When Gu Wanwan opened her eyes, the room was pitch black, with only moonlight gently spilling onto her bedding.
There was an indescribable coldness, along with solitude, making her thoughts clearer than ever.
"You’re awake?"
Li Jing’s voice ca from her side, and Gu Wanwan’s heart gave a sharp jolt, startled by the sudden sound.
"Why, why are you here?"
In the darkness, Li Jing sighed leisurely but didn’t answer her question. "I’ll help you sit up and eat sothing!"
Saying this, a warm palm reached out, and Gu Wanwan instinctively sat up, following his hand.
The next mont, Li Jing walked to the door and turned on the light in the room.
The strong light instantly overwheld Gu Wanwan’s eyes, she subconsciously tried to shield them with her hand, but Li Jing had already returned to her side.
"I just bought it back; luckily, you woke up early, otherwise it would have gotten cold soon."

Gu Wanwan turned her head to look at him, wondering if she had chosen Ye Mingchen instead of an ordinary person.
Perhaps everything would have been different?

Gu Wanwan didn’t notice the surge of emotions in Li Jing’s eyes, only looking at the light above as she spoke: "Actually... I should... not be that bad..."
Li Jing supported her delicate arm and suddenly reached out to lift the hair by her ear, leaning in to whisper: "It’s okay, it’s not too late now... you..."
As the words fell, Gu Wanwan’s eyes widened, unable to believe what she had just heard.
Li Jing helped her to the side of the bathroom, thoughtfully pushed the door open: "I’ll be outside the door, if you need help, call ."
Gu Wanwan nodded, holding onto the wall as she walked into the bathroom.
As ti passed, Li Jing waited for a while, then reached out to knock on the door: "Miss Gu, are you done?"
No one answered from inside, causing Li Jing to frown slightly.
After a few more minutes, the surveillance showed Li Jing breaking open the bathroom door and carrying out Gu Wanwan, whose wrist was bleeding profusely.
That night, having undergone an abortion not long ago, Gu Wanwan entered the ergency room.
The police arrived when she had just escaped danger.
