Anna had been feeling nervous the entire ti, her heart fluttering restlessly in her chest. But the second she caught Daniel’s reflection in the mirror, sothing inside her shifted.

The hesitation faded.

She was no longer cautious or uncertain. More importantly, she found herself anticipating the way Daniel would love her this ti. A quiet excitent replaced her nerves, spreading warmth through her body.

She had once felt shaless for demanding sothing so bold, sothing she would have previously considered absurd. Yet now, standing on the edge of surrender, she didn’t want shyness to steal this mont from her. They were only a breath away from crossing that line, and she wanted to embrace it fully.

"Good," Daniel whispered into her ear.

His voice was low and satisfied, sending a tremor down her spine. He buried his face into the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent before pressing a slow kiss there. At the sa ti, he moved into her, no longer holding back, and she gasped at the sudden fullness.

"Ah—!"

Anna’s eyes fluttered shut as heat rushed through her veins. The sensation of him inside her, strong and insistent, made her fingers curl against the sheets. Every movent sent waves of pleasure rippling through her body, leaving her breathless and trembling.

Daniel groaned as well, the sound deep and raw. This intensity, this overwhelming connection, was sothing he had never experienced before. The feeling of having his beloved wife respond exactly as she wished to, to see her desire so openly mirrored in her eyes, made everything more intoxicating.

"You asked for it, wifey," he murmured.

He lifted his hand to her chin, gently guiding her to look at him. Their gazes locked, heavy with desire and unspoken understanding. There was no doubt between them now—only heat and longing.

When Daniel began to move with greater urgency, her entire body shook beneath the force of it. Each thrust pulled soft cries from her lips, her back arching instinctively as pleasure built relentlessly.

In her past life, when Anna would wait endlessly for Daniel, she had often drowned herself in the erotic books Roseline would bring each ti she visited the Bennett household. Roseline would offer advice disguised as concern, telling her how she could seduce her own husband, especially after failing to conceive in the early days of her marriage.

At first, Anna had rejected the suggestions outright, insisting she did not need such guidance. She believed love alone should be enough. But Roseline was persistent. She would leave the books behind anyway, planting ideas Anna tried to ignore.

Yet curiosity had a quiet power.

The scenes she read about—the whispered promises, the slow touches, the heated confessions—would stir sothing deep within her. Her imagination would run wild in the solitude of her room. She would picture Daniel the way a wife secretly dreams of her husband: attentive, passionate, devoted solely to her.

She imagined how he would hold her, how he would look at her with hunger and tenderness intertwined. The thought of him loving her the way those stories described made her heart race. It left her giddy, flushed, and undeniably aroused—tempted by desires she had once been too shy to acknowledge.

Now, as Daniel moved with confidence and possessive affection, those old fantasies no longer belonged to imagination alone. They were real—warm, breathless, and unfolding before her.

And this ti, she wasn’t turning away from them.

Daniel kissed her hungrily, his lips claiming hers as he continued to move against her with growing intensity. Each motion drew them closer to the edge, their breaths mingling, their bodies moving in perfect rhythm. The heat between them built steadily, until neither of them could hold back any longer.

Together, they reached their peak, surrendering completely to the overwhelming wave of pleasure that consud them both.

Anna lay on top of Daniel while he slowly traced the curve of her spine with his fingertips. His touch was gentle now, unhurried, a complete contrast to the intensity they had just shared. She didn’t say a word, but the soft smile resting on her lips spoke volus. The happiness in her eyes was unmistakable—and Daniel felt it too.

He brushed a strand of hair away from her face, studying her expression with quiet satisfaction.

"I think we should keep exploring more," she said suddenly, her voice light and playful. "It’s so much fun." She giggled, the sound bubbling out of her so freely that it made Daniel chuckle.

"As you say, wifey," he replied without hesitation.

How could he possibly deny her? There was very little in this world he wouldn’t do for her, and seeing her this excited—this open and unguarded—only made him want to indulge her more.

They continued to stare at each other in comfortable silence, the air between them calm and warm. But then Anna’s expression shifted slightly, curiosity flickering in her eyes.

"Who were you talking with?" she asked.

Daniel paused, one brow arching in amusent at the sudden question.

Anna imdiately let out an awkward giggle. "I know, I know... I’m not supposed to be that curious," she admitted. "But while I was waiting for you—wearing the lingerie—I might have been... practicing a few poses."

Her cheeks flushed faintly as she continued, "I was trying to figure out how to seduce you properly. And when I heard your footsteps outside our room, I also heard you talking to soone."

She bit her lower lip, suddenly feeling shy again. "So... I just wondered."

It was a rare, once-in-a-blue-moon situation for Anna to look so flustered, and Daniel couldn’t help but find it endearing. Still, he had no intention of hiding anything from her. There were no secrets between them—at least none he was willing to keep.

"It was Henry," he said calmly. "He was informing about Collin visiting my aunt."

Anna imdiately pulled back, propping herself up on his chest. She blinked in surprise, her earlier playfulness replaced by alert curiosity.

"What could they have talked about?" she muttered absentmindedly, more to herself than to him.

It had already been strange enough for her to receive Roseline’s and Collin’s conversation through that anonymous ssage. That incident had unsettled her deeply. And now, learning that Collin had t with Norma only fueled her suspicions further.

A faint crease ford between her brows.

Why would Collin visit Norma? What connection did they share? Was it coincidence—or sothing carefully planned?

Daniel watched her thoughtful expression and understood exactly what was going through her mind. He would have felt the sa. Collin was not soone who moved without reason, especially not after everything that had happened.

"I’ve been thinking about that too," Daniel admitted quietly, his fingers resting at her waist. "It doesn’t feel random."

As he considered the situation more carefully, one conclusion beca clear to him. The eting wasn’t absurd or aningless—it carried intention. Ever since Collin had escaped, he had been cautious, deliberate. He had only t Norma once before.

That wasn’t a coincidence.

Daniel’s jaw tightened slightly. "This wasn’t a casual visit," he said. "If Collin went to see her again, it ans there’s sothing they’re planning."

Anna’s gaze darkened with the sa realization. The room, which had monts ago been filled with warmth and laughter, now felt heavier with unspoken tension.

Whatever Collin was doing, it wasn’t accidental.

And that worried them both.
