? What gave them the illusion that there weren't any setups around?

His thoughts reached this point and ca to an end, followed by a numbing fatigue. Oh no, he realized he had been ambushed.

Unfortunately, by the ti he realized this, he had already lost control of his body.

At the sa ti, those attacking the Bentley dealership and White Bank encountered a harsh counterattack. Even seasoned individuals were frightened by such a scene. Damn, we're just here to rob; do you have to be so brutal?
