Chapter 63: Chapter 63: At The Bar

"Yes, I want to teach her a lesson; she insulted

today, and she is married to the person I love; I can not let her be happy," Tang i squeezed the cup in her hand, a crazed expression on her face.

Jiang Lanfen offered a slight smile. Tang i provided her with exactly what she required. Hatred, rage, jealousy, and contempt. She needed to see these expressions on her face, and she was relieved to see them there. This was what she wished to see in her.

"What would you recomnd we do, Miss Tang? I believe you have a lot in your arsenal," Jiang Lanfen complinted Tang i, making her feel better about herself.

"I will have to think about sothing; drop your contact information, and I will get back to you," Tang i instructed, and Jiang Lanfen imdiately produced a card, as if she had anticipated such a scenario.

Tang i raises her eyebrows in response. She did not say anything but accepted the card.

"I recomnd dealing with that little girl, because Xin Yan adores her." Jiang Lanfen had been stalking both of them for quite so ti, and she could tell that Xin Yan adored the young girl.

Tang i’s eyes sparkled slightly. Jiang Lanfen’s assertion appeared to be correct.

However, before making any plans, they needed to think carefully. They could not make any mistakes or they would be punished.

"I will contact you; this eting must be kept confidential," Tang i instructed, and Jiang Lanfen nodded.

Jiang Lanfen quietly exited the café, while Tang i sat there, deep in thought.

She was aware that Jiang Lanfen was using her to teach Xin Yan a lesson. She let out a low sneer, not minding because they both had the sa goal in mind: to bring down Xin Yan.

"Where did you go?" Jiang Lanfen was imdiately questioned by her father, who was seated on the couch and appeared to be expecting her return.

The family’s life has been quite hectic in recent weeks. Not knowing if it was the handwork of soone, but the company which was just established was beginning to face serious issues.

It had only been a year since its inception, but they were already dealing with issues such as substandard construction and tax evasion, to na a few.

Yuan Renshu and Jiang Zhengzhou faced serious issues on a daily basis, and they could only decide to take a break today.

Jiang Lanfen scoffed slightly as she looked at the two n who appeared to have given up.

"Do you intend not to respond?" Yuan Renshu dropped the docunts in his hands as he questioned her.

"I am not obligated to respond to you; where I go or who I see is none of your business; now, if you will excuse , I am tired and need a bath," she said in a rude tone before walking to her bedroom.

Yuan Renshu turned around to look at Jiang Zhengzhou. His gaze asked, ’Did you hear what your beloved daughter just said?’

"You have to give her ti; I believe the company’s situation has affected her," Jiang Zhengzhou continued to look for excuses on behalf of his daughter.

Yuan Renshu looked at him, as if he were insane. They could both see Jiang Lanfen’s change, but he blad it on company issues.

"Affected by the company’s issues?" Yuan Renshu inquired out of anger.

"You give your daughter too much leeway; if anyone should be affected by the company’s issues, it is ; I do not see how she is affected given that she still has ti to go out," Yuan Renshu vented his frustrations, and the old man held his head as he felt a headache coming on.

Yuan Renshu spat, "You know what, I also need a breather," as he picked up his car keys and left the compound.

"Oh my goodness, what is wrong? I do not even have control over the butler; it appears he ratted

out, and I have every reason to believe Li Qiang is involved," Jiang Zhengzhou held his forehead as he rembered the call he received from one of his henchn.

The butler’s family have been rescued. Li Qiang was the only person capable of doing it. He only sighed; years of planning seed to have been for naught because they had t Li Qiang.

anwhile, Yuan Renshu, who had driven out, drove aimlessly.

He felt so many regrets. If he had known, he would not have approached Xin Yan with bad intentions. He recalled the few monts he had with her.

She treated him with sincerity, but his father’s plans had blinded him. Even now, he had no idea why Jiang Zhengzhou devised such a cunning plot.

He drove aimlessly before discovering a bar. He paused for a mont as he fought his inner demons.

One was telling him to walk in, while the other was telling him to leave, which he might later regret.

His hands clenched around the steering wheel, and he was walking into the bar before he could stop himself.

He looked around, and he felt completely out of place in such a setting. But right now, he needed sothing to calm him down, so sort of entertainnt, and he thought this was the best place to find it.

He walked over to the bartender, who sat in front of him.

"It appears you are new," the bartender comnted as he turned to face him.

"You are new, so what would you like to drink?" The bartender changed the subject. It was not his responsibility to inquire about the guests’ concerns; he only needed to serve them.

"I need the strongest drink you have, one that will get

drunk," Yuan Renshu replied, his last words a whisper that showed how exhausted he was.

The bartender pursed his lips as he noticed the worried lines on his brow.

He sighed slightly before proceeding to mix the drink.

"You know what, everything will be fine," he told Yuan Renshu after handing him the drink.

Yuan Renshu smiled at him and asked, "Do you think so?" He asked, taking the drink in one gulp, and motioned for the bartender to refill the glass.

"Yes, everything happens for a reason; we just have to be optimistic," the bartender told him before handing him the glass again.

"Your positive attitude is admirable," Yuan Renshu said, nodding.
