After they had discussed, they thanked Dr. Song for his help and headed ho for lunch.

Once they reached ho, Li Chuxi and ii were seated on the sofa, waiting for the both of them to return ho.

"My babies," she smiled at the both of them with an amiable smile but it faded when she recalled that she had two kids who were waiting for her.

"Mom, what is wrong?" Li Chuxi asked as she stared at her with an observant face.

"Nothing, I just got a fly into my eyes," Xin Yan gave a silly excuse as she turned to look at Li Qiang with a subtle smile. She still could not understand why she was very observant.

Li Chuxi stared at her with a strange look. For the first ti since she t her mother, she felt that she was sowhat different.

"Are you sure?" ii asked with a frown, she might not be as sensitive as Li Chuxi, but she was also able to tell that there was sothing wrong with her.

"Everything is fine, do not bother," Xin Yan insisted. She did not want them to be worried about her.

"Have you had lunch?" Xin Yan asked, effectively changing the topic.

Nothing eventful happened during the rest of the day. The family watched movies all day long before they retired back to their rooms.

The next morning, Li Chuxi woke up, sneaking out of the house imdiately.

She wanted to et with soone, specifically, Zheng. He had sent a ssage to her, requesting that he needed to et with Xin Yan and Li Qiang. He had decided to co clean as he could not live with the guilt anymore.

She sneakily brought him in ahd asked him to have his seat.

She had actually missed the bantering with him.

"I will wake them up," she inford him as ii appeared.

"Why are you here?" She asked.

"Good morning sir," Zheng imdiately stood as he greeted while he secretly wiped his sweat. He did not expect to et Li Qiang, the one who is known as the king of hell, the Yama of the business world.

"Who are you?" Li Qiang asked, his brows furrowed. He was also suspicious of him, his kids seed close to him.

"Uhm sir, I have sothing to say to you, I believe it will be very beneficial to you," Zheng imdiately spoke up, he did not want to be thrown out without fulfilling his mission.

"And why should I listen to anything you say?" Right now, Li Qiang had already taken a seat on the single sofa as he looked on with an authoritative aura, which caused Zheng to feel pressured.

Zheng chuckled nervously as he looked towards the clock. It read 7:15am, truly, he was the one who was early.

"I want to leave the country after telling you the truth, I do not want to have anything to do with this country anymore," he spoke with a regretful smile and for so reason, Li Qiang actually felt so pity for him as he could feel that he had a story to tell.

"Go on, I will listen and inform my wife," Li Qiang sounded pride while he ntioned the word, ’wife.’

Zheng heaved a sigh of relief and the kids looked at him, their hearts heating fastly. Finally the truth will be revealed and they will be able to acknowledge their parents without any fear anymore.

He turned to look at the two females who smiled at him. They knew that he must have figured out.

"Are you really my kids?" He asked as he left the seat and approached the girls who were visibly excited that he had found out who they were.

"My kids," he called out with an hoarse voice. He could not believe it, his kids were right under his nose and he did not suspect anything.

He should have known. The closeness he felt towards them, he had never felt that way with any other person. But he was able to warm up with them even if it was not a month yet.

"Daddy," the kids chorused excitedly, their voices and faces filled with various emotions.

He did not say anything but he imdiately engulfed them into an hug, a very tight one at that. He did not want to let them go.

He found his kids, his babies, he never had thought that he will end up as a father to two beautiful girls.

"I am very happy to have you both as my kids," he said to them after they disengaged from the hug.

"We are happy to have you as our dad, you know, it was torture not being able to really to acknowledge you as our dad," ii pouted her lips as she looked at him with dewy eyes and his heart clenched in pain.

He could understand her pain, especially when grandma Xin showed how much she did not want her in their family.

"Or when you adopted , I felt really bad, you are clearly my parents, why do you need to adopt

again?" Li Chuxi aired her own share of grievances.

Li Qiang could only sigh with regret. He could never understand what his kids had passed through.

"I promise that this is the first and last ti, you will never have to lack parental love, your mom and I are ready to shower you both with lots of love and care, you will not lack anything because we are ready to take care and make up for the lost years," Li Qiang promised and the kids nodded, they knew their dad was capable of his promises and they did not need to fret.
