"Uncle Moon, you already promised to look after our child. I hope you didn’t forget your words..." Alex playfully said, making Thomas laugh happily.
"Hahaha, of course not..." Thomas gazes at Alex and Aurora before continuing. "I will make sure to accompany them until they grow old. Or maybe they’ll have their own family too."
"Yes, you must be, Uncle Moon!" Alex smiled as he gently squeezed Aurora’s hand. He could feel how happy his wife was at that mont. Her eyes bead with joy as she smiled.
For a while, they happily chatted in the garden, discussing their plans for the unborn baby.
Aurora was so overwheld with joy that she couldn’t hide her happiness when talking about it with her father and Alex.
As the sun climbed higher in the sky, Alex finally said his goodbyes to Thomas Moon; he had to head to the office.

When Alex and Aurora strolled back to his main house, he excitedly shared his mother’s plan to co over and join her for lunch.
Aurora didn’t protest; instead, she felt happy because her relationship with Sophia was much better than her past life.
"I truly appreciate her coming here to support , but I hope she’s not overreacting about my pregnancy."
"Hahaha, I apologize if I’ve seed overly dramatic recently, Rory," Alex responded gently, knowing her concerns. "This is my first experience with a pregnant wife, and I was uncertain about how to handle it. I hope you can understand ...huh!?"
Alex chuckled as he thought about how he’d been acting around Aurora lately. Still, his smile faded as soon as he saw her displeased expression.
"Sorry, my darling wife. I won’t talk about them again." He grinned faintly while rubbing his neck. A hint of guilt swallowed him as he realized he was bringing up his ex in their conversation. He had already promised her that he wouldn’t ntion them again.
In a rush, Alex attempts to divert her attention from her frustration. "Don’t worry. I haven’t ntioned your pregnancy to my mother yet. I want you to share it with her directly."
A warm smile slowly brightened Aurora’s face as she continued her walk. She glanced at him and shared her feelings, "Thank you, Alex... I will tell her later when I have the right ti."
"But Rory, I may get ho late today. You rember my scheduled eting with governnt officials, right?"
Alex reminded her as they walked up to the second floor. He felt hesitant about his dinner eting with one of the ministers, but understood this was important for his company.
"I understand, Alex. I plan to attend the eting, but you’ve asked to stay ho," she said softly, though a hint of protest flickered in her gaze.
She added, "But it’s fine; I’m only there to support whatever you decide, not to influence your decision..."
He smiled at her as he hurried to the bathroom to freshen up before going to the office.

Sophia Morisson arrived just before lunch, bringing many delicious foods from the main house.
Aurora and Tina, who welcod her at the main entrance, were amazed to see her packing so many things as if she wanted to feed the whole village.
"Sophia, why did you bring so much food?" Aurora asked, smiling as they began arranging everything on the kitchen island table.
"Oh dear, Aurora... you must focus on eating healthy food. Plenty, too. Rember, the right nutrition can help you get pregnant more quickly," Sophia smiled.
Aurora, "..."
Suddenly, Sophie stopped arranging her food and looked at Aurora again.
A flicker of concern flashed in her eyes as she said, "Oh, right. Tina ntioned you lost your appetite recently. Did you not enjoy the food the chef prepared for you? I would be more than happy to co and cook for you if you’d like..."
Sophia offered with a joyful, beaming smile.
Before Aurora could respond, Tina chid in, "Yes, Ma’am, my young Madam lately didn’t like to eat. I’m worried she will get sick. Just like today, she suddenly feels unwell..."
Aurora was left speechless. Now, she understands why Sophia ca here with so many things. She even bought nurous cakes, fruits, and everything she usually enjoys eating. It’s because Tina inford her.
’Wow, Aunty Tina, when did you beco a spy for Sophia?’ She laughs inwardly at the sight of them teaming up to make her gain weight, to get her to eat healthy food so that she gets pregnant, but in reality, she is already pregnant.
’Should I tell them?’ Aurora wonders as she accepts a bowl of berries that Tina offers her.
"Today, let’s eat grilled lobster and stir-fry vegetables. What do you think, Aurora? Would you like to eat it if I cook it for you?" Sophia asked.
"Sophia, I will gladly and excitedly eat whatever you cook. My faith in your taste buds and culinary skills is without reservation."
Aurora complinted sincerely. Despite having been the Madam of the Graystone house and family for years, she understood that Sophia still personally cooked for her family and was truly the best cook.
Watching Sophia and Tina work in the kitchen while she enjoyed her fresh fruit made her feel guilty.
"Aunty Tina, Sophia, please let help too. Please!?" Aurora begged.
Sophia glanced at Aurora warmly and replied, "Oh dear, I’m sorry. But you can’t help us. And we don’t need it, either. Alex reminded that you aren’t feeling your best today and asked to ensure you don’t tire yourself out."
"Young Madam, we’re good. We’re almost finished here! Your help wasn’t necessary this ti," Tina said with a playful grin, noticing the protest reflected in Aurora’s eyes. "Feel free to relax in the living room, and I’ll let you know when the food is ready..." she added cheerfully.

