Xin Yan fell asleep crying and Li Qiang had no choice but to tell Gao Yang to drive ho.
When they arrived at the old residence, Li Qiang took her straight to the room.
He was relieved to learn that his grandfather had been playing golf with his forr colleagues.
If Grandpa Li was around, he would be severely reprimanded.

She was gasping heavily as she appeared terrified.
"Xin Yan, what is the problem?" She flinched as she heard a voice and moved away from her position on the bed.
Li Qiang expressed surprise as he looked at her.
"Relax, it is , it was just a bad dream," he reassured her gently, and she was able to regain her clarity.
"I am sorry, I just got a little scared," she coughed, and he imdiately poured her a glass of water.
She drank everything in one gulp before handing him the glass.
"Everything is fine, you are here; it was just a bad dream," he reassured her, the worry in his eyes growing.
She nodded and sighed in relief as she looked at him. She was not expecting to have a nightmare about her past life.
Perhaps his words caused her to think about it, resulting in a nightmare.
"Forget about it; it is just a bad dream," he said to her, and she agreed.
Yes, it was simply a bad dream. This is her present right now.
Her stomach grumbled loudly and she gave him an embarrassed smile.
He let out a throaty laugh before asking, "Are you hungry?"
She gave a sheepish nod. She had not had a good breakfast and had skipped lunch. She glanced at the clock in the room and noticed it was half past five, which ant it was already evening, so she was going to be hungry.
"Freshen up, I will ask Aunty Fei to set the table for you," he told her before leaving the room.
She fixed her gaze on him and only turned away when he left the room. She let out a small laugh. She had to admit that she was really feeling great.
Perhaps one day she will reveal her secret to him. She was aware that his actions were gradually earning him a place in her life, but she was terrified.
She did not want to give her all only to get hurt. She was scarred, and it would be difficult for her to open her heart to soone else.
"You are both still here?" Li Qiang was taken aback when he stepped into the living room. He had not expected the two assistants to still be present.
"We were actually waiting for you," Gao Yang said, scratching his head slightly.
Chen Wenling’s stomach grumbled, and she bit her lips deeply as she felt the two n’s gazes on her.
She suddenly wished that the earth would open up and swallow her.
"Join us for dinner; Xin Yan is awake, so I will ask Aunty Fei to prepare for you both," his lips twitched briefly before he walked into the kitchen.
Gao Yang turned to look at her, chuckling helplessly. He got the impression that the female was extrely hungry.
Xin Yan appeared downstairs a few minutes later, surprised to see them still around.
She shook her head and motioned for them to enter the dining room.
"When is Grandpa going to be back, Aunt Fei?" Xin Yan inquired after they had all taken their seats.
"The old master went for a golf practice with his friends; I am not sure when he will return," Aunty Fei explained as she served them the dishes.
Chen Wenling and Gao Yang left after they finished eating dinner. Li Qiang was gracious enough to let Gao Yang drive one of the cars.
"We will be seeing your Grandpa tomorrow," Li Qiang announced as they sat in the living room.
Xin Yan dropped her magazine and looked at him, "Qiang, do you really want to help
exact my revenge?"
Her question took Li Qiang by surprise. He only took a minute to nod his head.
"Okay, you can help ," she said with a smile, and he laughed.
