Altron looked over at his sister when she said those words and sighed because he couldn't hide everything from her.

When Altron inherit the Marquis (Grand Duke) noble title and beca the new Patriarch of the household, and at the sa ti, he also serves as an Instructor at the academy, and it beca a hectic schedule for him on how to handle his ti as the Marquis and as an Instructor.

However, even though their father disappeared from that ti after passing the noble title to him, one of his father's trusted aides assist him for the ti being and that person beca the temporary head but only took over the general affairs for the household while Altron serves as an Instructor at the academy.

After a year had passed, his little sister, Felicity graduated from the academy and went back to the household in the central region, and she took over the managent for the household affairs on his behalf after the temporary head passed into her and beca the temporary headmaster of the household.

Most young ladies from prominent households didn't know how to handle household general affairs and political stuff and everything related to the political parliant of the Empire.

However, Felicity is different from other noble ladies.

Or much rather, the Chevaliers are different from other noble households because unlike the others who saw their daughters as political tools for marriage alliances, the won who had the blood of the Chevaliers, be on the branch family or main family, they only followed on what their heart desires them.

Although they were subjected to marriage alliance but since inter-marriages amongst relatives are a norm then, that wouldn't be a problem for them.

'Felicity had the blood of the Chevaliers running through his veins and she didn't let herself clouded by the pressure amongst her peers and she surpassed all of them in terms of swordsmanship and her academics in one go.'

That's why both Altron and Felicity held an equal authority that was recognized by the public and the reason why she held the title of Lady Marchioness for a mont until Altron married soone else and to have an official Marchioness on the household.

He snapped from those thoughts as he rembered that they have two guests inside the office and Altron looked over at them since from the beginning they haven't spoken yet.

Or maybe not…

"Ahmm… If you guys wanted, both and Francis would step outside for now and just call us later then."

Altron shook off his head as he spoke; "No need for that, Lady Lorraine. I just suddenly rember them and beca nostalgic for a mont though."

He said as he smiled bitterly upon reminiscence those days when their father is still present within this manor and when their youngest brother, their brother that they had neglected ever since they ca to this manor years ago, was still alive back then.

Sotis, he felt that if they didn't neglect their youngest brother or be wary of him because of his biological mother's mysterious background then, things would be different then.

For example, his early death…

Because from those fragnted mories that he had from the past-future events and with the help of [Enigma's Judgent], Ezekiel's scheduled death was from seven years in the future and that's what he saw from those fragnted mories that he had however….

'I had a feeling that sothing wasn't right either or is it just my hallucination or sothing?'

He felt exhausted and sotis he wanted to rest from all of this, but he couldn't. As much as he wanted to but there is sothing that prevents him for doing it.

"I'm sorry for saying out of nowhere but I just couldn't help but noticed that only the two of you siblings are around here. I an, don't you have any family mbers staying in this household or sothing?"

The tense atmosphere vanished when Francis spoke for the first ti since he hadn't spoken for a while, even back then in the dining hall.

For that mont, Altron sighed in relief because it felt like a heavy weight lifted off from his shoulders when Francis suddenly asked that question.

'I don't know if he just wanted to distract from those thoughts or sothing but still, I thank him for that though.'

He thought as he took a deep breath and was about to answer when Felicity spoke first.

"If you're asking about the other Chevalier mbers, most of them took residence in our territory at the western borders since that's where the main household of the Chevaliers resides where most defense are needed."

Altron noticed both Lorraine and Francis frowned at Felicity's statent, and he could understand it.

"What? I thought the main household of the Chevaliers are inside this central region?"

Lorraine questioned her and the one who took over on explaining is none other than Altron himself.

"Well, as you can see, most of the nobles had residence within the central region since this region is where the Stellarus Royal Palace resides and most of the ti, we nobles are being called in the Palace to report but most high-ranking noble households had a territory for them to lead and the Chevalier's ancestral territory is none other than in the western borders."

He paused for a mont before he continued; "Actually, after and my sister settled everything here in the central region, we will go back to our territory and since I beca the Marquis, I need to lead our territory there."

Since in the western borders where most of the monsters are swarming around all year long, the Chevaliers duty is to defend the Empire from these monsters, as well as invaders from the other Empires and kingdoms alike.

Although the Stellarus Empire held the most power within the Cranus Continent, they couldn't let their guard down even a bit.

"However, in the western borders, only the direct bloodline of the Chevaliers are allowed to stay and took residence there, especially for those mbers who awakened the Knight Warrior bloodline and for most part, only for those people who had awakened the Knight Warrior bloodline who were allowed to carry on the Chevalier na."

He explains to their guests, and he noticed that both of them had frowned and Altron could tell what that could be.

"But if that was the case then, why was—"

Francis spoke mid-sentence but was cut off by Felicity instead.

"You ask why our deceased youngest little brother, who was known for unable to manifest the Knight Warrior bloodline had a Chevalier on his na?"

Felicity said in a sorrowful tone and the two guests could tell that the Lady Marchioness almost teared up if she didn't compose herself.

"A simple explanation that we only conclude. Maybe it's because for his protection."

"Protection, you say?" Lorraine asked with a perplexed expression on her face.

"Actually, we don't know the actual reason for our father to let Ezekiel have the Chevalier na on him because the mont our father brought back Lady Aryna and the eight-year-old Ezekiel from that ti, our father already bestowed the Chevalier na on him, and the forr Marchioness was against it from that ti, but she couldn't do anything since it's our father's decision then."

Up until to this day, the three siblings didn't know the actual reason for their father to bestow the Chevalier na to Ezekiel the mont he was brought back with his biological mother in the past and they only conclude that it was for his protection then.

"Well, a fair reason though. I don't want to say anything since it's disrespectful to speak about the dead though."

Francis said as he ended his statent like that and the other three could only hum in agreent because what Francis said is true though.

"Sorry, it's just a sudden—"

Altron got startled because of the sudden intrusion of soone in his office and the other three got their guard up to prepare themselves for an incoming fight of that unknown intruder.

However, before the four of them launched an attack on the intruder, a familiar silhouette got the two Chevaliers stopped for a mont.

Altron put away his manifested weapon and told others to calm down for a bit as well and Lorraine lower down her guard and put away her little daggers that she hid amongst her sleeves since she recognize the intruder.

However, for Francis, he just lowered hand but was still on guard because he didn't know this intruder, well, practically, he knew who this person was but pretended not to know him to avoid suspicions.

When everyone had already cald down, Altron looked at the person who just suddenly barged into his office and berated him in annoyance.

"FOR ARDUS' SAKE, HARRISON! Is that a befitting position as a Count for you to suddenly just—"

However, Altron's charade sentence was cut off when the words coming from the newly arrived Harrison widened their eyes in shock.

"There's a news coming from the Royal Palace, the Crown Prince Alois…. Was found dead on his bedroom!"
