Yunyi didn’t go to the cafeteria for dinner but chose to eat with the crew instead.

Gui Kairong made a special trip over to greet Yunyi. "Yunyi, co over after you’ve finished eating. I’ve arranged for soone to guide you through tomorrow’s scene."

Yunyi didn’t refuse. Although she had seen many movies in her previous life and could draw so inspiration from them, she wasn’t formally trained, so learning more was always beneficial.

Gui Kairong was genuinely dedicated. He arranged two teachers for her and provided intensive training, pouring a wealth of professional knowledge into Yunyi.

Worried that Yunyi might find the process tedious, he would have them take a break every half hour to drink tea and let Yunyi share her insights.

No one expected Yunyi to be able to apply what she learned on the spot, astonishing both the teachers and Gui Kairong.

Leaving the film crew’s temporary office and walking back through the snow, she saw Qiao Wenyu, Zheng Xuefang, Wei Zijia, and Ye Wenhui waiting for her outside.

Yunyi walked quickly toward them. "How long have you all been here? You’re almost turning into snown!"

Ye Wenhui took Yunyi’s arm. "Did you really replace Zhang Xueyan as the female lead in ’Warm Sun of Winter’?"

Yunyi nodded with a smile. "Yes, we shot a few scenes this afternoon, and the director thinks it’s quite alright."

If Gui Kairong were there, he surely would have said, not just quite alright, but exceedingly so.

Ye Wenhui spoke sowhat coquettishly, "I’ve yet to beco an extra, and you’re already the female lead. I’m so envious."

Yunyi looked at her. "Didn’t they post a notice this morning for casting temporary extras? Did you sign up?"

Ye Wenhui sounded regretful. "They only needed fifty people. I was a bit late, and it was already over."

Yunyi urged them, "Quick, brush the snow off your clothes so your cotton jackets don’t get wet."

All of them were sowhat excited. Wei Zijia looked envious. "Yunyi, what does it feel like to act?"

Yunyi thought for a mont. "It’s a mix of hardship and joy. If you don’t put your heart into acting, it might be even more bitter."

Wei Zijia obviously didn’t understand. "Ah, what do you an by that?"

Yunyi started laughing. "Think about standing in a snowfield with snow flying all around. It’s incredibly cold, but you want to do well in your role, so you naturally put your heart into it. Despite the hardship, you’re willing to endure it, and that brings inner joy.

"But if you’re not invested and your emotions aren’t there, you’ll likely not pass the scene and will have to reshoot. That ans more ti freezing out there—and that’s even harder."

After hearing Yunyi’s explanation, Wei Zijia nodded. "That really does make sense."

At this point, Ye Wenhui inquired, "Yunyi, can we co to watch you guys film tomorrow?"

Yunyi honestly didn’t know. "To tell you the truth, I’m not really sure. I don’t know if I can bring people onto the set. But if you want to watch, I can certainly ask."

Wei Zijia and Ye Wenhui jumped up excitedly. "Really? That would be fantastic! We’d also like to go in and see how you film."

The site had been sealed off by soone in the last few days. Unless permitted, they really couldn’t enter.

As they spoke, they reached a fork in the road. Seeing that it was getting late, Yunyi said, "Okay, it’s late and the snow is falling heavily. I won’t keep you any longer. Go back and rest early."

My master might still be waiting, and the snow on his straw hut’s roof still needs clearing. I have to make this trip and inform him, otherwise he and his grandson will worry about .

With these thoughts, she ignored the ongoing snowfall and headed straight for the back mountain.

At the foot of the mountain, she activated her qinggong and, half an hour later, reached her destination. She took out the mixed-flour stead buns she had stored in her space, along with so pickles she had preserved herself, then knocked on the door of the hut. "Master, open up."

No sooner had she spoken than the door was opened from the inside. "Why are you still coming over this late?"

Yunyi handed over the food she had brought while recounting the day’s events to her master. "I may not be able to co over for the next few days, so I brought you so food. I was also worried about your straw hut, thinking I should help you shovel the snow off the roof."

Upon hearing Yunyi’s words, a warm stream flowed through Yuan Yuxun’s heart. For a mont, he couldn’t say a word, fearing that his emotions would betray him and provoke laughter from the two youngsters.
