Chapter 1451: Chapter 897: Emperor Gu (Part 2)

The primordial spirit of the single-eyed tiger was forcibly bound in midair by an invisible force. No matter how desperately it struggled, it couldn’t break free even a bit.

However, just as Gu Chen was about to capture the single-eyed tiger,

An anomaly suddenly erged.

From afar, ripples stirred across the void, creating undulating waves visible to the naked eye.

The still air turned violent,

A foul wind erupted.

Gray mist morphed into a torrential black tide, overturning the scene in an instant.

The next mont,

A sharp claw covered in white fur extended from the ghostly gray mist, reaching fiercely towards Gu Chen’s position.

Accompanied by this was a deafening roar, spoken in a language Gu Chen had never heard before—ancient, mysterious, depraved, and dark.

Though it was just a language, it made the scalp tingle, as if all the malevolence in the world was contained within it.

The roar sounded impossibly furious.

Gu Chen was jolted in shock, surprised that despite being so cautious and vigilant, he was still discovered at a critical mont.

Even more startling was how the enemy imdiately saw through his concealed location. The white, sharp claw covered the sky, leaving no hesitation.

Quasi-Immortal Emperor-level existence!

And a veteran Quasi-Immortal Emperor, who must have honed their strength at this realm for countless years. Otherwise, they couldn’t possibly pierce through his hiding place in an instant.

The warnings from the elder were indeed correct. The realm above the heavens could be ventured into, but this place was too perilous. Only those at the strength of Quasi-Immortal Emperors could barely survive here. Even the Supre Giants would be as fragile as grass in this domain, which made it clear why the elder didn’t ntion this place to him until he broke through to the realm of a Quasi-Immortal Emperor.

Still, the primordial spirit of that single-eyed tiger was truly exceptional. Even as a juvenile, it already rivaled the power of the Supre Giants. If it reached adulthood, its potential would be unimaginable—its ability to grow was imnse.

Most crucially, upon slaying the creature, Gu Chen distinctly felt a resonant connection with his own Cave Heaven.

There might be ferocious beasts stronger than this single-eyed tiger, but one capable of invoking resonance with his Cave Heaven? This was the first ti.

Hence, Gu Chen was determined to acquire it.

With a single thought, Gu Chen wasted no ti turning swiftly, his hands moving quickly to perform a sealing technique.

He ford the Overlord Fist Seal, purple blood boiling around him like erupting volcanoes, and struck directly to block the unstoppable claw that had suddenly appeared.

“Boom!”

The massive impact scattered the dense mist covering the area instantly. The residual shockwaves extended outward, leveling every mountain within millions of miles.

Gu Chen retreated several paces backward, stabilizing himself as he narrowed his gaze, sharply watching into the ghostly gray mist.

As the mist gradually dispersed, a gigantic figure slowly erged.

That towering silhouette, as the ghostly gray mist cleared, appeared as though it was treading out from the primal chaos of antiquity—each step seed to transcend the boundaries of ti and space, exuding an oppressive aura that made one’s heart tremble.

Its body was colossal, so overwhelming that even with Gu Chen’s Quasi-Immortal Emperor vision, he couldn’t help but feel astonished.

Covered head to toe in snow-white fur that shimred with ghostly luminescence, each swaying motion resembled the endless fall of snow.

Its eyes were deep like abysses, seemingly capable of piercing through all illusions of the world, directly viewing the depths of the human heart’s fears and desires.

The claws were even larger than those Gu Chen had seen before, glinting with icy sharpness. Each swipe seed to tear through the void itself. With every step it took, the ground fractured like tofu, incapable of enduring its weight.

The abyss stretching across the horizon appeared to have been ford by a single strike of its claw.

More unnervingly, this creature bore wings on its back. The wingspan was vast, enveloping the sky. Their mbranes were adorned with intricate and mysterious patterns, and each flap accompanied spatial distortions and thunderous booms.

Beneath those wings, however, spun circles of black halos. The halos rotated slowly, emanating a deathly aura that inspired dread, as though capable of devouring all life, dragging everything into eternal darkness.

Its exposed fangs were extraordinarily sharp, and each breath it exhaled ca with resonant thunderclaps. The emitted breath transford into wisps of black smoke, lingering in the air, withered the vegetation it passed over, and eradicated vitality, leaving everything in sterile silence.

Gu Chen was overwheld with tumultuous shock. He had never encountered a creature so enormous and eerie.

The darkness radiating from this being was distinct from the Dark King he had seen before.

This must be the bizarre clan ntioned by the elder.

A being superior to dark lifeforms, the origin of all.

“A re ant dares to act presumptuously before this seat!” The creature spoke, its voice like thunder, causing Gu Chen’s eardrums to ache.

Although he couldn’t understand the words, he unmistakably felt the icy malice and rage embedded within them. Most of all, the sheer volu was overwhelming—as the distance narrowed to re thousands of miles, this voice felt capable of sunder the continent as it fell.

Thankfully, Gu Chen had broken through to the realm of a Quasi-Immortal Emperor, and coupled with his profound foundation, comparable to that of veteran Quasi-Immortal Emperors. Otherwise, in earlier days, the roar alone might’ve taken almost his entire life.

Gu Chen stood proudly in the void, surrounded by a faint purple mist seeping from his pores. It was as though a storm of blinding purple fog had arisen, boundless and raging like a tempestuous sea—yet in stalwart opposition to the eerie gray mist around him, neither yielding an inch.
