Li Qiang watched her intently and she felt shy under his watch, evident with the way she moved on one leg.

"Are you sure you are worried about ?" Li Qiang asked for confirmation.

Of course, he was aware of the worry she had for him, he just decided to tease her a bit. It was fun seeing her show the love she had for him.

He chided himself internally, it wasn’t clear to him why he still had the ti to joke around.

"Is that even ant to be a question? I am worried about you and so are the kids, you should have lunch," she imdiately gave a response in reply to his question.

"It is fine, I was just pulling your legs," he imdiately voiced out for fear of what might happen if he worsened the intensity of her emotions.

She scowled at him before leaving the study, she did not forget to slam the door before leaving, which showed how angry she was.

Li Qiang exhaled tiredly. He knew he had to pacify her. He must have hurt her with his words. Likewise, he also walked out of the office and made his way to the dining room.

Once he arrived in the dining room, he took a seat and the girls’ face brightened on seeing him.

"I am happy you are here dad," Li Chuxi gave him a bright smile, and he nodded at her.

Li Qiang looked towards Xin Yan who was not willing to look towards him and he breathed out. It seed he had hurt her with his words.

"I am sorry," he apologized and everyone turned to look at him, they were startled by his sudden apology, excluding Xin Yan. She knew why he was apologizing.

Aunt Guo looked at the couple, and she grinned from ear to ear. She finally grasped why he apologized just by looking at the nonchalant expression Xin Yan had on.

Xin Yan shook her head at his silly antics. She had already forgiven him.

After lunch, Xin Yan put the girls to sleep. It was best they slept early.

She walked back to her room, and she t Li Qiang dressed in sweatpants only, his upper body bare. She imdiately turned her back against him with her hands over her eyes.

He was surprised by her actions, and an idea suddenly flashed through his mind as he walked closer to her.

"Why did you turn your back against ?" Xin Yan shivered due to how close his voice sounded.

She spun once more, but she did not expect that he was right in front of her.

She reared backwards in order to create distance between the both of them.

Li Qiang noticed the little move she did, but he did not comnt on it.

"I asked a question," he folded his arms, while he looked down at her since he was taller than she was.

"You are not putting on a shirt," she replied with a bashful voice, and he moved his head up and down to show that he caught on what she was trying to say.

"But I believe this is not the first ti you are seeing

without a shirt," he shrugged his shoulders as he pointed it out to her.

"That." she was not aware of how she was to reply to what he ntioned.

"I am waiting for your response," he enjoyed teasing her, as he found it fun.

to say? I did not expect to et you naked imdiately I stepped into the room, I only acted on impulse," Xin Yan stubbornly retorted.

"You should not have reacted that way, from what I know, you have seen

naked nurous tis, so I do not comprehend why your reaction was that extre, if you were to ask , I would think that you are not willing to see my body since it is not up to par," Li Qiang blabbered.

Xin Yan looked at him with parted lips. She wanted to say sothing, but she was too speechless, and she was unable to utter a word.

"It seems my wife does not like my body anymore, I guess it is my fault, I have been slacking off in my exercises," Li Qiang lanted as he paced around the room.

Xin Yan could only stand in shock as she watched him throw a ’tantrum’.

She did not know how to stop him from doing this. It was beyond her expectation he would behave this way.

While he was displaying, she took her ti to observe his body, and she smiled, she was thrilled that this man who everyone desired was hers and nothing could change it.

She felt proud. Li Qiang was like a rose which could only be admired from afar, but this rose was with her, and it was hers alone.

She looked at his well-defined abs and she swallowed slightly. She suddenly had an absurd thought, she wanted to run her hands over his abs, and perhaps, even lick it.

It was a crazy thought and she chided herself internally, but one more look at it caused her to drool

She dared not trail her eyes downwards as she might not be able to withstand the massive stimulation which she would face, after all, he was putting on just a sweatpants!

While she was lost in her absurd thoughts, Li Qiang had stopped in front of her. He had a proud smirk on his face, seeing how lost in thought she looked. This was what he was aiming for and he has achieved it.

For a mont, he had montarily forgotten about his grandfather, which was a good thing as it was not nice to be stuck up on the matter.
