In the Lu Family villa, Ji Qianqian sat alone in a room playing with a pile of blocks that had long been scattered.

A servant was cleaning the room, occasionally glancing at Ji Qianqian.

Ever since the eldest miss brought this girl ho, countless events had followed in succession.

For this reason, the master and madam frequently got upset and even considered sending the eldest miss abroad, thinking that perhaps then everything would be resolved.

Ji Qianqian played alone for a while, then turned her head to look at the servant behind her and said, "Aunt Li, when is Sister Qingqing going to finish? Qianqian is so bored!"

Aunt Li paused in her actions and looked at Ji Qianqian, saying, "The eldest miss is still in class; you’ll have to wait another half an hour. Can you play by yourself for a while? Aunt Li will get you a storybook to read, okay?"

Not long ago, Ji Qianqian had been normal for a while, even though she hadn’t completely recovered, but she seed almost like a normal person.

Intellect and disposition were those of a young girl, unlike now, when she seed to be reverting to a playful, mischievous child.

To make Ji Qianqian better, Lu Qingqing had sought quite a few doctors, even using so connections that the master and madam had accumulated in their younger years.

This was discovered by the master and madam earlier this morning, and even after the class is over, it won’t stop them from having a heated argunt.

Thinking this way, Aunt Li gently closed the door after handing the storybook to Ji Qianqian when she nodded in agreent: "Aunt Li will tell you a story, alright?"

Ji Qianqian said, "I can read by myself. Will Sister Qingqing co to find Qianqian soon?"

Aunt Li responded softly, looking at Ji Qianqian’s beautiful delicate face, feeling a deep sense of regret.

If this child were normal, what a delightful child she would be!

Alas, it’s truly a pity!

"Yes, so Qianqian needs to be good and wait for Sister Qingqing in the room, okay?" Aunt Li’s gaze was filled with compassion as she looked at Ji Qianqian; after all, she was older, and seeing a child like Ji Qianqian who was about the sa age as her granddaughter always stirred so reluctance in her heart. "Qianqian, let’s go to the bedroom, and Aunt Li will tell you a story."

This ti, Ji Qianqian shook her head: "Qianqian wants to wait here for Sister to co, Qianqian doesn’t want to go back to the bedroom."

Aunt Li, seeing this, coaxed for quite a while before finally getting Ji Qianqian to lie on the bed.

She picked up the storybook and began to tell Ji Qianqian the story.

Perhaps because Ji Qianqian had recently started to beco sleepy, just as Aunt Li finished the second story, Ji Qianqian’s breathing had already beco steady, and she slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Sigh..." Aunt Li looked at Ji Qianqian’s face and sighed softly, then stood up and quietly left the room.

Just as she closed the door to Ji Qianqian’s bedroom and ca out, she saw the back of the teacher leaving.

"Aunt Li." Lu Qingqing turned around and just happened to see her from upstairs: "Was Qianqian behaving?"

Aunt Li shook her head: "No trouble at all."

As soon as she spoke, a commanding, deep male voice ca from another direction: "Qingqing, co with for a mont."

Lu Qingqing looked at her father’s stern face, her gaze trembled, and she nodded, following him into the study.

Aunt Li shook her head and sighed, turning to busy herself.

In the study, Lu Zhiyan looked at his daughter standing straight before him, with an unprecedented sternness in his voice: "How long do you plan to keep her in the house?"

"Until she recovers." Lu Qingqing, though fearless outside, dared not be brazen in front of her father.

Especially when he was angry.

"Ha, until she recovers?" Lu Zhiyan was amused by his daughter’s response, "This is the first ti I’ve heard that this kind of illness can recover! Qingqing, how long will your nonsense continue?"

The last sentence was spoken with unrestrained fury.

Lu Qingqing looked at her father, her fingers slowly curling into fists: "Dad, Qianqian is an orphan; where else can she go if she leaves ? Her illness will be cured soon. I’ve already..."

"Enough!" Lu Zhiyan slapped the table, glaring angrily at Lu Qingqing, his palm-spoiled daughter, for the first ti in such a harsh tone: "I’ll give you three days to move Ji Qianqian out of the house imdiately! Hasn’t she already received compensation from her parents? Just find her a place to live and get so people to watch over her. If you’re worried, check on her now and then. I refuse to believe she can’t survive without you!"

Lu Qingqing pursed her lips, but without Ji Qianqian, she was afraid she might not survive...

"Dad, she doesn’t bother anyone in the house. Can’t you let her stay in front of a little longer?" Lu Qingqing bit her lip and looked at Lu Zhiyan, trying to persuade him: "Besides, didn’t you like Qianqian a lot when she was a child? Why do you dislike her now?"

Lu Zhiyan sat on the chair, recalling scenes from the past amidst the days when the two little girls gathered around his knees, and the anger in his voice seed to subside a bit: "It’s not Ji Qianqian that I dislike, it’s your attitude towards Ji Qianqian. Qingqing, you’re the sole heir of the Lu Family; our future relies on you. You lose all sense when it cos to Ji Qianqian. How can you manage the Lu Family in the future?"

The thought of this made Lu Zhiyan’s heart ache.

Long ago, Lu Qingqing wasn’t like this, but since Ji Qianqian ca into her life, Lu Qingqing seed to have changed.

Whenever it was about Ji Qianqian, she beca reckless, only focusing on the outco, not considering the cost.

Lu Qingqing replied: "Dad, what do you an sole heir? Isn’t Xiao Hai graduating from college this year? He should start getting involved with the family business too."

"You!" Lu Zhiyan’s anger, which had just subsided, imdiately flared up again: "Did we raise you like this from a young age just to exchange everything for such words?"

Lu Qingqing, frightened by her father’s tone, shivered all over, her gaze changing: "Dad, I don’t want it this way either. Just give a bit more ti, okay?"

"A bit more ti?" Lu Zhiyan’s fingers trembled with rage: "Even if I give you a lifeti, she won’t get better. She has to move out within three days. I don’t want to see that child again!"

Lu Qingqing looked at her father, no longer daring to retort, "Dad, please calm down! I... I’ll have her move out, alright? Your health isn’t good. Don’t get so worked up!"

Seeing Lu Qingqing finally softening her tone, Lu Zhiyan remained silent.

After an unknown amount of ti, just as Lu Qingqing was about to speak again, she heard her father suddenly say: "Your uncles are coming over for dinner tomorrow; make sure to entertain them well! Apologize to them! You’ve been too reckless lately!"
