The first half of the morning had already passed, and Teacher Wu handed the second class monitor a titable and instructed him to copy it onto the blackboard. Then, leaving only a "Everyone study on your own!" she left the classroom.

Teacher Wu had barely been gone for a mont when the classroom beca noisy again.

After all, it was only the first day of school, and there were no classes in the morning! It was quite normal for the discipline to be lax! Including the class monitor, all the class leaders weren’t in the mood to manage everyone, so they let the students whisper among themselves.

And Zhen Yu, who was new to this environnt, instinctively kept silent.

Her eyes were always fixed on the clean desk, but her mind was wildly wandering.

Zhen Yu wasn’t intentionally giving off a cold vibe, but from the perspective of her new deskmate, it appeared as though Zhen Yu was radiating a ’stay away from ’ aura.

So when Han Mingyue turned to her side, she saw the expressionless Zhen Yu, who looked like a sculpture, and her male deskmate’s face filled with caution.

"Zhen Yu!" Since they were in the classroom, Han Mingyue couldn’t call her by her nickna as usual.

On hearing the voice, Zhen Yu slightly turned her head and looked up at him.

"Here are your books." Han Mingyue said as he turned his head back and picked up the stack of textbooks on his desk in two batches and placed them on Zhen Yu’s desk.

Zhen Yu’s gaze followed Han Mingyue’s movents throughout, and finally rested on his fair, slender hand with distinct knuckles, resting on the edge of her desk.

"I’ve written your na on them."

Zhen Yu nodded, her gaze still on his hand, "Yeah! I saw."

"The titable," Han Mingyue tried to sound casual, "copy one for too, will you?"

Zhen Yu then looked up at him, her eyes smiling, "Sure."

Han Mingyue’s ears turned red from being teased, and he quickly turned his body back.

However, Zhen Yu first fixed her gaze on Han Mingyue’s back for a while, then dug out paper and a pen from her bag and began to copy the titable.

Seeing this, her new deskmate hurriedly took out his paper and pen as well, and started copying in sync with Zhen Yu.

For a mont, this corner of the classroom was the quietest.

But this quiet lasted for less than a minute before being broken by Jia Ming.

As Han Mingyue’s lower bunkmate and deskmate, he knew early on that Han Mingyue and Zhen Yu knew each other. After witnessing all of Han Mingyue’s actions just now, Jia Ming was incredibly restless!

Others might not know, but Jia Ming couldn’t ignore it! Ever since the beginning of freshman year, it was clear that Han Mingyue had been entangled with Zhen Yu and the Bottom School Beauty, Bai Xue, which obviously ant ’big trouble’!

Now it seed that the handso Han Mingyue was actually not ’judging a book by its cover’?

"Hey! Give a brother so insight, what exactly is your relationship with her?!" Jia Ming nudged Han Mingyue a couple of tis with his elbow.

Han Mingyue was deep in thought, racking his brains on how he could beco desk mates with Zhen Yu! His train of thought was interrupted by Jia Ming, and he glanced at this bizarre roommate and remained silent for a long while.

The truth! In a dorm of eight people, this Jia Ming was definitely the most eccentric!

Having lived together for half a year, Han Mingyue had more or less figured out the personalities of the other six roommates. But this one! He frequently spouted shocking statents!

If he had to pinpoint one characteristic of Jia Ming, Han Mingyue thought it could only be his unpredictability!

He sotis really doubted whether this guy was reincarnated from a chaleon! How could Han Mingyue possibly tell him the truth in such a case?!

---

As a result, Han Mingyue refused to talk, so Jia Ming nagged him incessantly!

Even though Han Mingyue kept silent throughout, Jia Ming managed to guess the situation almost precisely on his own.

"I guessed it right, didn’t I?! I knew it!" Jia Ming had already found the answer from Han Mingyue’s microexpressions, but he still muttered to himself, "I knew it! How could a handso guy like you not be in love early!"

Han Mingyue was full of dark lines in his head! What kind of bizarre logic was Jia Ming using?

Does being ’handso’ necessarily an ’early love’...

Han Mingyue was just ntally complaining when Jia Ming suddenly sidled up to him and whispered with woeful eyes, "How about I go ask Teacher Wu to change your seat? That’s the most I can do for you, buddy!"

"!!!"

The matter he had been secretly hoping for suddenly ca without any effort, and Han Mingyue felt sowhat bewildered.

"Why aren’t you saying anything? Don’t want to move? Or are you too happy and stunned?!" Jia Ming, knowing full well it was the latter, still chose to tease, "If you don’t want to, then let’s just forget it..."

"Jia Ming’er!" Han Mingyue suddenly interrupted Jia Ming in a low voice, and nodded toward the classroom door.

Jia Ming imdiately got the ssage, asking, "Should I go now??"

"Yeah!" Han Mingyue responded embarrassingly, quickly standing up to let Jia Ming pass.

"Ha! Look how anxious you are!" Jia Ming teased quietly as he made his way out of his seat and headed straight out of the classroom.

---

No one knew what Jia Ming said to Teacher Wu, but as soon as he returned, he whispered to Zhen Yu, "Zhen Yu, Teacher Wu said we should switch seats."

At first Zhen Yu didn’t understand and then directly turned to look at Han Mingyue.

After noticing his discreet nod, Zhen Yu realized it was his sneaky maneuver.

Zhen Yu really didn’t expect Teacher Wu to agree on letting two ’suspected early lovers’ sit together! After all, she and Han Mingyue had been reported before!

But now wasn’t the ti to dwell on those thoughts! After taking out her school bag from the desk, Zhen Yu moved from her original seat to the one beside Han Mingyue.

And the male student behind Han Mingyue seed relieved the entire ti.

After all, the high school students are young, and no one wants to sit next to soone completely indifferent like a block of wood!

Although the subtle movents between the four of them didn’t make much noise, other students in the classroom still noticed, and one by one turned their heads towards Zhen Yu.

Even leaving Gu Qing aside, just the looks from the other girls in class two were enough to overwhelm Zhen Yu! Curious, dissatisfied, scrutinizing, probing! Even envious! Various looks intertwined, dazzling Zhen Yu.

Such a headache! Han Mingyue’s seat-changing tactic really put her under a lot of pressure!

But what could Zhen Yu really do? Her own raised cub, she could only protect him herself!

In the end, she still had to just bite the bullet and bear it all...
