"Sister, what do we do now? It won’t be long before they notice our disappearance, what are they going to do?" Li ii questioned, her voice sounded panicky, and she could not hold back the fear she felt.
"Listen, everything will be fine, I assure you, you do not need to cry," Li Chuxi patiently explained to her, assuring her, and herself at the sa ti.
"Li Chuxi, I really admire you, you are strong, but, here I am, the only thing I can do is shed tears, and make things more difficult for you," Li ii wiped her eyes, but more tears fell from her eyes.
Her voice was twinged with a hint of disappointnt, not for Li Chuxi, but herself. She blad herself for being weak, and always crying at the little things.
"Hey, ii, I am not blaming you, and you do not need to change yourself just because of , you are okay just the way you are," Li Chuxi imdiately held Li ii who was seated on the bed, her eyes glistening with tears.
"But sister, I just feel like I am holding you back, if I was not with you, maybe you would have escaped, and would not be in this situation," Li ii continued, despite Li Chuxi’s assurance.
"Li ii, do not speak like that, if you continue, I will be forced to spank you hard, even if you are my twin," Li Chuxi threatened, and Li ii swallowed imdiately.
"I am sorry," Li ii replied with her head lowered. She seed to have realized that she had angered her sister.
"Good that you realize your mistakes, now, let
tell you, you are not a burden, and you will forever remain my little sister," Li Chuxi hugged her, and for the first ti since the ordeal, tears fell from Li Chuxi’s eyes.
"Everything will be fine, I promise you," Li Chuxi consoled her sister, as tears fell from their eyes.
Just as Li Chuxi had predicted, it did not take long before it was discovered that the twins were missing.
Xin Yan marched into Li Qiang’s company, ignoring the greetings from his employees, who decided to stay away from her seeing her terrible countenance.
"Qiang," she called as she barged into his office, he was not alone, though. Gao Yang was there with him.
"I have deployed all my n, they are looking for them," Li Qiang did not wait for her to speak as he reported to her.
"I want my kids, safe and sound, without a scratch," she uttered each word slowly.
Gao Yang was suppressed by the aura of Xin Yan. This was the first ti he had seen Xin Yan unleash such an aura, and this was due to the disappearance of the twins.
"Xin Yan, please take a seat," Li Qiang rose from his seat as he approached her. He was just as annoyed as she was, but he pretended to be calm about it.
"I am worried, why do I feel Wu Tang is behind this? Would he be so wicked to bring the kids into his plot?" Xin Yan questioned, her face could not hide the confusion she felt.
"Recall that he had already brought the kids previously, it is in his nature to choose low-end tactics," Li Qiang carefully reminded her.
"So there is a huge possibility that my babies must be with him, I wonder how they feel, especially Li ii, she is not confident, and she would feel like she dragged her sister down," Xin Yan knew Li ii’s character all too well.
"If Wu Tang is truly behind this, then you people should not bla
for what I will do to him," Xin Yan threatened with her hands clenched.
"For now, we cannot identify if Wu Tang is truly behind it, they are all speculations, and we have to get careful in our speculations," Li Qiang advised, even though he was 90% sure Wu Tang was behind it.
Xin Yan looked up at him, her eyes filled with unshed tears. She was ready to argue with him, but then she saw the look in his eyes, and she forced herself to remain calm.
"Still, after all the controversies, Wu Tang is the most suspicious out of our enemies, I can only pray for our children’s safety," Xin Yan pald her hands, with her eyes closed.
"It will all turn out well," Li Qiang assured her, placing his hand on her shoulder with a fierce determination in his eyes.
At the sa ti, at the mansion turned base, Li Chuxi and Li ii were still locked in the room.
Li Chuxi’s voice was already hoarse from shouting. She had stopped a long ti ago when she realized that no one was going to listen to her.
Li ii had already stopped crying, but her fear and distress were still there, and she could not stop shivering.
All of a sudden, the door to the room was opened, and the two girls jumped out of the bed, eager to bolt out.
"Not so fast," the entrance of the door was blocked by an unfamiliar man who seed to have seen through the girls’ plans.
"Tang Ni, please step forward," it turns out that the man was Wu Tang, just as Xin Yan and Li Qiang had suspected.
"Who are you?" Li Chuxi questioned imdiately, her senses working on an overdrive.
"Oh my! Did I forget to introduce myself? Pardon my manners, my na is Wu Tang, Tang Ni’s father," Wu Tang dramatically introduced himself, but the twins were not impressed.
"Hi, I am Tang Ni, nice to et you," Tang Ni finally stepped out from Wu Tang’s behind, as he approached the two girls for a handshake with a smile on his face.
Li ii’s face blossod with joy seeing soone who was mates with her and her smile reached her eyes for the first ti today.
"Hi, my na is Li ii, and this is my sister Li Chuxi, you can call Xixi, just like I always do," Li ii introduced, much to Li Chuxi’s dissatisfaction.
