Daniel slipped under the duvet with a smoothness that caught Anna completely off guard. In one swift motion, he positioned himself right between her legs.

Anna gasped, tossing the duvet aside—and froze when she saw Daniel grinning up at her from the space between her thighs.

"Daniel! What kind of indecent behaviour is this?" she sputtered, her cheeks heating. "Aren’t you afraid of hurting your waist?"

Her concern only made his grin deepen.

He blinked innocently, clearly not taking her warning seriously—until she lifted her leg, aiming to nudge him away. Daniel moved faster, pinning her legs down before she could land her usual, unpredictable counterattack.

"Not today, wifey," he murmured, a low, relieved chuckle escaping him. "I’m not letting you toss off the bed again."

By now, Daniel was thoroughly familiar with Anna’s spontaneous kicks that always ended up injuring his back, hips, or even his pride. This ti, he was ready. The disbelief on her face—the way her eyes widened at being outmaneuvered—made him laugh softly.

"Y-You—how dare you—"

"No more scolding, wifey," he cut in smoothly, voice dipping. "It’s ti for my dose."

Before Anna could finish her threat, Daniel lowered his head and buried his face between her thighs.

Anna’s breath hitched sharply. Her throat tightened as her words dissolved into silence, swallowed back down with a shaky gulp.

Daniel’s lips brushed against the sensitive skin of her inner thigh—slow, deliberate, teasing. He inhaled softly, as though savoring the warmth of her, then pressed another lingering kiss higher... and higher...

Anna’s fingers curled into the sheets, her heartbeat fluttering wildly.

And Daniel—utterly pleased with her reaction—continued tracing a path of feather-light kisses toward the place that always made her crumble.

Daniel’s lips lingered on the inside of her thigh, warm and deliberate—each kiss placed with a kind of reverence that made Anna’s breath grow uneven. She shivered, not from cold but from the way his mouth moved as though mapping her, learning every place that made her muscles tighten.

His hands slid up the sides of her hips, steadying her as if she were sothing precious he was afraid to mishandle. His grip was gentle but firm enough to keep her from wriggling away—because Anna would, if given the chance. She’d always been quick to fluster, quicker to retaliate, but right now... she was still. Breathless.

"Daniel..." she whispered, her voice barely more than warm air against the room’s quiet.

He glanced up, his eyes gleaming with a mix of mischief and sothing deeper—sothing that softened the grin tugging at the corner of his lips.

"Don’t look at like that," he teased, though his voice had gone rough. "You’ll make lose control."

Anna’s fingers instinctively reached down, brushing through his hair—trying to push him away, yet pulling him closer in the sa motion. She was torn between annoyance and anticipation, her body betraying her.

Daniel’s smile widened at the contradiction.

"See?" he murmured, planting another sultry kiss on her thigh. "Your legs say ’go away,’ but your hands tell a different story."

Her heart lurched. "Stop talking nonsense."

He humd against her skin, sending a subtle tremor through her.

"Then stop reacting like this," he whispered, his breath warm, almost ticklish, against the sensitive spot he knew made her weak.

Anna’s lips parted. The soft gasp she let out was unintentional—but Daniel caught it. He always did.

His hands eased further up her hips, fingers tracing slow circles, grounding her while also making her nerves spark. His movents were unhurried, almost loving—contrasting sharply with the teasing grin he’d approached her with.

"Wifey," he said in a voice ant only for her, "I’ve had a long day. And I need this. I need you."

The sincerity in his tone disard her more than his touches.

Anna blinked rapidly, caught between resisting him and lting under the tenderness threaded through his words. "Daniel... you’re impossible."

"And you," he said softly, "are irresistible."

He lowered his head again, brushing his cheek against the inside of her thigh—not kissing this ti, just letting the warmth of his skin rest against hers. A slow exhale left him, as though the contact alone soothed sothing inside him.

Anna felt the tension in her own body shift, sothing inside her softening. Her legs, still pinned gently beneath his hands, relaxed. Her breathing synced with his—slow, hesitant, charged.

Daniel lifted his head and looked at her with a softness that stole the air from her lungs.

Daniel’s hand slid up her thigh with slow purpose, his touch warm and steady. When he reached the delicate fabric she still wore, he paused—just for a breath—lifting his eyes to hers as if asking for silent permission.

Anna’s lips parted, her chest rising and falling in uneven rhythm. She didn’t look away. She didn’t hide. She didn’t feel the old embarrassnt anymore—not with him. Not after everything they had already shared.

Daniel’s fingers hooked gently into the fabric. With a careful, intimate motion, he eased it down her legs and set it aside. His eyes softened the mont she was bare to him, not with hunger but with admiration—like she was sothing precious he was lucky to behold.

"Beautiful..." he murmured, almost to himself.

Anna’s heartbeat fluttered.

Before she could say anything, Daniel leaned in, his breath warm against her skin—a touch that stole the air from her lungs. Then he closed the distance, his mouth moving to her with a tenderness that made her toes curl. His hands held her firmly, grounding her as she arched involuntarily, her voice catching in her throat.

Anna’s fingers sank into his hair, not pushing him away but holding on—clinging to the sensation, the mont, the overwhelming closeness. Daniel’s motions were slow, deliberate, almost worshipful, pulling quiet sounds from her she couldn’t suppress even if she tried.

"Daniel..." she whispered, breathless, the sound trembling from her lips.

He responded with a soft, reassuring hum that vibrated through her, unraveling her completely. Her body trembled, her breath stuttering as she gave in, lost in the warmth and devotion he poured into every touch.

When her strength finally left her, Anna collapsed back against the pillows, her chest heaving as she tried to catch her breath.

Daniel moved up beside her, breathing just as heavily, his forehead lightly touching her shoulder as he tried to regain composure.

"Wifey..." he panted with a breathless laugh, "you’re trying to kill ."

Anna let out a weak chuckle of her own, brushing her fingers through his hair as he rested against her.

She had never expected him, so soon after recovering from that fever, to regain this much strength—this much intensity. She certainly hadn’t anticipated him being the one to leave her shaking.

"I thought you’d still be tired," she whispered, her voice soft and slightly incredulous.

Daniel lifted his head just enough to et her eyes, a lazy, satisfied smile tugging at his lips.

"Oh, I’m exhausted," he admitted, grinning. "But for you? I’ll always find the strength."

Anna felt her heart squeeze painfully at how genuine he sounded. She playfully flicked his forehead, even as warmth spread across her face.

"You’re impossible."

"And you," he murmured, pulling her closer, "are my favorite weakness."