’Gosh, they don’t know I’m pregnant, but they already pampered this much. What happens if they know?’ Just thinking about it already makes Aurora feel exhausted.
After a few tis, Aurora offered to help, but they kindly insisted she take a break in the living room instead. Eventually, she decided to relax and went to the cozy living room, settling comfortably on the sofa while scrolling through her cell phone.
She was surprised to see there was a missed call from Renata.
’Why, Rena, call this early?’ she wondered and called her back.
"Rorry, you finally called ," Renata’s cheerful tone could be heard from the other end. She didn’t even wait for Aurora to respond. Renata continued, "Can you stop by the restaurant today?"
Aurora feels sorry about hearing her invitation, as she knows she won’t be able to go today. She misses visiting her because the last ti was two weeks ago.
"What’s going on? Why did you suddenly invite to go there?" Aurora asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity about Renata’s excitent.
Renata let out a little sigh of disappointnt.
"Oh, Rory... Why? Can you co? There’s sothing I want to tell you." Renata sounded slightly whiny, as she often did when she discreetly wanted sothing badly.
"Geez, why do you sound so demanding?" Aurora laughed before continuing, "Unfortunately, I can’t today since my mother-in-law is visiting. I can’t go out because she’ll likely join us for dinner."
There’s a pause in the air as Renata seems surprised to hear Aurora’s words. "Oh, why did she suddenly visit you on weekdays?" she asked suspiciously.
"I don’t know. Perhaps it’s because she missed ?" Aurora said nonchalantly. She preferred not to reveal that she felt unwell this morning, worried Renata might visit her again.
A cheerful laugh rang out from the other end, accompanied by Renata’s enthusiastic voice, "Well, I can’t believe she is a completely different person now, Rory. I’m so happy for you; she’s actually not the evil mother-in-law I worried about..."
"Yeah. That’s because her son loves , and it shows her that we are in a real deal now that we want a child."
Aurora suddenly paused, feeling a mix of disbelief and surprise that she had just ntioned the topic of having a child.
"Oh my gosh, Rory! Are you and Alex expecting...?" Renata’s excited tone echoed from the other end.
’How could she co to that conclusion?’ Aurora was left without words.
"I will tell you directly if we are pregnant!" Aurora answers casually. "Oh, right. Stop talking about . Why are you asking to go there?" She quickly distracts her.
"Ugh, I can’t tell you over the phone, Rory. We need to et up. This is sothing important." Renata answered, her voice sounding heavy enough to make Aurora guess sothing.
Slowly, a smile appeared on Aurora’s lips as sothing crossed her mind. She tried not to sound excited; she asked, "Girl, tell , did Danny ask you to be her girlfriend?"
Instead of an answer, Renata laughed.
"Oh, co on, Rory, of course not. He didn’t ask to beco his girlfriend. But he did ask to beco his wife!"
"What the... He proposed to you?"
"Mhmm!"
Aurora feels warmth and joy in her heart and mind for her best friend. "Did you accept it?"
"You know what, Rory? This is because of you and Alex. You both constantly display public affection in front of us, which makes jealous! Yes, I do accept him."
"Oh wow, congratulations, Rena! I’m really happy for you..."
