"This is serious trouble, Alex! I’m worried that this person has ulterior motives to attack us," Patrick said, his concerned gaze fixed on Alex.

A fine line slowly creased Alex’s forehead as he heard Patrick’s words.

It’s difficult for him to accept that Patrick can’t identify that person; he knows just how capable Patrick is.

"Are you sure you can’t?" Alex asked.

Patrick shook his head in frustration. "Alex, if I could do that, I wouldn’t co here and ask you to check this?"

He added, "That’s why I ca here... because I know you are the best in this area, but you are too lazy to help at Stardust Tech!"

"Well, you are right that I’m more capable than you. But I’m not lazy; I’m just busy with other things." Alex chuckled before he took back the laptop and tried to locate the person who had sent the weird hidden ssage to Patrick.

Alex’s calm face gradually tightened, and his fingers danced more quickly across the laptop keyboard, creating a lively rhythm.

After several intense minutes, his fingers slowly glided across the keys and eventually halted.

Although his expression was less tense, revealing a certain calmness, his eyes shifted to Patrick, turning icy.

"Did you find the sender?" Patrick asked, his voice tight and worried as he looked at Alex.

Patrick felt sowhat perplexed by Alex’s intense gaze, which seed to reflect anger and confusion. Was Alex really able to find that person? He couldn’t tell.

Alex sighed silently before asking, "What did you do, Patrick? Why did you offend her?"

Patrick’s frown deepened in confusion as he processed Alex’s words.

"Offended her? She? Who are you talking about?" Patrick extended his hand to Alex, asking for his laptop back.

Alex offered his laptop. "You can see it for yourself!" he said calmly, staring at Patrick while wondering why that person had sent such a silly ssage to Patrick.

"What the hell happened here!? This is indeed Zee? Why did she reach out to all of a sudden?" Patrick stared at his laptop screen in disbelief.

After reviewing the code on the laptop screen, he felt quite certain that the individual was truly Zee.

He looked at Alex, puzzled, and asked, "Why didn’t she talk to like normal? I hardly speak to her since she’s always been in touch with Roryn, but she knows how to reach . Why would she send those questions in that way?"

Alex took his ti before responding to Patrick, as his mind was filled with many thoughts at that precise mont.

After noticing Patrick’s impatience, he finally spoke, "Did she know about Rory’s death!? Is that why she sent that encrypted ssage?"

"I think she is already aware of it. A week after Rory’s passing, I contacted her and told her about it. Yet, she never replied to . I am also puzzled about why she contacted like this."

A frown appeared on Alex’s face, and for a while, he seed to think deeply about sothing. However, not long after, his words shocked Patrick.

"It seems she wanted to tell you how weak your firewall is, Patrick. She’s able to communicate with you without you being able to trace her," Alex said in a calm tone, although his intense gaze showed his concern.

Patrick ran his hand through his hair, feeling frustrated. All this ti, Aurora Moon had always been present to assist him. They both excel in handling electronic and computer security, protecting the entire Stardust Group from cyber attacks.

But now? For almost two months, Aurora Moon had been gone. Patrick also didn’t have ti to make security updates and improvents; he was too busy with his routine managent tasks. Unfortunately, he lacked anyone on his team who could assist him.

That’s why Patrick needs new people like Aurora Spencer—soone he can trust and who is also able to match him.

What happened today feels like a wake-up call for Patrick, not just for him but also for Stardust Tech. It would be troubleso if soone with bad intentions from outside tried to ss with them or attack their cybersecurity.

After a while, Patrick glanced back at Alex. "Man, you know I can’t handle this alone, right? I need your help!"

"I know!" Alex answered him briefly. He understands that, but just thinking about returning to handle those things makes him feel exhausted already.

Later, an idea crossed Patrick’s mind. His eyes bead as he said, "Alex, should we hire Zee to join our company!? I an, help us..."

Alex didn’t expect Patrick to co up with the idea; he thought this man would force him to return to handle those matters at Stardust Tech. Still, he also agreed with the idea.

"Even though that person is close to Rory, she is an outsider, Patrick. You have to be careful. Besides, I hear from Rory that she didn’t work for one person or corporation, even if you offer her huge money..."

"I get that she doesn’t want any commitnts; she’s a bit unusual in her job choices." Patrick shook his head, reflecting on the challenges of hiring Zee.

Patrick’s eyes locked on Alex as he spoke, "Alex, can you help? Perhaps if you ask her politely, she might agree. I an, not without compensation... We can offer her a substantial fee to act as our consultant or sothing like that?" His suggestion left Alex confused.

"I will try! But you better ask her why she sent that foolish question," Alex said before standing up from his seat.

Alex dismissed Patrick imdiately. He needed to continue his work, or he might not be able to leave the office on ti with his wife this afternoon.
