540 The Food I Ordered For You
Lin Yun felt a little amused when she heard Wang Lan’s insincere words.
However, she had no intention of continuing to listen. She only said, “I’m doing very well now. Why did you ask to co today? Why don’t you just say it!”
Wang Lan’s expression turned ugly when she saw that Lin Yun refused to accept her overtures.
“Since you ask, I won’t hide it anymore.” Wang Lan’s tone turned cold, and her attitude was no longer as kind as before.

“You know about Lin Tao’s return, right?” Wang Lan stared intently at Lin Yun, as if she wanted to see sothing on Lin Yun’s face.
“I know.” Lin Yun had no intention of hiding it.
“You know? You do know! That damn Lin Cheng really told you!” Wang Lan growled angrily.
Lin Yun didn’t intend to explain further. She only asked, “Did you look for today for this?”
“That’s right!” Wang Lan said coldly. “I already feel that it’s inappropriate for your father to let you into the company previously!”
“Now, he actually found that little bastard!”
“What is he doing!”
Wang Lan said angrily and slamd her hands on the table.
Lin Yun looked at Wang Lan expressionlessly, having no intention of responding.
Wang Lan panted slightly before continuing to Lin Yun, “Do you know where Lin Tao is now?”
Lin Yun retracted her gaze and looked at Wang Lan in amusent. “Shouldn’t he be in the Lin family now?”
Hearing Lin Yun’s words, Wang Lan’s expression beca even uglier.
If Lin Tao appeared in the Lin family now, she would have a hundred ways to chase that little bastard out of the Lin family!
However, that little bastard’s whereabouts were unknown. Wang Lan could not find out when he would appear in the Lin family or if Lin Cheng was secretly plotting sothing with him!
This was the reason why Wang Lan felt flustered!
“He’s not in the Lin family! Didn’t he look for you?” Wang Lan looked at Lin Yun warily.
Lin Yun’s expression did not change at all as she replied calmly, “No.”
Wang Lan kept staring at Lin Yun as if she wanted to see so clues on her face.
However, no matter how she looked, she could not see anything unusual.
At that mont, the waiter knocked and walked in.
Wang Lan did as she said and ordered a few dishes for Lin Yun that she liked.
This was probably the only relationship between mother and daughter that remained after more than ten years.
However, when a small bowl of peanut paste was brought to Lin Yun, the smile that had just appeared on Lin Yun’s face slowly disappeared.
Although Wang Lan was unhappy with Lin Yun’s response since the dishes had already been served and the waiter was beside her. As such, Wang Lan invited Lin Yun to eat.
Lin Yun did not move. Her eyes even revealed a mocking smile.
Wang Lan frowned slightly, as she beca even more dissatisfied with Lin Yun’s attitude. “What kind of attitude is this? I ordered this table of dishes for you. Can’t you give the honor of having a taste?”
“Did you order it for ?” Lin Yun smiled and looked at the dishes on the table.
“We’ve been mother and daughter for more than ten years, but you never knew that I like to eat spicy food and seafood…” Lin Yun looked at the table that was filled with all kinds of vegetables, chickens, and ducks, but there was not even a prawn.
She paused before finally getting up. “I’m allergic to peanuts. I’m afraid this table of dishes isn’t for .”
After Lin Yun finished speaking, she walked out before Wang Lan could react.
Seeing this, Wang Lan imdiately panicked.
She had yet to get the news she wanted to know. How could she let Lin Yun leave just like that?
Wang Lan quickly walked forward and grabbed Lin Yun’s wrist. “Don’t leave yet! I didn’t notice. Let’s order sothing else!”
Lin Yun shook off Wang Lan’s hand. “No need!”
Wang Lan was about to flare up again, but she rembered that she still wanted to get sothing out of Lin Yun, so she suppressed her anger and said, “Alright! Don’t be angry! Let’s just drink tea and chat, okay?”
Lin Yun sighed. She knew that if Wang Lan didn’t obtain what she wanted to know, she would never let her off so easily.
Perhaps Wang Lan would keep pestering her while she was in the capital!
Lin Yun turned to face Wang Lan. “I don’t know where Lin Tao is now, and I don’t intend to enter the Lin Corporation to work.”
“So, is there anything else you want to ask?”
“Are you really not planning to enter the Lin Corporation?” Wang Lan did not seem to give up and continued to ask.
“No!” Lin Yun replied without hesitation.
