"That’s good!" Mrs. Zhen felt a huge relief when she heard her daughter’s definite tone. As long as her daughter wasn’t thinking about those things! Mrs. Zhen sternly set the rules for her daughter, "Let tell you! Absolutely no dating in high school! You are only allowed to date after you go to college!"

Zhen Yu obediently nodded her head, "I know!"

Mrs. Zhen glared at her a few tis before she dropped the subject.

After their chat, Mrs. Zhen instructed her daughter to have another IV drip at the Han Family’s ho the next day.

"Since we’re already bothering them, one more day won’t hurt! I’ll talk to Uncle Han later, let him give you another injection tomorrow morning! I will co early tomorrow evening to pick you up and take you ho."

"Got it, Mom."

"Then I’m heading out! It’s getting late and I shouldn’t stay at soone else’s house too long, it might delay their dinner!" Mrs. Zhen touched her daughter’s forehead, "Make sure you don’t kick off your blankets at night, even if it’s hot, you must bear with it, understand?"

"Got it, Mom! Please head back safely!"

Mrs. Zhen smiled contentedly, reassured by her sensible daughter.

---

"Brother! Fu Yu is too much! He actually jumped the wall! And he even caused Zhen Yu to catch a cold!" As soon as the brothers returned to Han Jiayang’s room, he imdiately started venting on behalf of his brother.

Han Mingyue’s expression was grim, and he was just as angry! The thought of Zhen Yu getting a cold made him want to drag Fu Yu into the snow and douse him with cold water!

Thinking so, he motioned his brother over.

Han Jiayang imdiately ca over with his head bowed, "Brother? Should we deal with him?"

Han Jiayang didn’t have much hope, as he thought his brother would shake his head and refuse as usual.

But to his surprise, there was a pleasant shock this ti! His brother actually nodded in agreent!

"Really going to deal with him..." Han Jiayang repeated in disbelief.

Han Mingyue firmly nodded, "Yes! Tomorrow we’ll do this..."

"Mission guaranteed!" Han Jiayang saluted after hearing his brother’s plan.

Han Mingyue was not in the mood to joke around with his brother, "I’m going to check outside, Aunt Cheng is probably leaving soon."

"Go ahead! You should really look after Aunt Cheng..."

---

After greeting the Han Family couple, Mrs. Zhen put on her coat and said her goodbyes.

It was just then that Han Mingyue ca out from his brother’s room, timing it just right.

"Aunt Cheng, you’re leaving now? Let walk you out!"

"No need! It’s just a few steps away," Mrs. Zhen declined.

However, Mr. Han said, "Ming Yue, take a flashlight for your Aunt Cheng to light the way! There’s no moon tonight, and walking at night is not safe, there’s also a big pit nearby..."

Han Mingyue imdiately took out a flashlight from the drawer, but Mrs. Zhen snatched it away, "Just giving the flashlight will do, I’ll bring it back tomorrow evening." Saying this, she opened the door and left!

---

The remaining mbers of the Han Family looked at each other, Mrs. Han was the first to head to the kitchen, and while walking, she still called out to Mr. Han, "Hurry and start cooking! The kids must be hungry!"

"Coming, coming..."

Suddenly, Han Mingyue was left alone in the living room.

He glanced towards the kitchen, seeing his parents discussing what to cook for dinner and not noticing him, he quietly pushed his bedroom door open a crack.

"Xiao Yu, may I co in?" Han Mingyue spoke softly.

Luckily, Zhen Yu had indeed slept a lot in the afternoon, and she hadn’t fallen asleep again, just lying on the bed, daydreaming.

"Co in!"

With permission, Han Mingyue quietly entered and closed the door softly.

Zhen Yu turned her head towards the door, "Has my mom left? Cough cough..." She had barely asked when she started coughing.

Lying down and coughing was very uncomfortable, so she propped herself up on the bed with her un-injected arm, attempting to sit up.

Han Mingyue quickly hurried over and helped her sit up.

With one hand covering her mouth, Zhen Yu coughed a few tis and asked, "Cough, cough, cough! Where are Uncle and Auntie?"

"Aunt Cheng just left, and my dad and mom are cooking dinner," Han Mingyue answered as she picked up a half glass of water from the table to give to Zhen Yu, only to realize the water had gone cold.

"I’ll go get you so hot water. Are you hungry? Should I get you so snacks too?"

"No need! Just give so water to drink first." Zhen Yu coughed painfully in her throat.

Han Mingyue bent down and brought the water cup to Zhen Yu’s lips, "Just take one sip, hold it in your mouth for a while before swallowing! I’ll go get so hot water!"

Obediently, Zhen Yu took a sip and held the water in her mouth, while Han Mingyue left with the water cup.

When she returned, she brought not only a cup of hot water but also a thermoter.

After Zhen Yu finished drinking the entire cup of water, Han Mingyue suggested, "Let’s take your temperature again."

Zhen Yu readily agreed.

——

"38.3 degrees, it went back down again." Han Mingyue breathed a sigh of relief and sat down on the chair beside the bed.

"Other than the fever, do you feel discomfort anywhere else?"

"My throat hurts a bit," Zhen Yu confessed honestly.

"Drink so more water?" Upon hearing this, Han Mingyue, supporting herself on the bed’s edge, prepared to stand up to get more water.

"No need!" Zhen Yu quickly grabbed his hand, "Drinking too much will make need the restroom."

Upon her hand grasp, Han Mingyue instantly froze.

Right when his gaze fell upon the back of Zhen Yu’s hand, Zhen Yu, as if stung, abruptly withdrew her hand.

The room suddenly turned eerily quiet, so quiet that they could only hear each other’s faint breathing.

After a long pause, Han Mingyue finally made up his mind and said, "Don’t stay in the dorm anymore! Stay at my house!"

Zhen Yu blinked rapidly, sowhat unable to process. Why would he suddenly want her to move into the Han Family’s house?

What she didn’t know was that Han Mingyue had thought of this ever since he learned her family was moving away, but he had been hesitating to bring it up.

Seeing her not responding, thinking she was considering Mr. Han and Mrs. Han’s opinion, Han Mingyue added, "My parents will definitely agree! I’ll let you have my room!"

Zhen Yu realized Han Mingyue misunderstood and felt compelled to say, "My mom definitely wouldn’t agree!"

Han Mingyue fell silent.

She only said her mom wouldn’t agree, but she didn’t say whether she herself would want to or not.

To ask? Or not to ask...

——

In the end, Han Mingyue still didn’t ask, as he didn’t dare to take the risk.

On the surface, aside from Zhen Yan, Zhen Yu treated him the best. She always prioritized him and almost never refused any of his requests.

But apart from Fu Yu, she was also very good to her other friends.

And Fu Yu, before he started acting out, Zhen Yu treated him very well too!

This made Han Mingyue sowhat unclear, which kind of ’good’ did Zhen Yu’s treatnt towards him fall under?

Both of them enjoyed quietness, love reading, and writing, could it be that she treats him more specially than other friends only because they share similar interests?

If it’s just that, Han Mingyue could still accept it.

What he feared more was, could it be because Zhen Yan and Jiaoyang are similarly unrestrained, thus Zhen Yu treated him as an elder brother figure?

If that were the case...
