The following day, at the Hamilton family mansion.

Max awoke feeling wretched. His body ached as if he had just endured a beating, and his head throbbed as if it might burst.

Last night, he followed David to the club; it was his first experience in such a place.

He regretted agreeing to tag along with David and vowed never to return to a place like that again.

A groan escaped Max’s lips as he stretched his body.

"Damn it! I will never visit that place again!! Never!!"

He tossed his blanket aside and sat on the edge of the bed, but he was not even sitting properly. A man’s voice from the seating area in the corner startled him.

"Which place did you visit last night that made you look so miserable?"

Max was taken aback to find his older brother Danny sitting on the sofa, watching him with an intense glare as if he were ready to hit him.

"Big brother, what brings you here so early?" Max asked, puzzled. His brother had rarely been back at the main house since he moved out to live in his penthouse.

"This is nearly ten, Max!" Danny replied, shaking his head. "Keep your last na in mind. Never act in a way that could bring trouble to our family, or I will personally discipline you!"

Max silently cursed himself and glanced at the digital clock on the bedside table, surprised to see he had overslept. That’s why his entire body felt terrible.

"I get it, bro! I promise I won’t do anything wrong. I just went out to the club and had drinks with my friends," Max replied, feeling powerless.

Danny silently sighed as he observed how terrible his younger brother looked.

"Co join here. I need to ask you about sothing." He gestured for him to sit opposite him.

"What is it, bro...?" Max asked, running his fingers through his ssy hair.

Max was curious to see Danny in his room; he usually waited for him in the living room when he wanted to talk to him.

Danny paused for a mont. He hadn’t been able to sleep since last night after talking with Renata.

He couldn’t grasp what Renata was trying to convey, as she always hesitated to speak as if sothing was holding her back.

After their conversation near midnight, Renata gave up trying to discuss it with him. She simply asked him to rember anything unusual or intriguing about Aurora Spencer from their first encounter until now.

All night, he struggled with that, and for so reason, the unusual thoughts that had first erged when he encountered Aurora at the Serendipity restaurant began to resurface. Her deanor closely resembled that of his best friend, Aurora Moon.

As his thoughts beca increasingly tangled, sothing interesting struck him: Could Aurora Moon actually be reincarnated in Aurora Spencer’s body?

"You’re friends with Aurora Spencer, right? How well do you know her?" Danny asked with a gentle smile, trying to appear calm.

"Oh, I just realized I forgot to ask you! How do you know Aurora Spencer, my friend? I recall she never got caught up in any legal cases," Max asked. This puzzled him, but he always failed to call his brother to ask.

"Can you not answer a question with another question?" Danny expressed his frustration. "Answer first!"

"Sorry, bro," Max chuckled, searching for the right words to reply to Danny. "Well, she is my classmate... I guess I’m not really close to her. I try not to be friends..."

Max’s answer confused Danny. Aurora was pretty and smart. Why didn’t he want to be friends with her?

"What do you an? Why didn’t you want to be her friend?" Danny inquired.

"Seriously, brother? Why are you suddenly asking about her?" Max asked again.

"Damn it, Maxwell Hamilton! You have the talent to beco a brilliant lawyer. Yet you choose a different path. You’re such a foolish young man."

Danny felt irritated when talking to Max. He would never have brought it up with him if he weren’t so confused about his suspicions regarding Aurora Spencer.

"Quit asking , but you have to answer..." Danny insisted.

Max’s expression remains the sa as when he tells Danny about Aurora, who is obsessed with him. She chased him and made him feel uncomfortable.

He had never liked her since he had already had a crush on Aurora Moon. He also disliked her because they shared the sa na as his crush. That’s why he consistently pushed her away.

Danny was shocked by Max’s confession. He never knew about his brother’s feelings for Aurora Moon.

But Danny was even more shocked and confused to learn that Aurora Spencer liked his brother.

He remained silent for a mont, pondering sothing and searching for the missing piece in his thoughts.

After so ti, Danny glanced at Max again and inquired, "Since when did she suddenly decide not to pursue you anymore?"

Max shrugged, feeling annoyed to rember those tis.

"Recently, if I’m correct...two months ago. She suddenly transford; she seems like a different person to ." Max explained.

"She changed a lot?" Danny felt a chill as everything in his mind beca clear.

However, Danny tried to reason and dismissed his absurd thought: Maybe she changed because she knew her father had arranged for her to wed Alexander Graystone.

"Yes, bro... I can accept and understand if she no longer has feelings for . But sothing seems off about her. Her attitude has changed dramatically; Aurora Spencer used to be timid, but now she seems slightly elated and full of confidence."

Max took a deep breath and continued, "Not only did she change towards , but our other classmate too. Her personality has shifted significantly, and it makes wonder if soone has taken her soul."

Max’s words instantly transford Danny’s calm expression into one of shock.

’Oh, my Lord! Is it true? Rory has been reborn as Aurora Spencer?’

Hearing this thought sent chills down Danny’s spine as he felt emotionally overwheld.

Danny said nothing more to Max and left the room, needing to call Aurora to confirm his absurd guess!
