"Huh? Son, what’s that in your hand?"
In a casual glance, Gu Yi noticed her son fiddling with sothing strange in his hand and couldn’t help but ask.
As she asked, she reached out and took the little stick from her son’s hand.
Then... recognizing the object, and her gaze swiftly catching the sight of the packaging box and bag scattered on the couch between her and her son, Gu Yi’s face changed! She grasped her son at once and asked, "Quick, tell Mom! Where did you get this from?!"
No sooner had she finished asking than she suddenly stood up to shield her son, covering his mouth to stop his reply, while forcefully signaling with her eyes and saying, "Never mind, never mind! The adults are discussing things right now! We’ll talk about this thing later! You hurry off to your uncle’s room to play! Don’t stick around here and cause chaos!"
Fortunately, her son didn’t disappoint her. Although he didn’t understand why, hearing that he wasn’t restricted to the couch any longer, he obediently ran off.

Considering that she and Gu’s father hadn’t finished their wedding preparations, it really wasn’t good to inquire now, so she pretended not to know and continued to engage with her future sister-in-law in discussions.

Finally, after sending them out the door, Gu Yi rushed imdiately to push the door to Gu Qing’s bedroom! To her surprise, it wouldn’t budge!
"Xiaoqing! Xiaoqing, co out! Open the door quickly! Auntie needs to ask you sothing! Hurry up! Open the door!"
"I won’t open it! If you have sothing to say, go talk to my dad! Don’t bother !" Gu Qing’s still annoyed voice ca from inside the bedroom.
"Hey you little wretch! You better open the door for now! Believe it or not, if I get in, I’ll pinch you for being so disobedient?!"
"Hmph! You can’t get in anyway, you go pinch whoever you want! No one is ever going to enter my room again after this!"
Hearing her niece’s implied and sarcastic words, Gu Yi got angry as well! Now that there were no outsiders at ho, she decided to set aside Gu Qing’s face and shouted directly through the door, "No need to enter the room! You tell , where did this pregnancy test stick co from?!"
